Subject: [balkans] CfA: Faculty Development in Southeastern Europe Program

My name is Vesna Bojicic- Dzelilovic, a research fellow at the London School of Economics and a co-ordinator of our new programme Faculty Development in South East Europe.
This is a joint programme between the London School of Economics, the Open Society Institute and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office aimed at improving teaching and research capacities of the universities in Albania, Bosnia-Hercegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. The program aims to bring up to 30 junior social science faculty from the universities in the aformentioned countries for 3- month study visits at the London School of Economics over a period of 3 years. During their stay at the LSE visitng fellows are expected to participate in a collaborative research programme with the LSE staff as well as our partners at the University of Bologna, Vienna Institute for International Economics (WIIW) and Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP).
We have two open calls for applications for the fellowship within the framework of this program. One is for the visitng fellows and the other for a postdoctoral fellow. Please pass them on to potential candidates.
Thank you.
