>·  Political knowledge of East Europe, specifically the Balkans;
>·  Flexibility to work independently and with others;
>·  Strong writing skills and ability to write under deadline;
>·  Working knowledge of PC-based word processing and spreadsheets;
>·  Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

>Comments: The program officer will be based in Washington, DC, and work
>with a team of 10 Washington-based staff and with 1 to 4 expats in the
>region. The salary range is $27,000 to $41,000 depending on experience.
