[NYC-L] Free stuff coop

hello people

this link is to the nyc chapter of a yahoogroup called Freecycle. it's 
people giving away free stuff, and people asking for free stuff. ALL KINDS 
OF STUFF. read the rules before posting/replying...have good stuff to give 
away? post. need a free piano? or fax machine? or coffepot or pooltable or 
lamp or graphics card? read, and reply quickly...its all up-n-up, it's 
growing rapidly and it's cool. only real rule is that everything MUST be 
free...it's now a VERY busy list, so if u join u might want to clik 'edit my 
membership' in upper right hand and then set email delivery to "no email". 
this way u can just drop in at convenience, see if there's any recent offers 
u like, and respond accordingly. otherwise your inbox will flood...

you have to register with yahoogroups tho...you may end up notifying 
friends, family and community groups about this.
