(Forwarded Message) From: Sanela M.Kukaj <Sanela at albanian.com> Reply-To: Sanela at albanian.com To: nyc-l at alb-net.com Subject: VideoLetters film at Lincoln Center (Balkan issues) Date: Sat 18.06.2005 08:43 PM Hello my fellow Albanians: Just wanted to remind you all that the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival will have a "great" film beginning this weekend - about the Balkans. The film is in Albanian, "Serbo-Croation" or what I would call "Bosnian" instead. For you young kids who do not speak or understand the language, do not worry at all because there will be English subtitles featured especially for you. Do not wait until the last minute or else the tickets will sell out. I told too many people about it. Also, if you really want to go and are not able to get tickets give me a call on my voicemal at: (718)207-1110... I have a few extra tickets because my friends never know what they are doing until the last minute. Right now there are only about 100 tickets left for this Sunday's screening - the film is grouped in two parts because it is long. Sunday, the 19th of June at 1pm is the screening of the first part which is 75 minutes long. On the same day (which is convenient for most people) they are also showing the second part at 3:30pm. Tickets are 10$ for the general public, 7$ for students and 5$ for the little people. All the best, Sanela Kukaj PS: All films (international) are playing at the Walter Reade Theater, for more info. on listings and dates + times go to www.hrw.org/iff - try to make it to this one! Wear something with an Alb. flag if you can, Americans are sometimes fascinated by this, don't ask me why.
