In the last few days, the so-called "G-8" statement has generated quite some 
discussion, especially among the Albanian-American community.  This 
surprises me a lot.  I personally, do not see anything in there that even 
deserves our attention,  let us not even talk of consderation.  All it seems 
to be is a craftely manipulated document offering the precious "face saving" 
characteristics that the "great powers" so cherish, yet offering absolutely 
nothing that would even come close to satisfying the just demands of the 
Albanian nation.

I am not going to undertake a point by point discussion of the agreement, 
which might be called for when possesing a negative conviction of it.  
However, I am deeply convinced that all it calls for is the destruction of 
the Albanian justified claim over Kosova.  Agreements of this kind, merit no 
consideration.
