> Study Visits are part of the Balkan Youth Project
> (BYP). The BYP offers 
> through this element the opportunity for the youth
> NGOs from the SEE region 
> to apply for grants to carry out short-term study
> visits to identified 
> partner organisations in the European Union.

> These study visits will consist of delegations of 4
> persons from youth NGOs 
> from the Kosovo and Macedonia to visit partner NGOs
> in the EU countries for 
> a period of one week (including travel days). The
> activists applying for 
> the study visit can come only from one organisation.
> 
> The study visits are distributed as follows:
> Macedonia (1 study visit)
> Kosovo (1 study visit)
> 
> Selection criteria for participants:
> 
> Must be creative leaders;
> 
> Must be influential inside his/her organisation;
> 
> Must promote democratic values and be willing to
> share experience from the 
> study visit;
> 
> Must have a good knowledge of the agreed language of
> communication;
> 
> Must be aged 18 - 30.
> 
> Women are encouraged to apply!
> 
> Selection criteria for sending and host
> organisations:
> 
> Sending and hosting organisations have to be
> democratic youth structures;
> 
> Hosting organisation should be more developed than
> the sending organisation;
> 
> Sending and hosting organisations must be youth-led
> organisations (not 
> youth service-organisations);
> 
> There can be only one sending organisation;
> 
> Maximum 4 participants from sending organisation can
> take part in the Study 
> Visit;
> 
> Study Visit can last maximum 7 days;
> 
> Only youth NGOs from Macedonia and Kosovo can apply
> for the study visit;
> 
> Only youth NGOs from EU countries are eligible to
> apply as hosting 
> organisation.
