THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SENT THE ALBANIAN PEOPLE MESSAGES OF SUPPORT. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

--

A lot has been going on in the world that makes life a heavy burden. I feel
sorry for anyone who has to leave all that they have worked hard for in
life because of one person (milosovic or however you spell his name). One
thing rewarding which we all can be sure of is that all evil will be
defeated, and every man will be judged when they stand before God for he is
not asleep. To the people of kosovo, have faith that God will protect you
and keep you, for you are his children, and he will reward you.

Yugoslavia,Serbs, and Albanians because it's part of a reserch project I have
to do. Maybe if you have info. about what web sites to go to because I need

You are our brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, aunts and uncles. You are a part of our lives here in the USA. I sit in front of my television, and in front of my computer, and just cry for you. You are constantly in my thoughts and in my prayers. I hope your strength can carry you through this horrible massacre. You are a strong people. You helped many in WWII with your strength, your food and your shelter. Now it is time that you are helped. Keep praying, an end must be near! My love to you and all your love ones past and present.

I want to send money to help the refugees. What organization do you suggest?
I want as much of my money possible to go towards helping these poor
helpless people.

Thank you.

Peace and Greetings to you...

I am in California visiting my family and will be returning to the state of
Maine on the 13th of April.

I worked in the Bosnian war... was in Sarajevo during the bombing. Was in
the Gulf war. Helped the wounded out of Sarajevo. Worked twelve years in
Rome helping the African refugees with UNHCR and also Caritas Italiana. I
would like very much to go into the area and help with the refugee
problems. I am experienced with working with people who are fleeing from
the war.

Can you tell me if you know of an organization I can link up with?

I am a hard worker and not afraid to live under difficult conditions.

Would apprecialte someone getting back to me. When I get back to Maine I
can send letters of reference about my work in Bosnia, the Gulf War and in
Italy helping the African refugees.

So many people are needing help and since I have worked over in that area I
feel that I could be of assistance. Can you help me find a group that I
can link up with? I would appreciate this very much.

Peace and Blessings,

Sister Pauline Quinn op

I seen the picture of the massacres, and my stomach turned. Humanity is
crying, for those we lose to the brutality of Milosevic. In the hearts
of the Albanian people, there must rise the desire, to put this
brutality to a end. As the people were herded to the border of your
neighboring countries, there were those who stay behind to fight, and
who have lost there lives. When you journey back in to Kosovo, remember
what Milosevic has done, and take up the struggle where your
compatriotes left off. This is what he wanted to accomplish. To destroy
the resistance. As long as you remember, there is hope for your
independance.Nato may be there to police, but it is up to the Albanian
people to create their own identity. There must be a burning desire in
the heart, to overcome these atrocities, and to venture forward, to
create the homes for the young. My heart aches at what cruelity has been
perpretrated on the Albanian people.

Hello,
I'm curious as to why the people are not being allowed to at least cross the
border between Kosovo and Macedonia?
In addition, my news says that the Serbs are forcing some of them back into
Kosovo to use as human shields. Why is this happening?
Bring them all to Kansas-USA. We will gladly make room for them. If
necessary we will pay you to do it............those people deserve as much
as we would expect if we were in the same situation.
Please answer the question of why not let them cross? Please Let them
cross the border.

Alb-Net Response: Taking them to Kansas would accomplish what Serbian President Milosevic wanted to do in the first place, ethnically cleansing Albanians from Kosova. We should not allow that to happen.

I thought you could use this news report for your site.
I hope that all these evil fiends will tried for war cimes soon.

I have been following the news closely over this mass confusion. I keep
seeing these small children there that have lost their parents. What will
happen to these children? There has been news that the United States will
take twenty-thousand of these people in. I know these people do not want to
leave their homeland, but it would be better than what they are living in
now. What can I do to help? I would be willing to take in one of these
children into my home. I am a single mother and have a four year old
daughter. I am very stable and have an excellent job with flexible hours.
Please send me information if there is any on this subject.

As a refugee myself (I am Ukrainian and because of the Russian-Communist
imperialistic policies of Russia towards Ukraine, I have never seen my
home-country, Ukraine and lived for the first nine years of my life in
refugee camps), I am all the way with you, I sympathize with your
refugees and know how they feel right now.
Justice will prevail!
My people, the Ukrainians, suffered 700 years in slavery, yet, today we
are free and an independent nation.
I hope it will not take you such a long time to become free again as it
took us, but keep on believing, because the truth eventually wins, no
matter what.
My symphathy to all of you in the lands of your "dispersal" - don't give
up !
All my best wishes for you,

I just wanted to add my voice in support of your mission and the people of
Kosova. The air-campaign must continue, and hopefully will be followed up
by a ground campaign, until this Nazi-style barbarism of Serbia comes to an
end.

As far as I and many others are concerned, that butcher Milosevic needs to
lose everything. The Rambouillet formula of autonomy for Kosova ought to be
considered as obsolete; the ultimate objective either independence for
Kosova or union with Albania. Nor can we any longer abide that fascist
murderer in power or as a partner in negotiations. The campaign must
continue until all the fascist troops are removed from Kosova. Serbia must
be treated as a pariah state, with throughgoing sanctions and secondary
sanctions against violators, until that regime falls from power. Milosevic
needs to be handed over to the war crimes tribunal along with all his
barbarian cohorts in Serbia. All refugees must be repatriated to Kosova,
with the costs paid for by an indemnity levied upon the Serbian nation.

We must not hate the Serbian people. But like the German people, they will
have to learn the price of supporting this kind of regime. The civilized
world simply cannot tolerate this madness, in the last year of the
twentieth century.

Sincerely yours, with prayers for peace and justice and the survival of
Albanian Kosovars, J. Weeks

Just want you all to know, that the American people are aware of what is
happening and I only wish there was someway I could help directly. I see the
pictures from the refugee camps and my heart breaks. I can't understand how
anyone can watch that misery and not be moved. Nor can I understand how
anyone can do such horrible things. More than that, I want you to know the
Serbs will not get away with burning the bodies to cover what they have done.
I guess they have forgotten about Forensic Anthropologist who can determine
who and what was done even after the bodies have been burned.
You will not be forgotten!
Please somehow make the refugees understand they must leave where they are at
least temporarily in order to be safe. The countries who take them will see
that they are returned to their homes when it is safe. More will die in
those terrible conditions if they don't.
This is one American who believes that no one in that area will be safe
unless the Serb leaders are executed. As long as that man lives, he will be
a threat.
I wish I had more than words, but I don't. Don't give up my friends!

As I work and go to school here in Seattle, I am defiantly hearing a louder cry
for sending our troops there. In my opinion, either that jerk in Serbia is
going to give in to all the demands NATO has made, or we will soon be sending in
troops.
Since I am just an ear to the ground, and not privy to any real decision
making, take it with a big grain of salt, but I think it's going to happen...
A lot of people here, including some who remember W.W.II, think this is like
the holocaust in the 1940's and I don't think anyone will see too many Serbian
government sympathizers demonstrating on our streets anymore. Not that they
can't, but people are starting to get angry...and the Republicans, which had
opposed Clintons' move to start the air war there are now starting to line up in
favor of committing troops.
Just now on the news, they are saying that 64% here support the air action and
54% support committing ground troops, so cross your fingers...
The news from Kosova has definitely begun to move people here, they see it
every day...

To change the subject a little bit, I read the pro Serbian e-mail and they
sound a lot like the people we have on death row here--racists and serial
killers with no remorse and proud of it.
Well then...If they are so proud of their accomplishments, then how come I can
sit here and watch my tax dollars shake the ground in Belgrade?
We are actually a relatively kind nation (yes, I know we tend to push others
around--I'd like to see that change) and to give an example: If we were like
that slob to your north, the 170,000 square kilometers that makes up Serbia
would be a radioactive hell, lifeless and barren. So why don't we do it? I
think the answer is best said by a black lady here (much to the consternation of
those racists to your north) whose song goes:

    I've got the power...
    I've got the power...

We've got the power all right, but we are members of the human race, and as
intelligent people, concepts such as human decency stand between us and such
acts, and we realize that we don't need to do things like that.
I think this is what separates us from the animals. It's too bad the same
can't be said for slobodon. Actually, I think I just insulted the animals...
I'm glad that in your hour of need, we can be of help, as for myself, I am
proud of my country's stand in this hideous mess they are inflicting on you.

Please excuse me for boasting of my country's accomplishments. I have lived
here all my life and have not experienced other countries. I have only read
about them in the books or the news.
I can't ignore what strength you must have to face this hell as squarely as you
do. Because we have not faced death in 50 years most of us (except our fighting
forces) cannot know where such strength is in each of us here. You are an
example to us of what courage is. You are defining it.
The actions being taken could also not be accomplished without the blessings
and sacrifices of your NATO neighbors in Europe either.
I believe that this will end with your being able to go to Belgrade and stand
on the spot where Milosavic died...
Good luck, and God IS with you.

Hello

I and everybody I know sympathise fully with the kosovan plight and
believe the attrocities of the Serbian government fascists should be
stopped immediately. I also believe that, sadly, force appears to be
the only way forward when dealing with Slobodan Milosevic.

But I find the current choice of slogen "NATO - Just Do It" on your
website's main page tasteless, misguided and dangerous for two
reasons:

* The "Nike" logo is well known as an American icon which most people
associate with sport and fun. The war in Kosova is not sport and it is
not fun. It is a tragedy involving millions of people;
* It suggests that NATO is somehow controlled by the USA or even by
American business

Using catchy phrases of this kind reduces the Kosovan cause to the
level of a cheap holywood action movie.

Therefore, please show all Kosovan's the respect of finding a better
slogen, or even better, having no slogans at all. Doing this will
restore credibility to this highly valuable website.

Yours sincerely

Dear Sir or Madam:

I have been playing close attention to your site and particularly the
section on the Kosova crisis.

I noticed that you have various links to sites that you feel are relevant to
the crisis.

I would like to take this opportunity to direct you to the Bosnian Institute
site. I feel that it is a comprehensive source of information on the
dispute.

BOSNIAN INSTITUTE (LONDON)- http://www.bosnia.org.uk/

NEW EDITION OF BOSNIA REPORT COVERS KOSOVA CRISIS, CROATIA'S ROLE IN THE BOSNIAN CONFLICT AND THE BRCKO ARBITRATION DECISION.

The Bosnian Institute recently launched a comprehensive and regularly
updated Web site (http://www.bosnia.org.uk/>http://www.bosnia.org.uk) about
Bosnia-Herzegovina and regional issues. The site carries current and
archived issues of Bosnia Report and a variety of Bosnia-related content.

* BOSNIA REPORT: in the latest issue we carry an editorial entitled "Our
Man in Belgrade" about the failings of Western policy towards Milosevic,
plus a series of in-depth articles concerning Bosnia and the Kosova crisis
and a special report on revelations from Hrvoje Sarinic's recent book about
the cosy relationship between Milosevic and Tudjman during the Bosnian war.

* LATEST NEWS: our news section is updated almost daily and carries articles
and information from a number of sources about Bosnia, the Kosova crisis and
the region. Among recent articles are Branka Magas's response to Vojin
Dimitrijevic about NATO bombing and various opinion pieces from around the
world about the Kosova crisis.

* ABOUT BOSNIA: the Bosnian Institute site contains a wealth of information
about Bosnia, its people, places, history, arts and literature, with a
multitude of links to other sites of interest on the Internet. This section
also contains an interactive map of Bosnia with embedded links to local
Bosnian
Web sites.

* ABOUT THE INSTITUTE: the Bosnian Institute exists to provide education and
information on the history and culture of Bosnia-Herzegovina, and to
actively encourage the growth of a pluralist democratic society in the
region. Details of the Institute's events, publications, seminars and
cultural programme are available on this site, plus information about how to
get involved in the group's work.

The Bosnian Institute Web site is available at
<http://www.bosnia.org.uk/>http://www.bosnia.org.uk

I think that you too will agree that it is relevant to the news story, and
therefore could you possibly create a link to the site?

I hope that you carefully consider my request.

Yours faithfully,

hello -

we are a group of volunteers in Israel, who want to come to the refugee
camps, and do any work that is necessary. since we do not have a local
office of the Red Cross or the UNHCR, we are looking for a way to
combine our work with other groups in the camps.

if you can assist us with any information, we would appreciate it very
much. our plan is to come in groups - each for about 3 weeks, work in
the camps, and then change shifts.

please, help us to help the refugees.

thanks very much for your assistance

I read your letters for and against NATO bombing, my god never have I seen anything like this in my life. My father was a Serb and I can honestly say I have never been so ashamed to have this blood running through my veins. I cannot apologize for these people but I apologize for me. I was outraged to read the letters sent to you from Serbs trying to stick up for their unjust cause. I am in Australia, so I cannot feel your pain, but I see it everyday on T.V. My thoughts are constantly with you. God Bless!

Hello!

Outrageous! Outrages!Outrages! Are those stupid Serbs playing games with Albanians? Hours ago killing people, burning houses, forcing Albanian to flee Kosova, now forces them to go back. What home? The one, where you have killed his/her father, mother, sister, brother........ and then burned to the ground?
What happened to "Kosovo is for Serbs! Albanian should leave!"? Are we gonna see at least one consistency in Serbian behavior? When? But of course we are talking about Serbs here, what do you expect?

Greetings from Canada After the Nazi Holocaust, they said "Never again." After the rape of Bosnia, they said "Never again." Now again in the heart of so-called "civilized Europe" massacres, rapes and atrocities are happening on a daily basis. Although my soft heart wishes for peace, there can be no peace without justice. As the mother of a ten year old boy, I wept when I read the story of Dren and his terrible loss. As a Muslim woman, I wept when I read about the fate of my sisters in Kosova. May Allah grant you victory in your struggle, and may His justice against the serbs be swift. You are in all our thoughts and prayers at this time of tribulation. Be strong. Keep the faith. We had a local Serbian-Canadian woman on radio yesterday morning.
Following is a synopsis of her comments ...

I was born in Canada to Serbian parents who had come to this country
to escape the poverty and ethnic animosities at home. They came here
and accepted low-paying jobs until they learned enough of the
language to move on. They eventually did quite well by giving of
themselves and receiving what Canada had to offer. I was raised a
Serb at home and know all the music and all the dances and
considered myself a Serbian-Canadian until yesterday.

When I saw Canadian-born Serbs burning Canadian flags in front of
the American Embassy, I became a full Canadian. If they want to
demonstrate, let them turn in their Canadian health cards and go and
demonstrate in Belgrade. If we are to be Canadian, we must support
NATO.

I am already in trouble in the Serbian community because I am tired
of recent Serbian immigrants getting off the plane and within four
hours of arrival banging on an immigration officer's desk demanding
subsidized housing, a health card, and a monthly cheque that would
allow them to live better here without working than they did in
Yugoslavia.

I endorse her comments.

please set a site on kosovo's crisis center with all the numbers and
addresses for orgization people can donate to for relief funds to aid the
kosovo refugees. also any address or organization for sending canned foods or
clothing, blankets, diapers, tents, linens etc. should you already have a
list compiled please forward it to me as i am trying to compile a list for my
son's school, to distribute through the students to their parents who may
want to help but don't know how. i wish every site containing news about the
crisis there would first and foremost list where people can send help. it is
very frustrating to want to help and not know how.

Ask this question to decide:

Is the satisfaction derived from rape, murder, ethnic cleansing,
looting and so on exceeded by losses in Serb military equipment,
buildings, bridges, fuel, land, inflationary pressures and world
public image?

If yes, then you guys are winners.

If no, then you guys are losers.

Whatever the answer, Milosevic will enjoy his unchanged lifestyle,
eating gourmet meals on nice China, seated on expensive furniture,
surrounded by
fine art. Ditto, for Arkan and the paramilitary spending their loot.
These guys can't lose in any economic sense.

(Posted by MSNBC by Frank Glodek, who sends this to you guys to cheer
you up in hard times. This post didn't make the Serbs too happy).

As a mother of an eighteen month old child I cannot imagine the pain of the mothers of these young children I see night after night on television struggling in the most appalling circumstances to protect them. I then see the old people and think that they could be my own parents. I cannot imagine how anyone can be so heartless to harm these people. I am in tears when I watch this barbarity. I will do all I can to help in whatever way I can and for as long as it takes. Well done on the site. All my best wishes.

When the administration wants to promote a point of view, it arranges to
have spokesmen appear on all the talk shows. The Yugoslavs are on Larry
King every night. You guys should do the same. Hockenberry from MSNBC
is now in Albania covering the refugee crisis.

You have to know what "gets" to Americans to make them pressure the
president. While making the points below, you must appear not be be
deliberately trying to go around his head.

You must stress to Americans the valuable role you could play in aiding
our downed crews, especially when apaches arrived. Stress you'd be
invaluable.

Your ability to delay and block ethnic cleansing (which really ticks off
Americans)
if the president gave you the right weapons should be stressed; i.e,
thousands of people would still be in their homes if the president had
helped; many of the executived would still be alive. That will get to
Americans.

Dwell especially on this: Why should American boys and other NATO troops
be be taking casualties doing jobs and taking risks that we would gladly
have taken?

Tear apart the argument that arming and training you would take too much
time.

Repeat Sen. John McLain's theory that Clinton's idea that air power
alone could stop ethnic cleansing was a FALSE conclusion derived from
Serbia's retreat in Bosnia. The truth is that, after Germany provided
arms to the Croats despite Clinton's protests, the Serbs driven back so
badly they were in danger of losing everything; that's what made
Milosevic come to the diplomatic table, NOT bombing alone. Point out
that if Croatia could handle the Serb army, the American army should
certainly do so, that this is not World War II and the Serbs are the
invaders in bad terrain. If only you had better arms...

Every one of the six points below deserves emphasis. I;'ve posted it
elsewhere and sent it to the White House. It does no good, because
Clinton doesn't listen. You are in a position to make these points
public. Americans don't want their boys killed and Kosova Muslims would
really rather carry out the task on the ground. Americans will be happy
to hear what you can do. They haven't thought of it, believe me, and
the administration is not about to tell them.

Believe me the public hasn't thought of this. Although it now supports
ground war, it would take too long for our armies to get in place and,
given Clinton's stubborness, that won't even start until he relents.

Try to get copies to military analysts who appear on these shows and get
them to comment on the six points and on the validity or lack thereof of
the "training" argument. If the drug-selling charges are true, I
strongly recommed you admit to them but look right in the cameras and
tell Americans that "after what happened to Muslims in Bosnia we knew
what was coming. We tried to get weapons to defend ourselves and no one
would help us. We are very poor. Yes, we sold drugs because we had
this choice: Sell drugs or die, along with your family. I ask you
Americans, what would YOU do in our shoes? It's easy to condemn from a
distance.

The KLA is potentially better suited than our own armies to these six
tasks which require little training:

1. Immediate ground assistance to downed crew (A-10, Apache, etc.).
2. Providing useful info on enemy concentrations and hiding places.
3. Hunting down units routed by our air power and completing the job.
4. Hunting paramilitary units involved in ethnic cleansing.
5. Slowing Serb offenses into new areas until Apaches arrive.
6. Attacking supply convoys hidden from the air.

Remember Chechna and Afghanistan?

The dumbest job for our troops: a conventional offensive on the ground
in that terrain. Why play right into enemy hands in terrain like that?
Clinton’s failure to arm the KLA will assure that our boys get stuck
with all six tasks.

Factories, civilian airports, bus depots, train depots, stores, even
schools (if targeted at night)have been declared by Serbia to be
legitimate targets there for NATO bombers. Desipite Serbia's own
atrocities, civilian homes and hospitals remain non-targets.

The means by which the Serbs have shown this desire is by their
economic warfare against Kosova: deliberate burning hundreds of
villages and tens of thousands of homes. In most, but not all cases,
civilians are removed before the gasoline is spilled and lit. In
some cases, however, Muslim civilians are shot and left to be
cremated inside.

Fair is fair, after all. Serbs should have to face substantial
economic recovery problems after the war.
As the aggressor, they should suffer damage substantially greater
than their innocent victims.

In the meantime, just thinking about yesterday, we had 400 sorties in
nice weather which all of our bombs were pleasantly dropped on
deserving targets (28 "target areas" included many multimple
targets).

Property damage to NATO in the form of lost airplanes was zero.
Serbia property and equipment losses: Count 'em up, boys and girls.

NATO soldiers and crews losses totaled zero. Serb SOB's killed =
count 'em up, boys and girls.

Day after day, the pounding will continue.

Even when all goals are achieved, Serbs should be entitled to an
extra two weeks, gratis, with economic sites especially targeted as a
rewared for their crimes in Kosova in which they have all
collaborated and for which they have all been cheer leaders. Call it
a well-earned GENOCIDE BONUS.

Bombs away! Bombs away! Bombs away!

How many Genocide-types will be hit today?

Serb atrocities in this age of worldwide satellite television have
totally backfired.

As for the excuse that the Serb army is mainly concentrating on the
KLA (an outrageous lie now that the known total of cleansed has
reached 914,000), every KLA member you kill will be replaced by a
thousand recruits after this.

You think not?

First, we have made it clear that the bombing won't stop until every
Serb soldier, paramilitary and police has left Kosovo, which was and
will be again at least 90 percent Muslim. My own feeling is that it
should be 100 percent. Since most Kosovo Serb civilians have
obviously been involed in atrocities, they will be subject ot war
crimes trials anyway.

Second, unless we intend to stay forever, we will have no choice but
to arm and train a Kosova Muslim army.
Given what Milosevic and the Serbs done over and over throughout all
Yugoslavia since l989, every Muslim household should be provided with
the means of self-protection: a nice automatic rifle, sufficient and
sufficient ammunition. Every 10th household should have anti-tank
equipment or mortars. We will also need to provide some artillery,
rockets and anti-air stuff in the interest of ensuring this never
happens again.

As in Germany, atrocities will have been counter-productive. The
only gains Serbs will have after this will be the temporary
satisfaction of rape, looting, murder and ethnic cleansing. The
losses will be the roastie-toastie soldiers, all the military
equipment, the bridges and factories and Kosova itself. It's
inevitable now. Serbs have gone too far to be forgiven...ever.

Hi, everybody!

We are very proud of the great work you guys are doing. I think, also, that
there are many dissinformation from different sources and it's hard to
believe in everything we see. We (in America) get pretty good info, but
still there are tons of them we are not aware of.

My husband if from Kosovo, a village near Peje called Baran, and his mother
was all alone there in their family house. Last time he spoke to her was in
November 98, when she stayed with some relatives in Peje because her house
was bombed. Right now we are looking for ways to get any kind of
information about her and other relatives, so I thought that maybe you would
have better sources to find that out. We asume that she might be somewhere in refugee camps in Albania, if she managed to escape.

We would appreciate any response. Thank you and take care!

I am extremely concerned for the welfare of the Kosovars. Is there
anything that I can do this summer, to help the people of Kosovo (such
as volunteering in relief efforts)? Please respond to my request.
Thank you.

Sincerely,

My heart go out to you people in all of this but I can't seemto understand
why????

--

Please explain why the term ethnic albanians is used rather than just
Albanians?
I have asked dozens of people and no one can explain "ethnic" Albanian.

--

It seems that virtually everyone here in Switzerland, no matter which political
party, is appalled at the expulsions in Kosova and very critical of the
Serbian leaders. There have been interviews with or profiles of Draskovic,
Seselj, Arkan, and others in one local paper--they all make your hair stand
on end. The same paper has also run pieces by Veton Surroi, Veron Matic
(B92), and an opposition anthropologist from Beograd, who stated firmly
that at the root of this--aside from Milosevic--are the entrenched negative
stereotypes and "hatred" with which the majority of Serbs have viewed
Kosovare (her comments were based on research she conducted among Serbs on
the Kosova issue a few years ago). Before the NATO strikes began, the
newspaper ran a long article by a German Balkans specialist advocating
independence for Kosova. On the TV there have been a number of interviews
with Serbs and Albanians (not only Swiss and German TV--we have watched
Italian also). In each case, the moderator has strongly challenged the
comments by the participating Serbs, who have sometimes been
representatives of the government. I've seen relatively little criticism
of NATO actions or anything to suggest that the public isn't placing blame
for what is happening predominantly upon Serbia's leadership. When the
NATO strikes first began, "Communist youth" in Italy and France (and maybe
elsewhere) demonstrated against NATO, and some pacifists in Germany also (I
guess they have no memory of WWII). But these actions seem to be dying
down.

Sir/Madam,

The NATO alliance has been telling Milosovic that the Albanians must be
permitted to return to their homes, and that the alliance will use military
force to ensure this outcome. What better solution can he have than to close
the boarders and kill the Albanians who are still in Kosovo instead of
deport them. Dead people don't return home.

Did anyone think of this?

If we have evidence that he is doing this, what can be done about it? My
guess is 'nothing much'... a few more bombs perhaps. If Milosovic is smart,
which he seems to be, he will bet on no action in addition to the current
bombing from the NATO alliance, in which case he will win the war. On the
other hand, he knows that if NATO sends in ground troops, the casualties
will case a back lash in the West, and he will win the war. He has every
motive to kill the remaining Kosovars.

Did anyone thing of this?

It seems to me that Chamberlain is still talking to Hitler.

HEY!! Where did the NATO AIR logo go?!?!?!

snip-

Hi John,

Here is a site which has had very good info from the Kosovo side for the
last couple of weeks. It gets updated, it looks like right from Kosovo,
several times a day! http://www.alb-net.com/index.htm

The Kosovo's obviously have an interesting sense of humour! Until today
the masthead was just the usual, sort of, crisis type heading. NOW, the
logo is a NIKE copy, "NATO AIR" ! and "just do it" !!
With a jet making the NIKE slash? w'sup wit dat?

It is thanks to the direction of people like Mr. Thall that some of
your listeners are able to make these interesting discoveries. He and
you seem to encourage folks to use a critical eye on information and to
try and seek out alternate sources of information.

Thanks, Bob

Alb-Net Response: We have removed the logo from the main page, but here it is again just for you:

My name is Mark Stephens and I teach 7th & 8th grade students (12-14
years of age) in a leadership class at Cabrillo Middle School in Santa
Clara, California.. Is it possible to set up e-mail contact between my
students and Albanian students of the same grade or age?

I totally support the action of the UK and our allies I also think if necessary a land force should be sent into the area to reclaim what is rightfully yours . Dictators like Milosovich should be stopped at all costs , the comparison between the nazis and this regime is too strong to ignore .

For the past few weeks I have read all I could about what is going on in
Kosovo...and have discovered that the Albanian people have been going
through a bad time for quite awhile..its was only when Milosevic ordered
his troops to cleanse Kososvo that I was even aware of the Albanian
people's plight...I support NATO because I am an American and will
always support my country...at first I did not want our troops involved
in a war that I felt was internal..I do not like war and fear for any
young person's life that may be in danger..but as I have watched the
thousands of women and children fleeing for their lives I am proud of my
country and glad now that we have stepped in...no person should have to
live in fear of their life..I beleive that all countries across the
world should step in and call for a quick ending to this injustice that
is being done to these people...The internet is a powerful tool and your
web page is the best one I have encountered in my search of the
truth..If all people cried out perhaps this would help the Albaninan
people..."The world grieved together with Princess Diana's Death and
Mother Teresa's, now let the world cry out at the slaughter of innocent
people" War is one thing, but when it involves the helpless then may
God take care of those who would harm that which he himself created...To
all the Albaninan people and espically the little boy Rain who managed
to escape to tell the world his story...May God give you peace within
your heart and may your prayers be heard...I hope that soon you will be
able to live in peace as God has wanted his children to do since the
beginning of time...My prayers go out to you and to all the people who
are trying to help you...May God Bless you and protect you..

Please send me the e-mail address of an Albanian family who is housing
refugees in their home. Since I do not speak the language, someone in
the home should be able to write English so that we can communicate.
Use your best judgment to provide a good family.

Thank you,

Just a quick note to let you know that my prayers are with you and all of the civilians who are being killed or driven from their homes by the tyrant Milosevic. Far too often in recent memory the world has stood back and watched atrocities occur in countries like Rwanda. Everyone knows that all it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. Let this be a warning to all dictators and murderers around the world, we have drawn a line in the sand, step across it at your own peril, for we shall never allow this to happen again.

Every Day my family and I pray for all the people who have been killed, for
all who have lost their loved ones, and for all who are being forced to
leave their homes and live in inhumane conditions.

Every Day my family and I try to get news about Kosovo and the Albanian
refugees, hoping to see and listen that the exodus is over, that the
refugees' rights have been restored, and that justice has been made. Every
Day we try to learn more about their crisis and their culture. We believe
that by being informed, informing others, and by knowledge-sharing, finally
the world's common sense will prevent irracional rulers to induce their
people to carry out these atrocities.

I am a 27 year old girl from Mexico and as many others who have sent you
support letters, I want to also tell you of my solidarity. I want to
encourage you not to lose your hopes and faith because Every Day NATO will
show the mass-murderers, by diplomacy or by war, that the world is no
longer indifferent.

I am sorry !!!!!!
