[Korca-L] Karin

I wonder: I have just met a woman in Oslo, Norway and she says that her  name is Karin. She is from Korca and my friends from Albania says that Karin is albanian word for penis and thats why it is impossible for a woman to have this name. Have my friends right or are they all kidding?I can't ask her that kind of thing,so please help me:Karin,is it a real name in Korca(she is "Kristian ortodox").Thanks!
