[NYC-L] help for Albanian woman and her son in domestic violence shelter

Hello,

My name is Patricia and I am appealing to this group for assistance for my new 
friend Anna who is an immigrant from Albania.

Anna and her young son are currently living in a domestic violence shelter in 
the Bronx. They left their home with nothing more than the clothing on their 
backs and a small suitcase. I am desperately trying to help them get back on 
their feet and I am appealing to the Albanian community for help.

Are there any Albanian charities that could help donate clothing or toys to this 
family?
Does anyone know of an attorney who can help Anna navigate the court system as 
she needs to fight for child support for her son.
Can anyone help refer Anna to low-income housing for she and her son? 
Can anyone help donate supplies for when they find new housing? They will need 
basic supplies like pots and pans, towels and basic furniture. 

Thank you very much in advance for reading this email. I am trying very hard to 
help this wonderful woman and her son. I am reaching out to as many charities 
that help women and children as I can find in NYC. Anna has no family in this 
country and as you can imagine, she is extremely overwhelmed right now and 
desperately needs our support.
