Sometimes scholarly events (panels, congresses) are announced, sometimes book reviews are reprinted from elsewhere. But the main interest focusses on the current conflict, i. e. Kosova and the international discussion on former Yugoslavia's future. Since the list is strictly moderated, there is no discussion at all. Sending a message there is like throwing a stone into a pond. When subscribing to Alst-l, I hoped it would be different from Balkan Academic list: focussing on Albanian issues and with real exchange of opinions.
