Cathedral Honored by The Bostonian Society

The Saint George Cathedral Foundation is pleased to announce that "The
Bostonian Society" has selected our church for distinction as a notable
Boston landmark. As such, a special plaque has been installed on a
granite stantion in front of the church to inform tourists and passersby
of this honor. The Bostonian Society is a respected organization of
architects, historians and scholars whose purpose is to foster greater
awareness of our city's exceptional history.  This latest award
accompanies similar recognition to The Cathedral by the United States
Department of the Interior in Washington,. D.C., the Massachusetts
Historical Commission and Historic Boston, Incorporated.

On Sunday, November 19th at 1 pm, the Cathedral Foundation hosts a
Reception honoring the completion of Phase One of our Restoration
Project.  All Donors and interested friends of this ongoing endeavor are
