  CoE's SEMINAR FOR YOUTH LEADERS IN MACEDONIA, Ohrid, Macedonia, 18-25 
October, 2002

Does your organisation want to find contacts in the Former Yugoslav 
republic of Macedonia?
Do you already have contacts in the Former Yugoslav republic of Macedonia 
that you wish to nurture?
Do you want to share your experiences with other young people and have the 
opportunity to be a resource person and learn from others ( please see the 
attached explanation of what a resource person does?)
The Council of Europe is organising a Seminar for youth leaders living in 
"The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" which will take place from the 
18 - 25 October 2002 at the Youth Centre, Ohrid and they are looking for 5 
- 8 'non local particpants' ( people from other European countries) to take 
part in the event from other European Countries.
If you are interested in taking part and feel that you can contribute to 
the event and have carefully checked to see whether you meet the profile, 
outlined in the attached document then next step is ....to please as soon 
as possible complete the application form ( that means over the next few 
days) which you will find at the end of the attached document and send it 
back urgently to Carol Ann Morris at the European Youth Forum by e-mail 
carol-ann.morris at youthforum.org or by fax for her attention 0032 2 230 2123.
Maybe you, who are reading this e-mail are not interested so before 
consigning it to the deleted items - have a think about who could be 
interested and please let them have the opportunity by sending the message

A nd now some help for your application..
1. Please make sure that you answer all the questions as fully as possible, 
including the technical questions for your visa - since time is short your 
participation cannot be guaranteed if all information is not available. The 
questions can help those making the selection decide whether you meet the 
profile or not.
2. Make sure that you speak with your organisation - that means the 
organisation that want to send you to the seminar. Your sending 
organisation has to write a letter of support which MUST accompany your 
application form, otherwise your application cannot be considered. ( Make 
sure the letter of support has is either on letter header paper or has the 
stamp of your organisation - and is signed by the appropriate person)
Apologies for the very short notice of this call but we certainly hope that 
some of you will not miss this exciting opportunity and can take a role in 
contributing with your experience to contribute to the re-establishment of 
the youth scene in one of the countries of the SEE region.
