RODERICK BAILEY, historian at the University of
Edinburgh, is writing a book about British commando
operations in  Albania  during World War II and is
seeking our help.
 
'I would like to hear from any of your readers who may
be able to provide personal experiences in  Albania 
of Allied personnel, of all ranks and whether staff or
operational,' he says.
 
'I'd be especially interested to hear from former
servicemen who served in that country or flew RAF
special operations flights or otherwise had experience
of  Albania  in 1943-45.'
 
We will happily pass any messages on.
