Here's an interesting publication by Stanford University on the Genetic Legacy of Paleolithic Homo Sapiens in Extant Europeans:

  You will notice in the tables of the study that the the Y chromosome seems to place Albanians and Greeks almost on the same range with each other; a similarity that is shared by very few other European ethnnic groups.
