Please can we help!
We will gladly take in a family with young
children until this crisis is over. I have been in tears watching those
little children and their families. We have room for a Family of 4or5.
--
Hello,
I have considered deeply a decision to try and adopt a child or
children
(possibly siblings) who have lost their families in this war. I do not know
exactly how I might go about doing this. I can provide any information you
might need and references from my employer and parish priest. For the
moment I can tell you that I am 45 years old, very well educated (two
masters degrees with near completion on a doctorate), and am a very
responsible, loving, single mother of one child, a boy who is ten years old.
I live in a modest home in Texas and am willing to relocate in order to
accomodate a larger family's needs. Could you please give me further
directions regarding the matter of adoption.
Thank you for your assistance.

My family and I live in England, and I hope that this message will reach someone
who can help us.
Last year we sent parcels to children in Kosovo, and one from our 4 year old daughter
Georgina reached a little girl called Marigone Kastrati. She is 7 years old and lives with
her family and 38 refugees at:
<address withheld>
She wrote a letter to us, enclosing a picture of herself. We were so pleased to get this
letter, but now
we are desperate to know if she has been affected by the crisis. We want to send her
another parcel, so if
anyone who gets this e-mail can tell us how to contact her, and if her area of Pristina
has been hit by the
crisis, we will be very grateful for any information.
Please reply, if you can.

Milosovich is an anti-christ, like Hitler. The fact that he has turned
his army into mass murders, rapists and thieves and that he has somehow
seduced his own people into believing that the atrocities committed
against your people are legitimate, proves it. Unfortunately, he is
also very cunning. I hope that our leaders in the U.S. and NATO have no
illusions of the type of man they are dealing with. He will exploit
every opportunity they give him, like when he used the time of the peace
talks to mass his 40,000 troops in Kosova. Nobody expected that he
would carry out the genocide and the ethnic cleansing with the whole
world watching. We over-estimated him. He is evil, and his brutality
shocked the world. He has brought shame on his own people and on those
who support him and make excuses for his actions. His attempts now
peace negotiations mean nothing. His words and his promises mean
nothing. He needs to be removed from power so that he can never hurt
anyone ever again. Ultimately good triumphs over evil. God is on your
side. The whole world is with you, and we in the U.S. are fighting for
you.
Blessings and peace,
Faith, U.S.A.

I wish to let you know of my support and my simpathy for the strong and
noble people of the Kosovo province. I am moved by the horrible pictures
and news arriving here from your land. I am a college professor in

I run a graduate institute for the humanities called The Daystar
Commission, and one of our projects that we would like someone to
take on is the Academic Humanitarian Network (HUMANET). We confer
the PhD degree for substantial humanitarian projects, and this one
has been approved for doctoral work. This project is open to
English-speaking graduate students or adults over 35 years of age, in
the US or any other country. If anyone who is looking at these
emails is interested in doing something right now that may assist the
Kosovo refugees in a substantial way, please see our web site at

Challenge Projects for more details. You may also be interested in

I feel so helpless and so bad. I sit here in my safe home and laugh
with friends and family and having a very good Easter, and yet on the other
side of the world dozens of people are dying each day from a "war" going on.
In my history class we are having to write a Current Event about what is
happening over seas. I have read so many disturbing articles about the
shooting and everything else that is happening. Reading the stories has
stunned my fellow classmates and me and keep us asking why this is happening.
While I question why this is happening, I can't help but act selfish and
thank God that it is not me having to sit in my room and wonder if I will be
next. I also fear that my own relatives will soon be putting their lives on
the line in Kosvo. I wonder why the United states always has to step in and
risk our own men's lives, but I have learned to realize that if a country
possesses the power and strength of several countries put together, than why
shouldn't we help out one another in times of need.
Best of wishes and prayers,
Kristen

to each of you as your strength is being tested to
its ultimate ability. The heartbreak of losing your country, your homes and your families
is something none of us can understand, but the pictures that are shown day by day have
touched the hearts of Americans. I hope that someday in the very near future you will be
able to smell fresh air again, drink fresh water and the healing process can begin. Bobbye

You have an
informative website. Why is Kosovo spelled Kosova on the Home Page but Kosovo elsewhere?
Alb-Net Response: Kosovo is the
Serbian spelling while Kosova is the way 90% of its population - which is Albanian -
spells it.
--
Could you please send me a clearer definition of "ethnic cleansing" I
know the dictionary definition, but I would like to know how this term
applies to the situation in Kosovo. Are these people being killed
because of their religion or their race, and what is their race and
religion?
And what is the race and religion of those killing them?
Thank You
Alb-Net Response: Albanians in Kosova are mostly Muslim, but there is a significant number
of Catholic Albanians as well, so this Serbian aggression can be defined as 'ethnic
cleansing' because it does not discriminate between Muslim and Catholic Albanians, it is
equally harsh to both of them.

NOW,enough is enough. How can we as Americans, human beings, stand by and
bomb like that is going to do it. As much as I don't like to see any loss
of life, it had to be obvious from the beginning that this clown could care
less about human life. It's time NOW to go in with troops, kick this clown
out, protect the Kosova people, rebuild, and ask God for forgiveness for
sitting on our hands with our eyes closed. From one American forgive and
remember we will be there.

My heart goes out to all of the people suffering in
Kosovo during this crisis. To think that such inhumane treatment could occur in
contemporary times is horrifying. I wish there is some way I could help. My husband and I
would open our home and our hearts to victims of this disaster. I have just contacted the
International Red Cross asking them how we Americans can give refuge to these homeless
victims. ( http://www.icrc.org/unicc/icrcnews.nsf/DocIndex/home_eng?OpenDocument) I hope they are not too busy to answer. If I

interested in a translation dictionary so that i may communicate with our guests. It would

where i could get one? Also could you tell me the language that they will be speaking when
they arrive? I know the official language Serbian, but will they be speaking Serbian or
Albanian? I thank you for your time, and hope that you will help me.

HI, my name is Roberto Rullan and I am a Viet Nam veteran. When young,
I fought for freedom and the future of a country that was (then) under
the potential take over of communism. That was in 1969-70-71. Today,
in the 90's, I see what probably my grandparents saw ---- a country full
of fear as the old Germany was. I pray that peace will soon arrive to
Kosova and that all forced out return to their country. That the
families be back together and that peace (at least) be the real governor
of Kosova.
It is a situation in which the people (the suffering ones) must pay the
price of those who perpetrate the most cruel actions against the people
itself. It is heart-breaking for me to watch the news and to see reports
of young children, old people and families struggling to survive. This
is the 90's in which people shall live with others of kind and the
opportunity to have a family being raised in peace, harmony and unity.
The NATO attacks are welcome in my heart and they shall be a signal to
the world that actions like the one now in Kosova will not be tolerated.
Keep together and keep in peace and God will protect you from "evil".

After going through SOME of the photos of atrocities (and I could not bear
to go on seeing anymore), I am convinced that while we do not wish to see
U.S. ground forces in Serbia, we have to go nuclear and erase these bloody
savages from civilization. The creatures responsible for these crimes
against humanity are, without doubt, the face of pure evil.
If we had any doubt that winning the Cold War was anything less than an
absolute necessity, look at these photos and know with certainty that this
is the shared intention which the Soviets had for the American People had
the Soviets dominated the United States.
Nuke 'em Mr. President!

The news organizations are reporting that Serbs have closed the borders and
are sending refugees back into the interior of Kosovo.
After all the murder, burning, raping, and robbery, does anyone really
believe the Serbs will be giving weary refugees food, medicine or shelter?
All that is going to happen is that tens of thousands, even hundreds of
thousands, will die. Even worse, they will die anonymously because they will
be out of the view of the world press. YOU NEED TO SEND IN PRESS TEAMS TO
SHOW THE WORLD WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THOSE PEOPLE. THE U.C.K. NEEDS TO
IMMEDIATELY ATTACK INTO KOSOVO TO TRY TO HELP AS MANY OF THOSE REFUGEES
ESCAPE AS IT CAN.
--
As I have watched the news broadcasts from Canada
& the US, I have become saddened that these actions have occurred far too many times
in this century. I would have thought by now the we the people of this planet could
recognize the initial signs of matters such as this by now. We can go to the moon, date
rocks to nearly the day they were formed but we cannot stop these actions from starting! I have the greatest
sympathy for the innocent people caught up in the middle of these outrageous crimes. It
not their fault that they were born who or where they are! The people that punish them for
the fact of race or religion or any other character of humanity should hold there heads in
shame and not be able to call themselves HUMAN!! I have the greatest respect for the people willing to
sacrifice the own live to stand up to these BARBARIANS to safeguard the rights of others
even though they may loose there own lives! Even if there is no real conclusion to this
crisis for another 700 years they can hold there heads proud to who they are for
withstanding this terrible situation. The world media is telling us that NATO is bombing or helping
set up tents or supplying medical needs. They are so very wrong. It is they very
individuals who have made conscious decisions to enroll in their countries military
establishments, that have loved one at home worrying about them. These people are putting
themselves in harms way to carry out what they feel is morally right! Maybe the media can
do some good by focusing on the individuals who are living in tents in the cold, showing
more that 5 seconds of there lives. If the media showed what the struggles of day to day
life are for these people, getting food, collecting water or even looking for a few
sticks of wood to start a fire and showed the rest of the world we would stop and think of
ourselves and place us in there place. We might see what we need to see in our hearts that
these are individuals being preyed upon because they are militarily weak and stop this
from happing again. At the end of W.W.II we as a planet said NEVER, NEVER AGAIN!!,
have we forgotten? To the members of NATO and the UN and all other humanitarian
agencies, keep up the good work as the "hands" of the rest of the civilized
world that want to be there to help but can't!

I hope you can find the strength in yourselves when this war has turned
for the better to not act like the Serbs have onto you. Their lack of
intelligence, hatred, and humanity is unbelievable. The Serb Culture
has really lost the most, it's respect. We all support you and are
sorry for not being able to stop the Serb nationalists from doing this
to the Kosovans. We will continue to support those being unjustly
abused because of culture and religion and hope the world will learn
from this.

As a side issue to this horrific tragedy, surely in the wake of NATO's
support for Kosovar's, other Islamic countries can now clearly see that the
West is not anti-Muslim, but anti-Murder?
I hope that those in Iraq, Libya, Lebanon etc..will learn just one thing
from from this show of solidarity, where christians are in fact fighting
christians - that it is not about YOU, it's about your behaviour. Please
can we all learn something from this?

I have repeatedly been disgusted with fellow humans who commit such terrible
acts of depravity and brutality towards others. I do not support warfare but
in seeing what is being done to the Albanian people how can I not support
the actions of NATO.
The rest of the world should be backing NATO and making this a total world
effort to stop Milosovic.
He can not be allowed to continue and he must be held accountable for what
he is orchestrating.
May all our Gods watch over these people. Help them to survive, give them
courage to keep going and bring about a united world in force against the

The students of the High School of Balmes of Barcelona hope that the

In such dire times for the people of Kosovo I feel quite
pampered, sheltered, and guiltily distant from the scenes of such
unforgiveable crimes, but I could'nt resist the temptation to send you a
message of solidarity. I may be hazarding a wild guess, but was I really
alone in feeling a surge of jubilation the night that NATO's missiles
and bombs started to fall on Serbia ? The architects of systematic
slaughter had long been safe in their Belgrade warrens , they seemed ,
after a decade in the business of wanton destruction, to be strangely
immune from violence themselves. But my initial ploeasure was quickly
dissapated:are the Serbs operating abatoirs for innocent humans in
Kososvo which, right now, are the scenes of undetected savagery on a
scale which might dwarf the horrors of Bosnia ? My heart goes out to the
Albanian Kosavars: let us all hope that a FREE KOSAVA is the result of
such an unforgiveable excercise in genocide !

I am
horrified and disgusted by the mass exodus of hundreds of thousands of Albanian Kosovars
from the land of their birth. We live in New Zealand an island nation mercifully free from
the indignations, atrocities, humiliations and inhumane treatment suffered by your people.
As a normally peaceful person I abhor violence as means to an end, but there are some
cases when, to put it crudely, the guts must be torn from murderous butchers like
Milosevic and their sycophantic, blind, nationalistic followers. It is only through
continued, harsh, relentless bombing AND full mobilisation of French, British, U.S.,
German, Albanian, Kosovar, Macedonian (etc) troops INTO Kosovar, that Kosovo will be
returned to its people and the half million disposessed can return to a land protected by
a strong, resourceful international peace corps. Kosovo must now become absolutely
independent of Serbia. Milosevic and those responsible for genocide MUST be brought to
trial. Through the media and the
internet the world knows that massacres have and are occurring in Kosovo. NATO must
mobilise ground troops with strong air support into Kosovo. I am
doing as much as I can: our family has made a donation to World Vision for the express
purpose of helping Kosovar refugees. When I heard three days ago that Sweden has pledged
to take 15,000 refugees, I was concerned that New Zealand had not made any pledge, so I
emailed our Prime Minitsre Jenny Shipley. Here is the text of my email:
Dear Mrs Shipley
I have just seen the TV report on the NATO airlift from Macedonia and I was concerned
to see that New Zealand has neither been asked nor has made any pledge to give asylum to
Kosovar refugees.
If Norway and Sweden with similar population to ours can take 15,000 we could at least
take 5,000. New Zealand has such strong connections with the Balkans: so many families in
the North and in Auckland have surnames ending in ova and ic, and many pioneers from the
Balkans made a great contribution to this countrys early history. Why have we not made a
pledge? We have a lacklustre record in helping refugees. Let's show that we really care.
I was glad to hear that our government had pledged $200,000 and I trust that many New
Zealanders will contribute at least $20 each as we have done to help avert this
humanitarian disaster.
Apart from our donation, words
are all I have and I know they are insufficient. I hope and pray that you all survive this
ordeal and that the suffering will soon pass. I teach several children from the Balkans
and all of the Balkans students in our secondary school are deeply upset by the events. I
am sure they too are praying for an end to the bloodshed.

Dear Albanian People,
Thank you in the name of all the people in the world for your solidarity
with the refugees from Kosovo.
You gave us the exemple of what Humanity should be. Now is the time for
the European Union and the European Countries to help Albania to support
Kosovo until the refugees can return there freely and in peace.
Is so important that Albania gets economical help and that Kosovo gets
also international finantial support for the reconstruction of the
country, when the peace and the freedom will came
But now we have to express our admiration to the people of Albania an to
the albanians living in Macedonia for their solidarity with the people
of Kosovo, showing us the best of the human being.

Dear ladies and gentlemen,
I am a student from Austria and I came to your site by an article in
"Die Presse", I do not really know what to say then I am ashamed to see
such pictures again, I always believed humankind would learn from the
history of my own country (Germany) but it seems humankind's memory does
not work....
When I see such pics of cruelty I get angry and upset and would like to
get Mr.Milosovic into my hands, I know it is no way to go like "an eye
for an eye" but he really should be set to prison, and then get a death
penalty, usually I am not in favour of it, but there are times one has
to change his mind....
Also I feel like I have to do something, but I do not like to send
money because it is not sure if the people who would need it would get
it, but if there is anything students and "real" humans (M. is a monster
to me and has no right to call himself human anymore) nad all people
from other countries could do so please tell me....
Greetings and blessings and the hope this will find an end soon,

Dear friends in Kosova
We were so impressed with your news - which was not reported at all in
the media - that we made an effort to send it to journalists and
progressive forces all over the world in as far as we are in contact
with them as Israeli peace activists. We hope this is helpful, and we
urge you to send also messages by email. To have it on the site is not
enough. But of course we appreciate that in your circumstances you still
have the energy and the concentration of updating the site with such
gruesome news.
By the way: do you know that the Israeli people are very much on your
side? (In spite of the statements of Foreign Minister Sharon, who rather
likes Milosevic.) Tonight, there is a concert in the central square of
Tel Aviv (Rabin Square) in order to collect contributions for the Kosova
regugees.
Wishing you strength

dear friends--
as an editor by profession, i would highly recommend editing the front
news story carried on your website, "Hundreds of Albanian Women Raped by
the Serb Border Guards". in one of the last paragraphs, the nature of
the antecdote is quite contrary to the rest of the article and should be
edited to reflect the real intent of the article--atrocities by yugoslav
soldiers, not albanian ones.
in that paragraph,
"Risolta Unico, a student from Dajkovica who crossed into Albania in her
slippers, had been spared the rapists because at Qafae Prushit the
border is manned by professional Yugoslav soldiers who maintain a
keen-eyed watch on their Albanian counterparts."
the writing implies that it is the albanian counterparts that are
rapists and should be watched.
thank you for maintaining and regularly updating an informative website

Here is a list of some of the accomplishments of the civilized world.
The Magna Carta, Rule of Law, Automobile, Space Travel, Agriculture,
Multiculturalism, Airplanes, Computers, Scientific Inquiry...
Here is a list of the contributions of 'Great Serbia'.
Ethnic cleansing.
That second list seems pretty short, doesn't it, and the fact is, they
aren't
even original with their invention...
It helps me to understand that pro Serbian e-mail a little better
because they
have to be proud of something, and killing is the only thing they've contributed
to this world in modern times, so I guess PEX and those other ******** have to
boast about the only thing they know--killing.
What an accomplishment. If you ask me, NOT!!!!!
Oh, yeah, Slobodon, I've been looking over my shoulder looking for your
armadas
of airplanes and missiles to appear over the horizon here in Seattle to bomb us
out of existence, but I don't see a thing.
I thought you said Serbia was great?
Oh, yeah, now I understand, you meant Serbia was great at killing, not
'Great'
in the sense that your country is great.
See ya....
In hell..........

Dear People:
My heart is broken as I see your tormented faces and your children crying...I have been
trying to put myself in your places and walk in your shoes for a while. I cannot imagine.
I do not know what can be done, or what I as one person can do to alleviate your pain and
suffering.
There is one thing I can do and that is to talk to The Father for you . He has
everything in control, even though right now it is hard to see. Maybe it is to bring you
as a people back to Him or closer to Him.....
I do not have the answers but I did want you to know the whole world is looking and
crying with you and we feel so completely helpless.... A terrible feeling.
May God bless you in your plight!

Hello Kosovo!
Have courage. Remember, the evil must end. Will end!
Please, let us know about the Relief Organizations here in Canada.
You have listed only those in U.S.A. Would like to help.
Be brave...but hate not!
All the best, heads up, and know in your heart - without a doubt -
you will have, sooner or later, your Independence, too.
The Morgan family
P.S. We expect to visit Kosovars coming to Canada next week.
They will be placed in the former military bases. Mothers with children,
sick and old people. Any suggestions what they might need?
(We will try to see the one nerest us, here in South Ontario.)

I would like to know how I can help a child or family affected by this
massacre. My husband and I have a small apartment but would be willing to
take in a few displaced people, perhaps a widow and her children or a few
orphans. I am sure many other people I know would be willing to do the
same. We could feed and shelter them during this horrific time in their
lives along with love and compassion.
Please let me know as soon as possible. We do not want them to suffer even
more.

Dear people from Kosovo,
me and my friend are horrified, what the serbs doing against the kosovo
people. We are getting our informations from internet and we are so sad and
angry that something like this happens in Europe. A lot of people in the
caribean are interested in that what is happening. They ask what is going
on - so also here in the Caribean the people feel with you and feel your
pain.
We hope that this terrible situation will finish soon. God bless you

People,
It is beyond my ability to understand how an intelligent Christian can
justify killing anyone in cold blood, let alone execute masses. I can only
conclude that they are either stupid, evil or both. I tend to believe the
later is true. I also have a problem understanding world opinions regarding
US bombings. Do they actually believe that the US likes being in this role?
Do they think we like risking our young men's lives for the sake of other
nation's well being? Do they think we are war mongers? We are not! When you
see a brother being murdered and his family exiled - dammit, you react! Where
is the rest of the world? We are the people who are putting it on the line
for our weaker brothers. We don't want appreciation, we don't want praise.
But for God's sake, don't make us the villains!
--
Dear former co-patriates,
I've stroled through recent letters of support to you and also through
those od dirty language - so familiar and not surprising at all. I want
to point out, though: not all the Serbs are like that. You knew that,
and it's important not to forget it as many Croatians unfortunatly did.
We, the peoples of former Yugoslavia will always remain neighbours, so
we have to be able to distinguish right from wrong and guilty from
inocent. It might sound cruel to write these lines to you who have lost
towns and villages, homes and your loved ones - but take it from the
ones' experience.
Don't get me wrong. All my symphaties are with you, and I'm helping the
best I can (I'm a journalist and civil activist), but I'm against war to
start with. War is not a solution, it's a problem and I'm sure that
Albanians from Kosovo are the ones who understand that best - I'm
thinking of almost two decades long tradition of nonviolent, ghandian
protesting of Kosovar against oppresion of serbian goverment. I must
admit, though, that I blame on NATO to start the bombardment, but also
for not engaging troups so far, besause it seems like the only possible
solution of this horror. I would like to ask NATO leaders if they think
lives of their soldiers were more valuable than those of Kosovo
refugees!
I'm sending my love to all of my friends from Kosovo, who are hard or
impossible to contact these days, and to all Kosovars, hoping the peace
comes soon and they ALL get to return to their homes.

Dear people expelled from Kosovo and dear Albanian
people who are helping them! Although a letter by no means can bring
material help it might remind you, that we are at least thinking of you sincerely. For real help we are collecting food, clothes and blankets etc. which
within the next week may hopefully reach you. A truck will leave from Salzburg on Sunday. And I want to tell you, that the children in school too feel with you.
Sometimes they may be cold of heart and ignorant, but this situation touches and reaches
them - at least most of them. They too help to collect goods to support your aid. So we maybe even learn from this crisis: WE CAN MAKE SOMEONE SMILE -

Good day,
Following is another site -- this one from CARE -- dedicated
to the crisis in Kosovo (http://www.care.org).
Particularly useful are the daily news updates, access to CARE
media reps for eyewitness accounts, an online donation form,
and downloadable ad banners for those who cannot support
CARE with a donation.
It's a great, informative resource during the crisis. I hope you
can visit.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need more
information.
Thanks,

CARE Web Site Details Refugee Relief Efforts as
Conditions at Macedonias Border Deteriorate
http://www.care.org/
As tens of thousands of people mostly on foot flood Macedonias
border, CARE distributes bread and blankets and prepares for a
three-month emergency response program. The situation at the
border is in complete chaos, says Jo Hutton, with CAREs relief
team. This was an emergency 48 hours ago, and its more of
an emergency now. Full details of CARE's efforts in the region,
in addition to daily news updates, maps, a secure online donation
form, downloadable ad banners, and media contact information are
available at CARE's Web site at: http://www.care.org
CARE plans to distribute hygiene packs, blankets and
mattresses to refugees in collective centers, shelters and those
living with host families. This project will target approximately
12,000 people in Skopje, Tetovo and Kumanovo. These refugees,
the vast majority of whom are ethnic Albanian, are from a mixture
of small villages and larger towns in Kosovo, including Pristina.
It is anticipated that some of the beneficiaries will be new arrivals,
while others have arrived prior to the March influx and are living
with host families or in temporary accommodations.
In addition to the thousands of refugees who have crossed the
border, approximately 50,000 more have been waiting for days
on a grassy hillside called no mans land. The situation in this
area is really terrible, says Hutton. No shelter or sanitation
facilities exist. People have died, babies have been born and
women have suffered miscarriages, all without medical attention.
Aid agencies are getting supplies to the border as fast as possible.
CARE is trying to move supplies as fast it can because the
emergency need is so high, says Hutton. Some of these people
have been walking for days or been crammed on trains to get here.
The need all the help they can get at this point.
CARE also is planning other relief programs to help refugee families
in Macedonia. They include distributing baby kits and food, and
providing mobile gynecological clinics, education programs for
children in refugee centers and counseling programs for adults
and children traumatized by the experience.
CAREs Karen Robbins returned from Macedonia on Wednesday,
April 7, at Hartsfield International Airport in Atlanta, GA. Robbins was
deployed to Kosovo three weeks ago and was evacuated to Macedonia
just prior to NATO air strikes. Robbins witnessed the influx of refugees
at border crossings, and can describe the conditions. A Real Audio
interview with Robbins is also available online at:
http://www.care.org/info_center/kosovo/kosovo_interviews.html

To all the Muslim brothers and sisters of Kosovo,
My heart goes out to you. I only wish that these atrocities were
just a nightmares.
You must be strong and have faith in Allah. Inshah Allah, the one

life.
As a muslim and an Arab, I know that you must hold on. All Arabs and
Muslims are feeling your pain and are praying for you every minute. We
as muslims have been surpressed and knocked down everywhere we go, but
we must stick together and believe in Allah, only then will we prevail
over evil. May Allah strike Milosovic and his supporters down.
If there is anything I can do, please let me know at the e-mail above.

I am extremely disturbed by the vicious acts of Sebian army and
ignorance
of Serbs in general. Your support and open arms to the refugees makes me
feel there is hope in this cruel world after all. Also, God bless Americans

I have been donating cash to various organization that are supporting the
refugees. I am afraid that is not enough anymore. I am very much interested
in adopting a refugee child who needs a family. I have a three year old son
and I want to give an Ethnic Albanian child from Kosova the same
opportunities
that my son is enjoying. My husband and I are both Moslims living in the

let me know, how I can help.
Please keep this e-mail annonymous.

Dear kosovo Crisis Center,
We are trying to find out how we could donate money to organisations who are
helping the refugee's forced out of Kosovo. We want to organise a small fund
raising event in our locality. So far we have not managed to find any groups
working with this disaster who we can contact in Britain. Can you help?
We want to tell you how much we are shocked at the terrible behaviour of the
Serbian government and that we would like to help in some way. Do you think
it would be of use if we were able to organise a transport of
clothing/supplies? Your advice is awaited.
We send all your people our love.

I am so very proud of your country!!! I know God smiles down on you
because of your GREAT love for one another! I see the faces of the
Kosovors and wish I could take them all into my home, and give them
warmth, food, and emotional support! I know that is not possible, but I
do want to offer financial support to your country. What is the best way
to help you help your brothers and sisters? The USA newspapers list a
number of relief agencies, and we have given some funds to one of them,
but also want to know if your country needs support for its own citizens
who have given so freely to help!

This letter is all the way from Canada. I believe that 5,000
refugee's
are arriving in Canada's CFB Trenton Wing where my father works. This
fight has gone on for too long. It is time to take actions and support
the country of Kosovo. Though I am only 12, and I don't quite understand
what is going on, I do know that lives are in risk, and I to the best of
my ability is trying to help the Kosovars by donating cloths and toys to
them. I fear for the lives of the childrn, and I think it's terrible how
so many people have died and been seperated fomr thier homes and
family's. I'm old enough to understand this universe has rights, and so
do people. I can speak for all of Canada...we are so very proud that we
are able to help this much in the Kosovo Crisis. It is a big thing, and
many, many alot of people are taking action and helping. I wish you
well, Kosovars, god bless you.
Love ,
Renee Ehrenreich
PS I also look forward to your stay in Canada, and I will try to make in
the best.

To your
cause: Since the fourth day of the bombing in
Yugoslavia, I have been pleading with President Clinton to bomb "Fossil Fueled
Electrical Power Plants" in Belgrade and throughout Yugoslavia. Time is not on our
side and although support for the war is gaining, in just a few days that support could
dwindle. To win a war, it must be total war, and not an idealistic war. From an old

wieder Milosevics Hinhaltetaktik erliegen wollte. Diese Hrte war und ist
sinnvoll.
Zivilbevlkerung nimmt katastrophale Ausmae an. Die Lage ist unhaltbar und
kann nicht nur aus der Luft gelindert werden. Der Einsatz von Bodentruppen
wird daher immer unausweichlicher.

God Bless You.

Do not know why but I was unable to see the second set of photos. By the way I
support you and try to counter the hatred in the chat rooms.

The first Kosovo Forum at Town Hall will be Tuesday, April 13, 7-9 pm. at
Town Hall Seattle, Eighth and Seneca, just east of the I-5 freeway across
from downtown Seattle.
We are planning, depending on response and some surprise guests, to meet
each Tuesday at the same time and place. All events will be free and open
to the public.
The first panel is now taking shape. Barry Mitzman of KCTS will be the
main moderator. We expect to have an opening session devoted to some of
the large contexts of the crisis, followed by some audience response.
After the intermission we will reconvene the panel, plus some added
guests, to explore practical implications and opportunities for citizens
to help. Relief agencies are invited to set up tables in the lobby of Town
Hall to give citizens chances to help in the emergency.
The goals of the forums are: to shed expert light on the situation; to
provide a neutral forum for the civil exhange of different perspectives;
to allow citizens a chance to voice their views and ask questions; to
encourage citizens to take informed action and charitable assistance.
Seattle has a long tradition of intelligent citizen diplomacy, and the
city has a wealth of informed internationalists.

Dear Friends - we are in such deep sorrow at your plight - and are very
afraid for your lives and safety. We, here in America, have never known
such terror, hunger, separation from family and loved ones, driven by a
despot from our country by force to another (excepting our beloved Native
American Indians, and African Americans), much less MURDERED because of
either our ethnic ,race, or religous heritage. I cannot even begin to
fathom your suffering - and I have to close my eyes when the innocent
children are shown on American television, because they so remind us of the
agon- izing pictures of the Holocaust of WWII. All we have to offer,
besides contributing to a Relief Organization on your behalf, are the
following: An American President dedicated to your inevitable freedom in
your own country - KOSOVO ! ; a NATO Alliance determined to attain the same
goals, no matter the cost; and OUR own belief, and that of ALL of the
American people, is that YOU TOO are guaranteed the same principles that OUR
country was founded on - Freedom of speech, religion, press, and the freedom
to live our lives as WE choose !! So - rise up! Fight On - and we Americans are with you,
even in the giving of American fathers, husbands, and sons - - Believe it!!
Our prayers and our Same God are with you !!!!
