The Slovenian National YOUTH Agency MOVIT is taking the
initiative to develop a resource centre for co-operation with countries in
South East Europe. This initiative, also known as "South East Europe Contact
Office", offers several services to youth organisations, youth leaders,
youth workers and other actors in the youth field who are interested in
developing co-operation between YOUTH Programme countries and so-
called "Third countries" in South East Europe.

The YOUTH Programme is a programme of the European Union which
promotes
European co-operation in the field of non-formal education of
young
people.
Within the YOUTH programme, besides programme countries also Third
countries
can co-operate under certain conditions. Third countries from
South East
Europe (SEE) include Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, FYR
Macedonia
and Yugoslavia (Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo). Those countries can
co-operate
in multilateral projects of youth exchanges, European Voluntary
Service
and
support activities (such as training courses, seminars or study
visits).

The services of the SEE Contact Office include possibilities for
finding
partners for YOUTH projects, information, and co-ordinating or
co-operating
in contact-making and training activities offered by National
YOUTH
Agencies
from different countries.

ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTER FROM THE SEE CONTACT OFFICE
MOVIT also sends out regular newsletters by e-mail, that are of

DATABASE FOR YOUTH NGOs IN SOUTH EAST EUROPE
MOViT has launced an electronic database at its web-pages for
youth NGOs
in South East Europe. All youth NGOs can request to have their
name,
contact information etc. put into the database, which in turn is
used by
youth NGOs from all of Europe who are interested in finding
partners in
