Base Support Positions - Worldwide
DynCorp has recurring overseas requirements for base support personnel for
various programs worldwide. These programs are generally one year in
duration with the possibility of contract extension. These positions are
for skilled and semi-skilled personnel. Some positions require
professional licenses/training and a minimum of five years experience in
the selected field.
Base Support Positions: Positions are available on a limited but recurring
basis in Africa, Balkans (Kosovo and Bosnia), Central America and the
Middle East. There are also positions available for various contracts
within the United States. DynCorp is currently accepting resumes for the
following types of positions:
Camp Managers
Supply and Logistics Personnel
Electricians
Plumbers
Carpenters
Heavy Equipment Operators and Drivers
Cooks
Mission: Overseas positions are in support of the United Nations,
Department of State and Department of Defense. There are also several
contracts within the United States that provide direct support to The
Department of Defense.
Benefits: Benefits for overseas contract vary from location to location,
but for the most part include a base salary, completion bonus, per diem,
transportation and medical benefits for the individual while assigned
overseas. If DynCorp does not provide housing, per diem will be provided
for housing, meals, and incidentals. Income will not be subject to federal
income taxes if the employee meets current IRS exemption requirements (330
days outside the U.S. and its territories).
Benefits for positions within the United States include a base salary,
medical benefits, 401k program and the DynCorp standard benefits package.
These benefits will be discussed with potential candidates should a
position be available.
Position Requirements: Base support personnel must have a current license
if required for the position (example: Heavy Equipment Operators and
Drivers), prior military and international experience is desirable but not
required.
Employment Requirements: The successful candidate should be a U.S.
Citizen, poses or be able to obtain a U.S passport, pass a physical
examination, drug screening and background investigation. For some
positions a security clearance may be required.
Non US citizens who are fluent in English and poses current licenses that
authorize practice in the United States are encouraged to submit resumes.
Some overseas positions may be available for non U.S. Citizens.
