THANKS TO ALL OF YOU
WHO HAVE SENT THE ALBANIAN PEOPLE MESSAGES OF SUPPORT. GOD BLESS YOU ALL! --
Dear friends of the Kosovo people,
Another week and Milosevic will have to SURRENDER... or nothing will
remain of the economic infrastructure of Serbia.
NATO will prevail for FREEDOM for all.
A Quebecer...

Dear Sirs,
I heard that of next week there would be 5,000 refugees coming to
Canada. Can you tell me if there are any coming to the States and if so
were they will be and how I can help more?

My family is interested in helping anyway we can with the Kosovo Refugees.
If you could possibly send us information on how to help we would greatly
appreciate it.
We are also looking for a baby to adopt and were wondering if there are
possibly any babies for adoption as well.
If there would happen to be any teenagers or small families who need
a place to stay... please contact us and we will take it into consideration.

How can I help or get a group going at my school or
to help the refugee crisis?
Leigh Elwell
--
I found your net home page through the American Brookings Institute.
This is an American think tank. The blight of Kosovo has been in my thoughts
scence the beginning of the NATO bombing. I am an American who fought in
Viet Nam thirty years ago. It is my heart felt fear that the bombing will
only increase the agony of the muslum population of Kosovo. Unless NATO will
increase thier commitment to ground forces Serbia will rule the day.
All this aside, I pray as a Roman Catholic that the 300 thousand
refugees will be returned to their home with aid from the outside in
rebuilding what has been taken from them. I can tell you the many many
Americans see this war as a futal attempt for that to happend without ground
forces of NATO to assist those in need. Killing your people does not seem to
be the best way to handle or aid the blight of the people of Kosovo.
God Bless you ALL.

I am not too sure what to say but you all are in my prayers and if there is
anything we can do for support or helping organizations with help, I will be
so happy to help. I pray every day two and three times, you are all
constantly in my prayers. I am willing to help in what ever way I can. When
they come to the US I am willing to take in a few. I just want you to know
that I just cannot imagine how horrible things really are. I live in
Pittsburgh, PA and Please if you know of anyway we can help please contact us.
God Bless You

I care and am willing to help in anyway possible.

I know that
the basic, pressing needs for food and hygiene for all the refugees is the most immediate
concern, but I wondered whether or not anyone has started planning for adoptive homes for
the children orphaned by this war. Because of the utter devastation of this region and its
people, I question whether the orphaned children will ever be returning to Kosovo. If not,
it seems to me that these children should be rescued immediately and placed with loving
families who can help them begin to deal with the horrors they have witnessed and to start
the long, slow process of healing. If NATO governments are unable to deal with this issue
due to the demands of providing for immediate physical concerns of refugees, perhaps
private organizations could step in to bring these children out of the living hell they
are now trapped in.

Our family
lives in the Philadelphia area. We are willing to pay for round trip airfare for an
Albanian family to fly to Philadelphia. We will house them, feed them, clothe them and
give them all the support needed until the madness subsides. We will prepare the visas'
and the legal documentation necessary to expedite this offer. This is an unconditional
offer which stands indefinitely. The sooner the better, so please let us know ASAP, so we may
begin to make arrangements. If they are looking for asylum, we will also make arrangements
and pay for that as well. This is the best we can do !!! If you cannot do anything pass it
on to someone who can. Hope to hear from You

I have signed the petition and forwarded your website address to
everyone in my address book. I had been wavering in support of the
airstrikes, but I was only concerned with how it will affect the US. I
will now support it, because of what it means to the people of Kosova.
You are in our thoughts daily. We listen to each report, hoping to hear
good news. War seems inevitable. I hope it will not be too little, too
late. I had thought we might enter the new millenia without the baggage
of the 20th century. I was naive. Stand strong, and may history
forgive us.

Hi this is Ron im am very disapointed in my fellow americans.this is not
about being behind our president,it's about human rights!Little children and
women young men, well human beings are being denied the right to live in
peace!our president is a great leader we should fogive him and focus on the
problem.I am outraged at the serbian army and I am all for toltally and
utterly destroing them! Rather it be by air or ground we cannot stop now,we
must move forward and be victorius even if those Russians don't like it.we
must not stop no matter what "no matter what"! The serbian army are murders
just like hittler and we should make them pay severly!

Dear Sir or Madam:
We have received information that Ibrahim Rugova
and four other top leaders of Kosovo were executed
by Serb forces one week ago.
There is suspicion here in the USA that our major
media and the Pentagon are deliberately
suppressing the information in order to release it
just before the start of ground operations in
Kosovo.
Please let us know what the truth is.

Dear Friends,
My heart is going for all of you. I live in the United States, but my
heart is with you day and night. I'm trying my best to see what and how
I can help. I am a Muslim and looking into Muslim Organizations for
supporting you. If US accepts some of the refugees here, I would offer
my home to helping as many people as I can. There is a lot of support
and a lot of people are trying to help. The level of atricities have
been overwhelming for the world.
God Bless

The haunting images we see on television and the horrific murders in
Kosovo we read about are a blemish to humanity. Money for refugees and
prayers for peace don't seem to be enough. What can we do to help? May
the children who live through this crisis not be forever scarred. Let it
end soon.

My thoughts and prayers are with all Albanian people. Having a baby of my
own my heart goes out to the children, the pain and suffering they have seen
in their short lives is pathetic. My family would love to take in an
Albanian family here in the US. My home is open. Food, clothing and shelter
would be taken care of. Let me know. I'm sure there are plenty of other
Americans who are willing to do the same.

I don't know what to say.I don't know a lot about your history, but
nothing , nothing , justifies the brutal repression of your people. I
only hope nato will send in ground troops to stop the barbarism, and
protect your people. I cannot understand in this day and age how such
thingd can be happening. There are blatant lies comming out of Belgrade.
Milosoveic must be stopped. If I was younger I would volunteer to come

All of this bad news sickens me. I take joy in hearing that there are
numerous agencies here in America and around the world who are sending
great quantities of supplies to help the Kosovo and other people who
live as refugees. I do not like the killing, nor the boming...nor the
politics....I have seen the pictures of the atrocities...I want to hear
more of airlifts, food distributed, blankets given, lives saved,
families comforted.....
Our church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is sending
great quantities of supplies to the relief agencies helping. This is
good. Save the refugees, even if they must be airlifted to the Great
Salt Lake Valley in America.

there are two certain outcomes of this conflict. MILOSEVIC WILL BE
DEFEATED - THERE WILL BE MANY INNOCENT MEN WOMEN AND CHILDREN
SLAUGHTERED AT THE HANDS OF SERBIA. my heart breaks when i see and hear
what is happening in kosovo. i am not a religious person, yet i find
myself praying. all good serbians ( if there is such an animal ) will be
ashamed to call themselves serbian. I find it hard to be proud of being

I find it very hard to express in words the sadness I
feel for the people of Kosova. I can't begin to imagine what you are going through at this
very moment and would like to offer my love and support. I live in Australia with my
husband, two daughters and a son and although we are a long way from you, our thoughts are
with you. I have never experienced anything like this in my country and as I watch and
listen to the news programs I am shocked and horrified by these atrocities. I hope and
pray your suffering is over very quickly and you can find peace and happiness once again.
May you find the strength to help you through this tragedy and may you live in hope that
one day you will return home once again.

To all Kosovo Albanians and the brave OVK fighters:
"Hang on couple more days till Apachee arrives."
Then gather your forces and fight for your freedom, your motherland. I see many healthy

We did it, you can did it too.

I wish you well.
To think, in my own country (USA) in 1969, it was illegal for me to
marry my
wife because of her race. Her parents told me stories of how they had to suffer
indignities and inequities. Your enemy represents these same sentiments and all
that goes with it.
Because of my wife's parents and many like her who fought for change,
we are
now a better country. I hope that when the fighting is done, yours will become
a better place, too.
I hope you persevere.
I don't hate the Serbian people, but their present government is built
on
everything disgusting and repulsive in the way of ethnic hatred and racism
disguised as nationalism.
The Serbs don't deserve to rule Kosovo.

How can we help further?

Dear People
of Kosovo, I do not know how anyone could have gone
through what you all have gone through. Any person that could do what Pres. Milosevic does
to his own people deserves exactly what he's getting, and more. Each day, usually twice, I
look at this site and KosovaPress - I see the reports of massacres and killings, and it
brings tears to my eyes. None of us in America have ever had to face
the daily challenges that your people must meet, but we do support you, and NATO will
prevail! Be assured that any of your people that are brought to the US will be met with
open arms.
Good Luck to you all,

Faced with human adversity at this mammoth scale one feels the extent of
one's utter helplessness. I wish we had the wherewithal to stop
Serbia's demon without hurting innocent civilians in Belgrade or
anywhere else. For many Lebanese (and others who have leaved through
insane and bloody conflicts), newscoverage of Nato's daily bombings will
bring back memories we would rather bury: life in the shelters, the
bombs, the odour of fear and death in the air, loss of loved ones....
Images of the mass exodus should prompt us to help the Kosovars any way
we can, each in his/her capacity. And once thie criminals have been
brought to justice, as we hope they will, dear friends, let us not go
back to our mundane life, forgetting about the "moral of the story".
Atrocities are atrocities at whatever scale: we should champion justice
in all its shapes and forms and for all peoples irrespective of creed or
color: thousands of people in Lebanon have been displaced and have yet
to return to their homes; the children of Iraq are dying because of an
inhumane U.N-sanctioned siege; the Arab cause has yet to find enough
Western sympathy and understanding. After all, have we forgotten the
mass exodus of Palestinians in 1948? ANY form of injustice to anybody
should make me cringe and protest. Let us us the same moral yardstick
for all parts of the world, even those maligned or misrepresented by the
mainstream Western press.
And to my Kosovars brothers and sisters, may you continue to thrive as
a viable community in peace away from all forms of barbarity....
Please withhold name

Hello,
As one of the editors/webmasters of the leading online Turkish
political-history and activism site http://www.turkishforum.com I am
placing a link to your homepage and would like to take this oppurtunity to
voice the general Turkish public opinion of support for the Albanian
suffering in Kosova.
Turks & Albanians have a rich and long history, many Turks today (of various
different ethnic backgrounds) feel that the Serbian assaults on Albanian
civilians is an attack on Turks and feel in a way obliged to protect them.
Please inform me of any further campaigns you may have so that we may
circulate the event within the Turkish lists and muster up additional
support against the ongoing massacres.
My wishes for a speedy and just recovery and the safe return of Kosovars to
their homelands are with you.
Sincerely,
A. Omer Koker.

Thanks for understanding the situation, the serbs have been at the base
of most crimes in Europe (WW1...included!) and it is about time that
their president pay for the crimes committed by his own people and
against humanity at large, and I think that the NATO is starting ONLY NOW
to understand the real mentality of serbian thinking, and as long as the
serbian people will support their president, war and atrocities will
prevail...unless the NATO air command REALLY do something efficient to
bring the serbs to accept the reality has it should be served,I believe
that all Nations, shall they desire their independence, should have
it;freedom for all,no matter how small is the Nation,it's essential for
all we human beings to creatively understand each others and exchange
our differences for the better as well as enjoying it to the fullest,
and feel better about ourselves, and as long as Slovenia,Croatia,Bosnia,
Montenegro,Albania,Macedonia and Kosovo do not enjoy their FULL
INDEPENDENCE,the serbs will always be there....

The US news networks are not giving enough coverage to the atrocities being
committed by the Serbs against the Albanian people in Kosova. We must

dear sirs--
As americans, we are appalled at the fascist serbian govt's attacks on
the the peoples of Kosova and the genocide, ethnic cleansing and mass
deportations. We support the Kosovars in their crisis and
whole-heartedly desire for their freedom and wish them well.
I have written to the Belgrad govt press site and told them that the
bombing of serbia will stop ONLY when Milosovic, "Arkan" and all
responsible for genocide are turned over to the WarCrimes Tribunal. And
that they need to remember how the fascist Mussolini was executed by
his own people in 1945.
But...Americans also remember the thanks we received from the Afghan
"freedom fighters" after the US helped them defeat the Soviets in their
fight against the Soviet invasion....Afghan extremists bombed the World
Trade Center in NYC. and now the Taliban shields and protects bin Laden.
Please understand that the above reminder is not to compare the Albanian
Muslims to those of the Afghan extremist Taliban...just that we have
been burned for our efforts before and would sincerely appreciate
concerted re-assurances that the KLA will not repeat the kind of revenge
killings against serbs or turn against my country when it is convenient
to do so.
One thing that I was very gratitfied to hear was that NOT ONE of the
fleeing Kosovar refugees cried out for revenge...though I would
understand completely that if in their grief they would do so. I can't
imagine the horrors they have endured.
While most Americans DO support NATO's efforts to stop the genocide of
ANY people, regardless of nationality or ethnic origin, we hesitate to
be dragged into a "blood feud" that has persisted for 6-7 centuries.
While most Americans know very little about Albania and Kosova, or
serbia--one thing we do remember is that Albania, while under Commuist
rule was one of the most repressive regimes in Europe. We sincerely
hope that in a new Europe, Albania will show itself to be worthy of its
membership in the greater World Community.
These are very difficult times for everyone, Albanian, Kosovar and Even
ordinary serbs, many of whom I hear do not support their government--but
are too afraid to denounce its actions or leaders.
Americans are praying that the genocide will stop, that Kosova will
become a land of peace and freedom for all who love it and call it home.
God bless you and all who love and respect freedom for all, regardless
of the past,... ancient or recent.
Yours,
Thom W

I am a 47 year old American. Harry S. Truman was President when I was
born. My teenage years were spent under the cloud of Viet Nam. I was
drafted and sent home on induction day, the day Richard M. Nixon abolished
the draft. We as a nation learned our lesson in Viet Nam. By that I mean,
we should never half ass a war. Set your objectives and don't quit until
they are met. There should only be one objective in this campaign. The
total annihilation and occupation of what is now Yugoslavia. Slobdonavich
along with Arkan should be publicly executed. An American flag should wave
above that country's capitol. Russia is and always has been full of hot
air and empty threat. They have always known that communism would fail.
Mankind has progressed as a society because of self-discipline, but it has
flourished because of freedom. Just when things seem to be going ok for a
young democracy, some twisted, cold blooded thug with delusions of granduer
takes control and gets the entire human family in an uproar. I wish I had
an army of a million or so combat hardened freedom fighters. I would not
only take Yugoslavia, I would take whats left of Russia and put those dumb
bastards to work rebuilding the economy. They don't realize what a gold
mine of potential they have. Oh well, in a perfect world, etc. Anyway my
thoughts and prayers for the innocent bystanders concerned on both sides of
the issue. After all, we did the same thing to the American indians, so we
can't hold our history up as a shining example. As a white society, we
tried to do the same thing to our black brothers and sisters, perhaps in
more subtle ways but no less cruel. If we are going to teach or try to
right a moral wrong, we should also be willing to improve ourselves and
begin dealing fairly with all nations worthy of a fair shake. We are after
all, a nation peopled by every nation on earth. We should hang our heads
in shame for not going in and exterminating that vermin the Serbs call a
police force. If you make them dead, they can't kill innocent people
anymore.

Dear staff,
During a short vacation from the school I work for (Easter), I have only

If you need volunteers, please don't hasitate to ask. The goverment is

we never do anything. We feel so empty that this is really happening,
without any preparations to help the refugees, how ignorant can we

Thank you for compiling the list of organizations helping Kosovars
survive the crisis. I sure will use it and also share it with my
colleagues at work.
Must say that I am soooo proud of the people of Albania, reportedly
poorest in Europe, helping the greatest number of albanian refugees.
Too bad that macedonians do not feel the same compassion. My heart
goes out to all the refugees: young and old, men and women, parents
and children. I am a mother of two little boys myself, and seeing so
many little darlings suffering, breaks my heart. Just want to hold
them all and make it "all better".
To the people of Kosovo: we love you, and we want to help you, and
P L E A S E hang in there, hold on to your babies and loved ones;
BETTER DAYS ARE COMING.
To others who can help: please do. Every little bit counts.

Everyone deserves the right to life and the pursuit
of happiness. I'm both sorry and horrified to think that things like this can happen even
in this age. One thing that continues to ring true threw all the confusion and pain is
freedom. . . I know violence isn't always the answer. At this point, like you, my only
worry would be my family and my home. God would have it that all men are free, no matter
where they live, what language they speak or what the color of there skin is. Like most
people, I've learned that even when the strongest stand in the name of something they
believe, if they're few, they can be defeated. And that it is possible to do everything
right and still loose. Please know that we also stand firm in the belief that we can all
live free and organize a government that works and serves the people in stead of its self
and it's own conquests. To all things, there is a solution. God will help you find it and
will call all his people to help you. There is to much talking, To much fighting. . . One World. . One Piece. . To your Independence! We want to help.
. . Tell us how we can best serve in your time of need. J.

I have been hearing that many of the refugees from Kosovo are
concerned that if they leave the area to be moved to safety that
they will never be able to find other members of their families
from whom they have become separated by the war. This is one
small problem that I may be able to help resolve.
I am interested is establishing an online searchable database so
that people can register themselves, and search for their family
members. I have thought about having name, birth date, birth
town, town / village of last residence, and a history of
locations and contacts that would show where someone is now, and
how they might be contacted.
I see that your web site has some of this information, however,
it is not searchable, and can not be modified or added to by the
Albanians (or their friends) as needed. It looks as though you
(or someone) must handle it all by hand at the moment. If we end
up with over a 100,000 people in the database, doing it by hand
will not be practical.
Are you interested in working with me to set this up? I only
speak English, and will need some help with translation,
publicity in the community, and would also like to use the
information you now have as a start.
I would not charge anything for this service, or to develop it.
The service would be a humanitarian effort. My family survived
(partially) the holocaust in Europe during WWII, and I am quite
sympathetic to the plight of the refugees.
I have a very high-speed connection to the Internet (3 T1 lines),
and am fairly confident that I can make my server relatively
impervious to attack from disruptive forces which have plagued
the NATO site should it become necessary.
I hope to hear from you soon. Also, if you could tell me your
phone number, that would be excellent.
Sincerely,

I wanted to let the Albanian people know, that as an American, I am
disgusted by the actions of the Serbs. Most importantly, though, I am
praying for the Albanians, that they may prevail over this situation, and
soon return to their homeland, to live in peace.

Albanian and
Kosovar Albanian Friends I am a US soldier watching the men, women and
children suffer so terribly. Nobody has the right to inflict such devastating harm on your
people. Again, I echo, how can we in the United States REALLY help. Is it possible to
sponsor a family for a period of time until they are able to reclaim their homes? My son
and I feel very deeply for your people.

with them about the US government's decision to relocate 20,000
Albanian refugees at Guantanamo Naval Base.
Please contact me as soon as possible, or kindly ask someone to do so.
Thank you for your help.

Dear Sir,
I think the Albanians fight is a just one. They fight for their home
and freedom. The US found out just how strong that motivation is during
the Vietnam war. I cannot commit to personal involvement at this time
due to my service in the US Air Force. I beg the KLA to ask for support
from organizations such as Military Personnel Resoures Inc. which can be
found on the internet at "MPRI.com" They would benefit greatly from some
professional help. Organizations like this turned the tide in Bosnia and
I'm sure would do the same here. Bravery on the soldiers part only goes
so far. If they are dead do to lack of training bravery does no good. I
hope that NATO sends ground troops soon so that I can personally be
involved in helping the Albanian people. May God be with you and your
cause.

Macedonia a close second.
The impression being made around the world is of the generosity,
concern, and caring of the people and government in Albania. The
poorest country in Europe is accepting any and all refugees that come to
their borders and trying to provide for their needs. Their actions are
not going unnoticed. It is a task that they cannot accomplish
themselves, no matter how hard they try. They don't have the means to
do it. They need help and it seems slow in coming. As an American I am
dismayed that we can not provide for everyone immediately. I only hope
we will do whatever is necessary to accomodate as many as possible as
quickly as possible.
There is no question that the Serb government is, from the top down,
the reincarnation of the Hitler mentality in Europe today. The
brutality, viciousness, and utter disregard for humanity is stronger
than ever there. I can generate no sympathy for their situation and I
find myself wishing only the worst for their future. I strongly feel
that it is incumbant upon the leaders of the free world to take it upon
themselves to do whatever is necessary to stop the barbarianism being
displayed by these butchers.
It is becoming apparent from the treatment being afforded the Kosovar
Albanian refugees by the Macedonians that they (the Macedonians) are not
far removed from their neighbors, the Serbs. They seem to have no
compassion or feeling for the poor people being run out of their own
homes and are only adding to their misery. Their fear of the Serbs or
their own desregard for humanity is clear. I strongly feel that they,
as well as the Serbs, should be publicly criticized and held up to
ridicule as the cowards and vermin that they appear to be.

As a jew living in Holland I can't look at the pictures anymore!!!!
NAVO failed in its mission!!! Here in Holland we read every month that
the NAVO has successfuly finished one of its "survaival" rescue training
to evacuate vilages in case of "fire" "water floading"
"war", all these
trainings costs lots of $$$$$$$$$$. I'm asking myself and the NAVO (or
shouldn't I ???) what happened to the best trained army in Europe with
the help of USA.
We all will see that after all this will be finished with about more
than 1 million homless people, NAVO will make an investigation comity
and they will come to the conclusion that they have failed - but I don't
think that they will admit it in public!!!
There are no words to describe how bad I feel, I want to donate $$$$,
but there is here nothing about where to send the $$$$$, here people are
eating and dancing, buying new cars, and no one wants to think that this
also could happen here in Holland, not war - but a water dissaster that
many people wil loose all that they have - all the good life that they
have!!!!.................

pray for peace in Kosovo and for the people of Kosovo who have suffered so much. I am

desire to help your people. I will continue to monitor your site- good luck, good always

aware of what is happening in Kosovo, and I pray by the grace of god that your suffering
will end soon. I wanted you to know you are not alone. God keep you safe, Gina

Today's offer by the Serbian government to 'welcome' you back
...and the snake, well hidden save his colorful head, said:
"Come here, I invite you as a friend to come home."
The mouse, once bitten and bleeding, was skeptical.
"A friend?"
"Yes!" said the snake, "These are not fangs, these are pillars of
hope at the door to a better life."
"And this is not poison, but the elixir of life", he added.
And the mouse, twice shy, remained where he was....

Hello,
My feelings go out to all. I know the situation looks bad but it can only
get better. My biggest worry is for the children. If I could get here
tomorrow and bring back an orphaned child I would. If you know of any that
need a home. I no of two families that are willing to take in children.
Good luck and god-speed.

citizens unvoluntarily involved in the Kosovo conflict. In my kibbutz we started to

this support we sincerely hope the situation will improve soon and the People can go back

The horrors that your people are experiencing now are unimaginable for 1999.
As a Buddhist, I abhor all forms of violence, and at first I was somewhat
troubled at what NATO was doing. Now I can only recognize that the alliance
too late. One-half of your population has now been forced into exile, and
yet the Serbians continue displacing, murdering, torturing, and stealing
from your people.
It is unfortunate that they (the Serbian government) do not recognize that
we are all human beings of flesh and blood, and that we all have the right
to peace, happiness, freedom, and self-determination.
I am saddened daily about the events in your homeland, and I fully support a
ground intervention by NATO forces as soon as possible in order to stop
Milosevic's military, police, and paramilitary forces.
My thoughts are with you every hour of every day. I only hope this all
comes to an end soon, and that we can close this war-torn chapter of 20th
century history. Although far away, we support you. Just tell us what we
can do.....

My heart goes out to our fellow Europeans in Kosovo
and my deepest aplogies on behalf of my government (whom, ashemedly), I voted for and
their inaction over the refugee crisis brewing in and around Kosovo. My heart breaks for
you're people and I wish you luck and justice. If there is anything I can do (I am a new
media project manager) to help in you're time of need, let me know. Are there any agencies
you know of that need volunteers to travel to the affected areas to help in any way. Do
you need help/resources in developing you're web sites ? I have donated money, but it does

The time has come to start an
international boycott of the Serbs. Lets get it
started with a list of all firms that do business in the US and stores that carry Serb
goods. Start the boycott as a protest against the

are appauld by this modern holocaust and want to do something as effective as bombing the
Serbs, Please reply

April 6, 1999
AN OPEN LETTER TO THE KOSOVA CRISIS CENTER
As you know all too well, the NATO Alliance has been lured into a terrible
situation by President Milosevic of Yugoslavia. His most recent ploy has been to offer a
"unilateral" cease-fire while ordering his border guards at the Macedonian
border to refuse exit to the Kosovar refugees. This would give the appearance, to those
blindly supporting Yugoslavia, that Milosevic is in fact not attempting to ethnically
cleanse Kosova. This is a GREAT plan! If Mr. Milosevic could have put all his energies
into a way to create a unified country, Yugoslavia could have become one of Europes
most ethnically and economically diverse powers. Instead, he has used his ideas and powers
to wage "ethnic" wars - first against the Croats, then the Bosnians, and now the
Kosovar Albanians. I hope his actions will someday be realized for what they really are -
a simple, Hitleresque land-grab tactic.
Hitlers war against the Jewish population of Europe was truly horrific, but it
wasnt his true purpose. Milosevic, like Hitler before him, realized that megalomania
is totally dependent on land. With his loss of Slovenia and Croatia, Milosevic saw his
"empire" dissolving, and, as despots do, he decided to secure his grip where
opposition would be the weakest. Despite his partial successes in Bosnia, his desires
still were not satisfied. So when he heard the rumblings in Kosova, he leapt at the
opportunity. Milosevic is nothing but a common bully, and NATO has become the "school
monitor". I do not like to see bombs falling ANYTIME on ANYONE - however, I cannot
see any other way to slow/stop Milosevics murderous procession. I fully support the
actions of the Kosovo Liberation Armys able resistance. I hope and pray that the
Kosovars will have a habitable, safe home to return to.
Sincerely yours,
Rick Pettit

Appreciated friends.
We are a big group of NGO of Catalonia that we are forming the Platform x
Kosova with the government. We have a warehouse with humanitarian help and
trucks. We are sending trucks to the town given refuge in Albania and
Macedonia, but we want to be able to enter the trucks in Kosova. In January
the NGO Madre Teresa, helped us to pass a truck of the NGO Paz Now. But in
these moments we don't have contacts inside Kosova.
Can you help us to enter the trucks in Kosova?
The day 8 of April at 20:00h o'clock, we will organize a manifestation for

I am a student at the University of Denver I am currently enrolled in
a class that is focused on resurch and public speaking. I have chosen
the Kosov Crisis to speak on.
I have several questions: I have been religously been listening to the
National Public Radio, and still I have soo many questions.
first: I know that in 1992 ethnic Albanians voted to sucede from
Yugoslavia, but.. what happened to make NATO come into the picture???
second, do you feel that nato is doing any good there??? and do they
have any business over there ??
I appriciate your time, and thankyou for responding.

educate people on this issue. I am a senior in high school (17 yrs. old) And
it seems like no one really cares about what is going on. Even the teachers

I would like to know if there is a way I could e-mail or
write to any kids around my age living in or around Kosova. I would like to
give them my support and love. thanks,

Hello: I'm wondering if there is some way I can actively help with the
situation in Kosovo? I'm currently working, but would like to volunteer
in some capacity or do something more active to help. If volunteer help
means traveling to Kosovo, I would be willing to request a leave of
absence from my place of employment to do so. The images of crying
children and homeless refugees haunts me all day long and I feel so
helpless. I work online at a newspaper in Greensboro, NC, USA and would
love to pass along any useful information to local residents as to how
they can help as well. Thank you for your response.
