15 illegal Kurds and their guide caught in Gjirokastra


TIRANE, March 18 (ata) - The police of the district of
Gjirokaster caught on Friday evening 15 illegal Kurds,
local police Sources told ATA on Saturday.
According to them, Decka, 38, resident in Jergucat of
that district, is suspected to be the organiser of the
men-smuggling for his own profit.
Police accompanied the Kurds to the police
commissariat for further verifications.
A week ago, police of Gjirokastra seized 8 people,
who, in cooperation with one another, had organised
for several times the trafficking with illegal Kurds.
This is the second case for this year that suspects
for organisation of man-smuggling are caught, while,
according to statistics of police, there is a
considerable fall of the influx of illegals aiming to
reach the Italian coast.
