Papa Kristo Negovani 
February 12, 1905, died Papa Kristo Negovani, patriot clergyman and writer, who worked hard for Albanian language, fought for the independence and against the Greek occupation. He wrote several books as: "Shkresetore", "Prishja e Hormores", "I vogli donat argjendi", "Istori-shkronja e plikatit", etc. Greek chauvinists persecuted and slaughtered him and his brother to the death.
