Dear all,

ALBSA is planning on holding a workshop for albanian students who are
currently applying (or thinking about applying) to colleges either as
first years or as transfers. Some of us have informally shared our college
experiences with students, and we're hoping to provide better and more
useful answers via this workshop.

Here are some things we can go over:
- questions about colleges/universities. Where should you apply.
- application reviews. We'll look over your completed application and
essays and offer our opinion if you'd like.
- financial aid. What are your options.
- college interviews. How to best prepare for them. etc. etc.

At this point we are unsure as to how many people would be interested in
such an event and if they are what dates would be best for them, so we
have chosen three possible ones:

Friday, November 23.
Saturday, November 24.
Sunday, November 25.

If you would like to attend please send me a personal e-mail so I can get
a general idea about the level of interest, and specify the date most
convenient for you.

Also, I want to extend an invitation to those of you who have been through
the college application procedure. Please send me an e-mail if you can
come and help in any of the dates specified above. We need you!!

If there is enough interest, I'll send an e-mail early next week with the
date, time and location of the workshop. I'll also include the names and
school of expertise of the mentors.
