<center><font size=+2 color=red> ALBSA-Info: Albanian Student Association </font></center> The ALBSA e-mail list was created to uphold the constitutional goals of the Albanian Student Association. ALBSA is a non-profit organization without political or religious affiliations. Its existential goals are the following: - to promote Albanian culture, history and traditions, - to organize and unite students of Albanian descent and those interested in Albanian culture, history, and traditions, - to provide support and role models for Albanian students, - to become involved in causes of concern to the Albanian people, - to establish and maintain connections with other groups of similar interests and goals throughout the world. The ALBSA e-mail list has an informative character. We welcome: - any news releases related to Albanians wherever they are, - news related to problems and concerns of the Albanian nation, - international news of interest to Albanians, whether directly, or in principle, - relevant job, scholarship, or fellowship postings, - announcements related to Albanian cultural events. The moderating commission prefers that you express any concerns related to posted messages to the list member that has sent that particular message. However, if the need for a public reply is felt, the reply should be limited to the argument contained in the message, without any reference whatsoever to the identity of the author. ALBSA is an e-mail list for people with real identities only. No messages will be accepted from sources of anonymous or concealed identity. The moderators reserve the right to reject messages that are: - irrelevant - of poor taste - offensive to other list members. We hope not to have to reject anything. If we need to, we will try to provide a reason for the rejection. Whenever possible, please express yourself in English. Many list members have difficulty reading Albanian. Of course, this does not mean that you should refrain from sending an interview of Kadare, Surroi or Xhaferri to the list, just because it is not in English. To post a message to all the list members, send email to albsa-info@alb-net.com. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to ALBSA-Info
Subscribe to ALBSA-Info by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
