THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SENT THE ALBANIAN PEOPLE MESSAGES OF SUPPORT. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

--

I challenge the Serbian news media to deny what I just saw on one of your web
pages. The Serbian people know what is going on, how could they not? They own
computers too. I say to the Yugoslavian government: BEHOLD THE FURY OF THE
UNITED STATES AND THE REST OF THE FREE WORLD! RE-EVALUATE THE PROSPECT OF KOSOVO TO EVER BE PART OF YUGOSLAVIA, AUTONOMOUS OR OTHERWISE. BEHOLD THE VENGANCE OF ALBANIAN VICTIMS. AS AN AMERICAN, I AM PROUD TO AVENGE THE BRUTAL DEATHS OF YOUR PEOPLE. I AM PROUD MY TAX DOLLARS ARE BEING SPENT THAT WAY.
YUGOSLAVIA: "YOU'VE GOT MAIL!!!"

I love you all and I pray for you. We'll get you your land back. We'll see to
it the Serbs pay a price they'll regret for all time...

Your American Brother,

Chris

I saw your pages and read and saw the horrible pictures. I heart truly hurts
for those people and especially those beautiful children who have lost their
families and many their own lives. I am a mother of 5 children and I can't
believe in the 20th century this barbaric senseless killings of villages and
people are still happening like this. My sources are limited but if I can do
anything please let me know.
I keep these people in my prayers.

It's unimaginable to put myself in your position, much less know what,
from my 62 years. it is like. But, we are all praying for this to be
over soon, and the ability of everyone to rebuild their homes and lives.

Hopefully, someday historical hatreds will be a thing of the past, and
differences among human beings will be welcomed, instead of despised
throughout the world.

I AM CHRISTIAN . . . but I allow each his or her own way to God. Jesus was
non-violent/non-judgemental/tolerant and KIND. These people, who did this to
the Albanians KNOW NOT THE CHRIST!!!

The World must pay. The Human Race must learn to LOVE, or FALL . . . forever.

I am sorry. I will post this to my website. I HOPE AND PRAY FOR LOVE IN THE
WORLD. I AM OBVIOUSLY NAIVE.

GOD BLESS YOU . . . AND US . . . and may DIVINE INTERVENTION BRING JUSTICE TO
THIS CORRUPT WORLD!

The Serbian murderers will never kill your resolve and desire for freedom, Kosovars! My thoughts are with your scattered people. Good will always overcome evil, and so it will be with your struggle. I hope Serbia pays dearly for their crimes against humanity.
Good luck to you all.

Hi --

Thank you for your extraordinary site.

I have a specific suggestion. Your article, "Russian viewers finally
see case for Nato", reprinted from the April 6th Moscow Times, strikes me as
an extremely significant piece of news, which has NOT yet been covered by
American news media. It's significant because it (hopefully) marks the
beginnings of a change in Russian attitudes and politics re: Serbia.

I've emailed a copy to ABC news. But I would STRONGLY urge to send
copies of this to other media, with the comment that this piece of news: 1)
does not seem to be covered (yet) by the media; and 2) as potentially major
implications for the war in Kosova.

Sincerely, John Greenhalgh

Letter to Bill Clinton:
Milosevic is a Son-of-a-bitch, and that you have to be a meaner Son-of-a-bitch, to beat him. The reality of that has not changed. You know Bill, this is one hell of a war? The Congress and Senate go on vacation. We only have ninety missils left, and now it takes us three to four weeks to move twenty-four Apache Helicopters into action. Who's in charge? Time is not on your side. Big problems, and you know it, could develope in Montenegro. In the next thirty-six hours, you, and I'll even include NATO, better bomb "The Fossil Fuled Electrical Plants in Belgrade and throuhout Yugoslavia." Then at midnight the Orthodox Christian practice of lighting a candle at midnight on Saturday night to welcome the beginning of Easter will be the only light they have. Once you knock out the electrical power the people will not want to use the bridges to cross the river, because without electricity they will have no job to go to. The same force that runs Yugoslavia is the same force that runs America, and that force is big business and money and when deny big business and people from making money then those Serbs will take care of Milosevic for you. If you're lucky the bombing will kill a thousand Serb Soldiers. Knock out "The Electrical Power Plants and the entire Serb population of Yugoslavia of eight million people will be put on a stand still. That is how you win wars Bill.

No religion teaches to kill, rape, pillage. Christianity preaches love
and peace. Islam means peace.

Americans, Muslims, Christians and Jews support the fight for
independent Kosova and wish and pray that peace will prevail for the
refugees and hope the war crimes committed by the criminals of Bosnia
war and Kosova exodus and massacare will be punished by the
international community.

Fight on for freedom, liberty and democracy.

Thank you for the news on internet.
Dear friends of the Kosovo people,

Hang on there, Freedom will ring. God bless you all. NATO has been doing
good job and will do better job. Justice will come.

We sincerely wish you all the best in securing your liberation and own
government. As far as we are concerned there is no substantiation for
the attack from the Serbs on your homes. We think they have very short
memories of President Tito who rallied the whole of Yugoslavia against
the Germans in World War II and succeeded. He must be saddened by the
current events. It looks as if nobody has truly learnt from that
catastrophe.

As Westerners we are shocked that this ethnic cleansing of such is still
around after 50 years. Hopefully this will be the end and the fascists
will realise the world will not tolerate this regime.

May peace prevail. Our thoughts are with you...

I am an American Christian living in Phoenix Arizona, USA, and would
like information on how I may "adopt" a family in Albania that has taken
in families of Kosovar refugees, in order to help them help their
brothers and sisters. I am prepared to send boxes of food, infant
needs, basic medicinal needs, hygien products, radios, batteries, toys,
and other needed items on a monthly basis until the need is no longer
there. I have made donations to MercyCorps, but I want to do more as an
individual. This Milosovic creature is an aberration of nature, and
anyone who supports him is a monster. God Bless Albania for their
support of their Muslim brethren. How do I get individual relief boxes
to Albania? Is there an organization I can contact here? I am greatly
frustrated, and would really appreciate a response. I am prepared to
send cooking utensils, high protein food such as canned meats, nuts,
dried fruit, vegetable oil, flour, yeast, salt, spices, rice, sugar,
beans, lentils, macaroni, soups and candy treats, coffee, tea, and
chocolate, cigarettes, pedialyte and distilled water. Please help me do
this small part to save the lives of a few of the victims of Serbian
barbarism. As a human being and a child of God and Allah I cannot stand
by and do less than my utmost to help. I am willing to work overtime at
my job and send my extra earnings to an Albanian family to help them in
their efforts of aid to the refugees. Thank you....

There are many, many things to make one cry when watching news reports
of your country. But one that really made me cry was to see what
beautiful people you are.

Here were so many people - exhausted, sick, starving, grieving,
traumatized beyond what I can even imagine - patiently waiting in line
to be served chicken by NATO soldiers, who were so impressed by their
politeness. Men who brought their grandmothers many miles to the border
in wheelbarrows. People who had every right to criticize the bombing for
forcing them from their homes but instead said that they were glad
someone cared about them.

I really would like to think that Americans would behave as well in
crisis - but I doubt it.

I'm TERRIBLY sorry. I don't know what else I can say.

Assalaamualikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatoh,

Hello, I am a Muslim by Indian birth and a United States citizen.
I have been following the events in Kosovo very closely. My local
Masjid will be holding a fund raiser to raise money for more Aid for
the Kosovo refugees.

Please, I am confused, frustrated and angry that I have not seen
nor heard of any significant Aid sent by the Islamic countries
throughout the world. Do you know of any Islamic country aside
from Irans 30 tons of food & material that has come yet? And please,
I wish to know why more has not been done by Saudi Arabia, Kuwait,
Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Morocco, Lybia, Syria, etc.

It is the DUTY of every Muslim to come to the Aid of another Muslim!
And it is equally important to come to the Aid of ANY HUMAN in such
a case. It is painful and shameful for me to see Nonmuslims giving
much more aid and assistance than my Muslim brothers and sisters.

Please tell me how I could help. I will be contributing tomorrow
(Friday April 9, 1999), but I wish to know how I may contact someone
within these Islamic countries I mentioned above.

My second concern is regarding the handling of some of the refugees.
I have heard from reliable sources that certain Christian Relief
agencies have been handing out Bibles and Bible literature along with
the blankets to small Muslim children. In addition, some have said that
the smallest of children are being seperated from their parents and
grandparents. I do not want the same thing to happen as it did in
Bosnia, where hundreds of small Muslim Bosnian children were sent to
european christian orphanages.

I am trying my best to urge my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters to
take action IMMEDIATELY!! In addition I urge all Islamic nations to
contribute not only to the refugee crisis but also assist in helping
reaching the independence for Kosovo!

InshALlah, there will be peace!! InshALLAH!

Sincerely,
Ibrahim Siddiqui

I started to write another letter of support to the Albanian people, they
are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. We support everything NATO, the
United States, and all other countries involved in this crisis, are doing. I
can't believe how many different countries have pulled together to help the
exhiled Albanian people of Kosovo, to see this happening is incredibly
wonderful.

Your website is a God send to me, I can learn even more of what's going on
with these beautiful people and understand the history of what's happened to
them in the past. Your site lends a way for those that want to be able to
send words of hope as well as seeing the devastation to the Kosovar Albanian
People in true words and pictures. When I clicked on the link to the Serbian
posts, I expected thier foul language, they've sent me messages on ICQ in
the past with the same kind of vile ignorance for language. What bothers me
the most is that by allowing them to post messages on this website, you are
giving them another forum to spread thier hate, ignorance, murderous vile
threats to whomever they choose. I would ask that you consider my request
that they not be able to post on this site, please? Even though I know
thier post probably add to even more realization of what thier empty hearts
are made of, I think we are fortunate to have the information that you post
and I for one appreciate it all so that I can know what's going on. The
Serbs & Milosevic are not important to me, none of thier words can change
what we know to be the truth....

Thank you again for your website.

I support your autonomy or independence.

Hello. Everytime I reffer to TV news or Newspapers concerning Kosova, I really worried about all Albanian refugees and people still remaining in Kosova. I am Japanese and I used to live in London about three years ago. I had great friends who are Albanian from Kosova. They were just my brothers. I couldn't give them my address when I got back to Japan. I am trying to contact them, however nobody knows where they are at the moment. I even don't know whether they are still living in Britain or not. I desperately would like to know where they are. Could you advise me any good way to find them please? I am really worried about my albanian brothers' safety. I deeply hope world peace as early as possible.

Hi,

I'm a Chinese and was not very clear with what happened in Kosovo at the
beginning and I opposed NATO's air attack to Yugoslavia the first few days
because I thought that Yugoslavia was a sovereign nation and it shouldn't be
attacked if it didn't invade other countries. However, when later I knew
that President Milosevic had been doing ethnic cleansing to those Kosovo
Albanian people, I changed my mind. Killing people is a severe crime, it
must be stopped by all means. We couldn't stand aside and watch those
innocent Albanian being massacred just because Kosovo crisis is Yugoslavia's
inner affair. We couldn't allow the tragedy of Jews in World War II happen
again. Now I fully support NATO's air attack and I hope President Milosevic
will be punished by what he has done one day.

Now that NATO is finally targeting the Serbian propaganda machine,
namely Serb TV, isn't it about time that U.K. authorities shut down the
main Serbian propaganda website on the Internet,
http://www.serbia-info.com
Especially since it's maintained and operated out of the U.K.? I did not
want to embarrass any particular govt. dept., but I feel I have no
choice since I have had no response from Scotland Yard.

Hi,

For most of this decade Mr Milosovic has terrorised the people of the
Balkans. When he sacked Sarajevo the world stood by, watched and did
nothing. So close and so soon after the horrors of World War II it
happened again and nothing was done.

I hope NATO action will put an end to this onslaught on your people and
they may return to their homes. All of my best wishes to your people.

Dear Sirs,

I just want to let you know what are the last and
most important news of French decisions for trying
to help Kosova refugees :

Since yesterday, any one in France can call 2 free
phone numbers, one for any kind of gift, (food, clothes,
medications etc.), and one to offer to welcome refugees
in French family houses...

The success of this operation is higher than expected,
and all concerned organisms have to re-organise their
duties, to be able to answer to such support !

1/ In all French food stores, people are collecting food
and at least 4 on 5 customers did buy a full bag of food ;
in all post-offices, anyone can take a free postal box to
send clothes, and the inventory of these boxes did fly so
quickly in certain places, than there were no more available
ones after only few hours...

This represents already ton's of stuff collected within less
than 1 day, and many people are freely helping now to
crate all this merchandise and load it in trucks leaving
France immediately.

2/ Concerning refugees welcoming, 1st of all it has been
clearly mentionned that it would be offered only to people
freely requesting this help, no question to oblige anyone
to come into France...
Within only the first 4 hours of opening this free phone line,
110.000, (one hundred and ten thousand), French families
did offer to receive refugees in their house, a lot of them being
not rich and even almost poor people, but all feeling wholly
sticked together with Kosova population.

Today, we need 3 times more persons to answer to these calls,
the switchboards have been completely saturated !

Many other initiatives are taken everywhere, I shall only mention
one of them, which a nice example of what's happening here :

In a French labolatory producing vitamins, a woman did request
the managering to make a gift of as much tubes than possible.

This managering did decide to offer 1 million of tablets, but
explained than they could not support the financial charges of
making them, but that they could take in charge the necessary
materials...
100% of the employees did agree to work freely on next saturday,
(tomorrow, normaly a day of rest), to produce these 1 million of
tablets, and did mention that they would work until late in the night
if necessary, until they have completely finish this production.

Just expecting that these small gestures will be enough to give a
little drop of comfort to our brothers from Kosova,

I look forward to know if I also can do anything particular for you ?

Daniel BERTRAND

I have just viewed photos from Recak 16 January 99, why have none of these
reached the front pages of major papers worldwide. These should be
exclusives!!! telling the world something must be done, when were they shown
on CNN or Sky news?!!!

The one thing that can make a major difference in this conflict is as much
photo and video footage of the atrocoties from Kosovo being made public. Is
any one in there now with a view to bring out new evidence for the wotrld to
see, and so at a later date bring those responsible to trial.

Bismillah al-Rahmaan al-Rahim
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Assalaamun Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuhu. I would like to say
that the people and refugees of the Kosovar region are in my heart and
prayers. It pains me to see my fellow brothers and sisters in Islam
having to go through these atrocities. May Allah grant them the will and
strength to make it through this for Allah will surely look out for those
who keep Him in their hearts.

I am disgusted that no Muslim nation is making an effort to help their
brothers and sisters. May God help NATO squash the evil regime of the
psycopathic bastard Slobodan and return these good people back to their
homelands. Once again may Allah grant the Kosovars sabr and a peaceful
homeland for centuries to come.

Slobodan and his cohorts will surely get their just do in the Hereafter.

In spite of all the human suffering, some things about the present crisis
are postive:

- NATO finally attacked. This means Milosovic will loose much of his
possibility to launch further wars.

- Kosova will soon be independent. Without a doubt.

It is only tragic that innocent people have to pay with their lives to
accomplish a future in peace for the Kosova people.

We will never forget the crimes of the Serbian government. We will never
forget the inhumane treatment given to the deportees by the Macedonian
government. We will never forget Russia'sd silence visavi the Yugoslav war
crimes. We will never forget many intellectuals' silence visavi the
Yugoslav war crimes. And finally, on the contrast, we will never forget the
noble way Albania, the poorest country of Europe, has responded. This
crisis has really taught us a lot.

Hi, I am myself an Albanian and I really enjoy reading at the support site. It's unbelievable how much support the Albanian nation receives in these hard days. Messages from the whole world, all continents... It boosts the moral of our suffering people. Even with the huge TV coverage the Kosova Crisis is getting threw the media, for a westerner it's very hard to understand how hard did the Albanians live under the brutal dictatorship of Milosevic. Thank God the International community decided enough was enough. Milosevic has drawn bad this time!!!!!!!!

I am convinced that the key to success for the Albanians in Kosovow is a
worldwide campaign to explain just how long they have continuously
inhabited the area. One US Congressman said that native Albanians have
occupied the Balkans for "10,000 years". If that is true the world
should know it. Right now the Serbs have the world convinced that the
Muslims took Kosovow from them 600 years ago and they are now just
taking it back. Obviously the story is much more complicated.

Best wishes for a satisfactory outcome to this horrific crisis.

Hi there, It seems incredible that 50 years after The Holocaust, the same thing is happening again in Europe. I look at those young Serbs showing defiance at the anti-NATO concerts in Belgrade and wonder, can they really believe that they are right? Can they really believe that they have a right to murder, burn, rape, massacre and commit crimes of ethnic cleansing on every square metre of land on which a Serb has ever lived? Or perhaps they are just ignorant and ill-informed about the outside world? It's not an issue for joking about but I do feel like checking to make sure that the previous owner of the house I live in wasn't a Serb - just in case he feels like coming back........ I think Kosovo should be independent or should unite with Albania. The leadership in Belgrade clearly lacks even the most basic values of a civilised society.

Alb-Net Response: When The New York Times was asked to print those photos they said that they could not print them because they are "too graphic."

Words cannot express how I feel about what is happening in Kosovo, so all I can say is that you are not forgotten and people are doing whatever they can to help, even though at times we cannot do much . If you have any suggestions about what we can do I am sure there are many who will be glad to follow them. We want to help but feel helpless , for now we give money to the AID charities and try to tell our government to do more . But I feel it is not enough .

To my brothers and sister who are frightened and suffering, I can only pray for you and offer to you this truth. This is OUR world..yours and mine. We should all be able to travel, live on and explore this planet in peace because it belongs to us. We're all hanging on by the chance of gravity...that's what keeps us from tumbling away. I cannot understand why people cannot look one another in the eye and think.."Hey, here's another Human Being...." Then say, through smile or gesture, " We have something in common. Let's try to share what we know.." How I wish it could be so simple and easy. Please have faith and know this, your God/my God, whomever or whatever it may be, will be coming back to kick some butt. Someday there will be peace for all of us. Then we'll have a chance to talk and share. You are in the prayers of millions of Americans. We do not want to see others suffer. God be with you.

As I browse through the internet I come across many links into the Kosova network that was set up by my fellow brothers and sisters. I only sympathize with the ongoing atrosocities. I have two sons and their future and heritage has been altered. My father spoke of this when I was growing up never in my wildest dreams would I surmise that this would happen to Albanians. Maybe I was blinded with hope of strong Albanian heroes of yester year like the ones I read about or heard from our folklore songs. Not to say that these victims at the hands of the Serbian army are not Heroes they are more than heroes; they are, as ironic as it is, our salvation. Their bravery says it all. I pray every minute that God will shine light on my people and cast the demons out of Kosova. My prayer goes out to all.

to Whom It May Concern:

My husband and I may have devised a method to help reunite families torn
apart during their flight from Kosova if one is not already in place. This
system would utilize onsite laptops hooked into a central system. Who would
we direct this inquiry to; my husband believes that this system could be
functioning within 48 hours.

I am a 13 year old boy and I know that I am way smarter than those moronic
Serbs. I mean what's the deal with this? I think that they should let the 3
army men that are POW's set free. They were just fighting in what they knew
was right. Its not right to just kill off a race, Hitler tried that and look
what happened to him, he committed suicide. We are supposed to be civilized
people now, I mean back in the days when rodents carrying plagues went
around we weren't that civilized, but the year is 1999 people, we need to
clean up our act, instead of fighting get some treaties in there! What do you
get by fighting? The answer is dead bodies, bodies of children's fathers or
mothers. How would you like it if someone just came up to your parents and
killed them, you wouldn't like it. So I ask of you, please STOP the
violence!!!

Hello !! I am an Canadian Italian who has been watching in absoloute horror at the recent events coming out of Kosova. I feel totally helpless and my only comfort comes from hearing whatever reports of success arise such as NATO gains and or Koslo Albanian aid efforts. Of course my heart goes out to the innocent Serbs under attack but I honestly feel that under the circumstances It can not be helped and am confident that collateral damage is minimal. The Serbian people are in the unfortunate position of being led by a murderous thug and through his evil powers is able to poison the minds of his country men either by force or manipulation. As for any Serbians out there that may be reading this and I know that you are I can appreciate your plight and your desire to be void of NATO bombings but for the most part your fight should not be with the NATO allies and or supporters but with your captors (Your criminal govenment). Use your enegy intelligently and with some human compassion, help yourself by denouncing your own government if safe to do so. For those Pro-Serbs such as the ones I hear all the rhetoric from in the media, the ones that have deep-rooted hatred I read letters from and especially those that live in Free-Canada and protest in our streets against NATO without the slightest mention of or any acknowledgment of atrocities.... this is a cruel joke,... one that is akin to Anti-Semitists who call the Holocaust a hoax.... your time is running out and you hardly make a claim for yourselves. Any support you may have had is being diminished rapidly and if anyhing re-emphasize the need for NATO action. Hang on, Koslo Albanians and Sebian victims of circumstance, ... evil never persists and will be ovecome. To all those Non-Serbs (anti-NATO ) supporters who do not believe in interference in a soveriegn states affairs..... wake up and go purchase a dollars worth of brains, two bucks worth of heart ... this is a f****** massacre ... you will see in time and once again you will hear the words (Never again....) .... our planet can not afford this level of stupidity ... if you cant see through this mess than get the hell out of the way and let the assistance come from those that can help... you are blocking the ambulance's path with your wreckless bleeding heart moronic mindsets. I pledge and commit to support in anyway that I can ...... GOD BLESS YOU ALL !!!

Dear Kosova Crisis Center:

I am a history teacher from the United States. I teach US and Texas History
to twelve to fourteen year-old students.

I have always deplored war and as a history teacher have tried very hard to
ensure that my students are aware of the crisis' and intolerable acts that
often result from warfare.

I have been keeping up with your plight and am trying to teach some of the
milder details to my students. However, it is often too difficult to
describe your situation as I find myself choking with tears at the thought of
the atrocities and the tales of terror committed against your nation's people.

Your country's tragedy is unbelievable as we approach the new millennium. It
reeks of atrocities committed in wars fought early in our century or even
centuries before. Your grief, pain, and suffering weighs heavily on my mind
as I watch it on the news and seek information via the Internet.

I am an avid researcher. I have a web site at http://educations.hypermart.net
If there is any way that I can help you via the Internet, PLEASE contact me
and I will be happy to devote whatever amount of time necessary to aid you.
I will be happy to set up web sites including possibilities for email
exchanges and anything else that you may think of.

My prayers, thoughts, and tears are with you.

Sincerely,
Sheryl Carr
