Balkans Academic list is not bad, but it deals with Albania only in the
sense that she is an object of political science. Sometimes scholarly
events (panels, congresses) are announced, sometimes book reviews are
reprinted from elsewhere. But the main interest focusses on the current
conflict, i. e. Kosova and the international discussion on former
Yugoslavia's future. Since the list is strictly moderated, there is no
discussion at all. Sending a message there is like throwing a stone into
a pond.

When subscribing to Alst-l, I hoped it would be different from Balkan
Academic list: focussing on Albanian issues and with real exchange of
opinions.

Kind regards
