This is what happened the day after I left Saranda, where I spent some 
great and interesting days (I'll write you more about it):


Quake tremors in zone of Saranda

                      SARANDA, Oct.22 (ata) - By Sh Hajno:
                      The seismological center of the region of
                      Saranda recorded early on Sunday an
                      earthquake of 4 points on the Richter
                      scale.
                      The chief of the center, Xhemal Hasani,
                      told ATA that "the quake was recorded at
                      02.58 a.m. on Sunday and had its
                      epicenter in the zone of Konispol, 35 km
                      from Saranda.
                      According to this source, the earthquake
                      was felt more in the southeastern zone of
                      Saranda, affecting the zones of Livadhja,
                      Xarra, Finiq, etc., without causing
                      material damage.
                      About a year ago, an earthquake of 4.5
                      points on the Richter scale, was
                      registered, but without material damage.
                      The seismological center of Saranda set
                      up in 1978. In 1999 it was furnished by
                      the Seismological Institute of the
                      Academy of Sciences with contemporary
                      equipment.
