has anybody else been getting emails with forged addresses re: the upcoming elections in Kosove? in the last 2 weeks or so i've been getting an endless and accelerating stream of emails from jeton at hotmail.com (my own addy) exhorting me to vote for various LDK and PDK candidates. the ip forgery seems to be elaborately done, as i cant block it or stop it, and of course it's unforgivably obnoxious. either those parties want to be hated, or some third party wants me to hate them...

has anyone else been getting this shit?

I`ve been getting emails from some pretty weird addresses (e.g.
newsletter at winxpsp3.net from LDK, with 'LDK Voto #' as the subject),
supposedly sent by individual candidates running for seats in
municipal assemblies in Kosov?, urging me to vote for them. While
nowhere near as disconcerting as what you seem to be getting, they are
nonetheless annoying. I think you`re right -- it`s either our people
over there getting overzealous (to put it mildly) or something far
more sinister is the case.

Yeah, I've had the same problem as Jeton and Xix. I have reported it to hotmail, and also plan to email the candidates whose emails i have received with complaints.
There is an option that helps check the source of the email, and I am also writing to all the domains i see there.
By any chance, have you ever left any coments for www.xenini.com blog?
