Senator Hillary R. Clinton (D-NY) Kicks-off the MICROBIZNY Conference in
Albany, NY on December 10
 
NAAC Praised at Inauguration of MicroBizNY Conference
 
New York, NY, December 11, 2003: The National Albanian American Council
(NAAC) issued the following statement regarding the MicroBizNY
Conference held in Albany, New York on December 10, 2003. 
The National Albanian American Council (NAAC) was praised for its
contribution to the betterment of Albanian refugee and asylee
entrepreneurs at the inauguration of MicroBizNY, a new association of
micro-enterprise practitioners and non-profit supporters throughout New
York State, which was announced on December 10 in Albany, NY. 
 
Senator Hillary R. Clinton (D-NY), who delivered the keynote address,
congratulated NAAC for teaming up with the Business Outreach Center
(BOC) Network through the Refugee Micro-enterprise Development Project,
which is funded by the Office for Refugee Resettlement, U.S. Department
of Health and Human Services.  The Refugee Project provides free
business start-up and management assistance to would be entrepreneurs of
special immigration status.
 
BOC Network Executive Director Nancy Carin, who was one of the main
event panelists, singled out NAAC and the Trickle-Up Foundation to
illustrate her organization’s successful partnership with other
not-for-profits in lending a helping hand to refugees and asylees
seeking financial independence.
 
Sponsored by JP Morgan Chase, the Aspen Institute and the Association
for Enterprise Opportunity, the one-day conference served as a forum for
numerous non-profit entities and offered a series of training workshops
to help participating organizations be more efficient in fulfilling
their institutional objectives.
 
The services offered by the NAAC and BOC Network include pre-loan and
post-loan technical assistance, workshops and training, business
start-up/expansion assistance, access to financing, business plan
development, grant for low-income entrepreneurs, management assistance,
access to legal assistance, market research/strategies, licensing and
permit information.
 
The two organizations co-host on a regular basis free business seminars
featuring professionals from fields such as corporate law and
accounting, business credit and insurance specialists and successful
entrepreneurs to provide the Albanian-American community in the City of
New York with an overview on how to start and manage a successful
business.

Senatorja Hillary R. Clinton hap konferencën “MICROBIZ-NY”, që u mbajt
në Albany, NY më 10 dhjetor
KKSHA vlerësohet në Konferencën ‘MICROBIZ-NY’
 
New York, NY, 11 dhjetor 2003 – Këshilli Kombëtar Shqiptaro Amerikan
(KKSHA) lëshoi këtë dëklaratë për shtyp në lidhje me konferecën për
microbiznesin që u hap nga senatorja Hillary R. Clinton më 10 dhjetor në
Albany, New York.
Këshilli Kombëtar Shqiptaro Amerikan (KKSHA) u vlerësua për kontributin
që po jep në dobi të biznesmenëve refugjatë dhe azilantë shqiptarë në
ceremoninë e inaugurimit të “MicroBizNY”, një bashkëshoqërim i
organizatave jo-përfituese dhe bizneseve të vogla në shtetin e New
York-ut që u shpall më 10 dhjetor në Albany, New York.
 
Senatorja Hillary R. Clinton, e cila mbajti edhe fjalën kryesore, e
përgëzoi KKSHA për bashkëpunimin me Qendrën e Rrjetit të Biznesit (QRrB)
në kuadër të Projektit të Zhvillimit të Biznesit të Refugjatit, që
sponsorizohet nga Zyra për Rivendosjen e Refugjatit pranë Departamentit
Amerikan të Shëndetësisë.  Projekti i Refugjatit u ofron ndihmë teknike
dhe teorike refugjatëve apo azilantëve që duan të hapin biznese të reja
apo përmirësojnë menaxhimin e bizneseve eksituese.
 
Drejtoresha ekzekutive e QRrB, Nancy Carin, që ishte një prej
panelistëve kryesorë, veçoi KKSHA dhe fondacionin ndërkombëtar “Trickle
Up” për të ilustruar partneritetin e suksesshëm të organzatës së saj me
instuticione të tjera jo-përfituese që ndihmojnë refugjatët dhe
azilantët që synojnë të sigurojnë pavarësi financiare.
 
Konferenca një-ditore u sponsorizua nga banka “JP Morgan Chase”,
instituti “Aspen”, etj.  Ajo shërbeu si forum për një sërë entitetesh
jo-përfituese dhe u ofroi atyre seminare përgatitore për t’i ndihmuar në
arritjen sa më mirë të qëllimeve të tyre institucionale.
 
Shërbimet që ofrohen nga KKSHA dhe QRrB përfishijnë pajisjen me lejen e
biznesit, ndihmë teknike para dhe pas marrjes së kredisë bankare,
seminare përgatitore, ndihmë për hapjen dhe zgjerimin e biznesit,
zhvillimin e planit të biznesit, asistencë legale dhe taksash, hulumtim
të tregut, etj.
 
Të dy organizatat sponsorizojnë rregullisht seminare falas ku
profesionistë të fushave të ndryshme, si nga siguracioni i biznesit,
krediti bankar, avokatura dhe kontabiliteti i biznesit, si dhe
biznesmenë të suksesshëm u japin pjesëmarrësve informata bazë mbi hapjen
dhe menaxhimin me sukses të bisnezit.
