I would love to get in touch with two ethnic Albanian sisters, Fatima and Larina, who appeared in a report for BBC News Online in May 1999. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/354893.stm The sisters risked their lives to film Serb soldiers who forced them and hundreds of other people from their homes in Mitrovica. They were made to walk 80km to Djakovica and then back again. They were interviewed in a refugee camp in Montenegro by a BBC reporter in May 1999, but I do not know what happened to them since. The only information I have is their names, Fatima and Larina, they are probably in their early or mid twenties. Fatima has long dark curly hair and Larina has long straight blonde hair. They used to live in Mitrovika and may have returned there now. They were split from their family when they left Mitrovika, but found one another at the refugee camp in Montenegro. They were both law students. I would be grateful for any help you can give me in finding the girls. I would love to talk to them and find out if they are interested in telling their story for a short film to be shown on CNN and the Discovery Channel. regards Rebecca Armstrong associate producer 'Personal Journeys' Coast Productions 33 Gresse Street London W1T 1QU 0044 (0)20 7436 4481 rebecca at coasthouse.com
