Hi,
wondered if you could tell me what's the current position of
www.kohaditore.com - I see there's a problem with
the nameserver - just
wondered if it was likely to be a longterm thing.
Also do you have a PGP key for receiving secure information? There is
info I would like to give and questions to ask that are best not sent
unencrypted.

Dear Kosova Crisis Center,
I am an American Jew and I was surprised when I read your article
about
Albania's role in sheltering Jewish people from the Nazi holocaust. Do you
know where I could find out more about Albania's role in saving Jewish people
from extermination?
Is this true? I shouldn't sit idly by when a people that
had acted to
save us is now in dire need for help.
Information on Albania and the holocaust is very hard to find.
According to the Simon Wiesenthal Holocaust Memorial website,
http://motlc.wiesenthal.org, Albania had a very
small population of Jews that
was protected while Albania was under Italian occupation. But then the
Germans had the two hundred Jews deported in 1944 and killed most of them.
Please let me know where I could find out more about this.
Sincerely,
Scott Linder

I believe that a number of refugees are being
allowed into Britain. I have a 6 bedroom house which is fully equipped to cater for 10
people. It is vacant and on the market at the moment. I am prepared to take it off the
market for at least a year if it would help to house refugees. Also my husband and i have
TEFL certificates and woiuld be pleased to give English Lessons. The house is a very nice
detached building situated on the Promenade atr Bispham in LAncashire. Good public
transport and close to shops. Kay

Don't worry about the CBS News ³60 Minutes² interview with the
wife of Slobodan Milosevic. Nobody believes her. And her ignorance or
outright lies only serve to remind Americans of the denial by Hitler and
his coherts.
I teach on the western slope of Colorado in a small town (2000 people).
This year we have an exchange student form Skopje, Macedonia. He is
Albanian and spent ten years living in Kosovo before his family moved to
Macedonia. This has been a very difficult year for him to be away from his
family. His parents and grandparents are housing about 100 refugees in
there home. Our student would like to help his family by send clothing and
blankets that his parents tell us the refugees need.
Before we started to collect items, I contacted several relief agencies to
see if we can get things shipped. I also tried some corporations that
might use this opportunity as a commercial or an example of their
humanitarian concerns. Getting no positive response from many groups, I
finally contacted the Mother Teresa Humanitarian Organization in Skopje.
They encouraged us to pack things and gave us the Worldwide Travel &
Shipping Company as an agent to ship the material. They have not gotten
back to us. Most of the difficulties come from trying to ship directly to
a home. I even contacted the first lady when I heard she was thinking
about traveling to the refugee camps. Naturally, I have not heard a
response. Today I received a call from "Project Cure" who was trying to
get medical supplies to the camps but they tell me the government is
confiscating all shipments for redistribution as they see the need. I
understand but we have a personal concert her. Artie has become a member
of our small school family and the students gave many new or nearly new
items of clothing out of love and care for Artie. We have 31 boxes about
15x15 x17.
Scott McInnis was in Meeker Sat. 4/24 for a town meeting. He told me he
could get military transport for our packages but he did not know of any
way of delivering them to a particular address or people. He is still
working at it and I have not heard from him.
I have 20 students who are beginning to get disillusioned about helping
others in need and I want them to keep the caring open heart they have now,
and not get jaded by the bureaucracies. If you have any idea let me know.
Thank You

Thanks for posting historical background on the Kosovo struggle which helps
to overcome both FRY and American Republican disinformation and to
establish the absolute moral basis for NATO's actions. I refer everyone to
your site if they are confused by such disinformation in the US media, and
often they are astonished to learn the truth.
Most Americans are behind the president. Only his bitter enemies, who
could not get rid of him with their unpopular impeachment, will do
anything, even sell out to the FRY, for their own political gains.
Success!!!

from Canada:
200+ refugees from Kosova arrived not far from my hometown last night. I
applaud the Canadian government for their effort in this time of need. My
family and I have already added our names to the list of people willing to
help in any way that we can.
Over the next few weeks, many more refugees will arrive in Canada. With the
love and support of Canadians, hopefully these refugees will be able to find
peace if only temporary.
Praying that an end to this horrible tradgedy is near and that all remain
safe.

In a newspaper I have seen a photo of a child from
Kosovo. Picture was maken at 3 of april in Kukes Albania by an albanian Photografer
Armando Barzani.
Is it possible to find this child now in
Albania. I would like to make color photo of this child and will give it to all refugee
camps there so i can help this child an its family. Maybe there are some people wo will
distribute these pictures.
I have already make picture for the camps in
the netherlands but here only come refugees from Macedonia. Maybe i will come to look for
this child in Albanie but the UNCHR says to me that it will be very difficult to do that
of the
albanian government. I haven written to all

How devastating for the Albanians to be forced from their homes, to lose
their lives due to the brutality of Milosovic's military. How sad for
mankind to have people who are so void of empathy for human life as to
perform brutality against another person. Your soul cannot help but
weep for their plight.

all hearts be touched with compassion and forgiveness. We pray that soon
you may find peace and be able to go home! Your sister

I have written before. This is to pass along information to the many, many
people who have inquired how they can help the refugees coming to the U.S. Please
contact your local Catholic Charities organization to inquire if refugees might be coming
to your city. Catholic Charities is one of the largest, if not the largest, aid
orgaizations helping the refugees in the Balkans. Catholic Charities is looking for
volunteers of all kind--host families to take in refugees, support in the areas of
transportation, education/communication, etc. I have volunteered to help in San
Antonio although the local office is unsure when and if refugees will be coming here.
However, they are prepared, bless them. Today the first 400 arrived in the
United States, and what a beautiful welcome they received. I am especially proud of
all the people at Fort Dix who have done such a superb job fixing up the installation.
If you would like to express your appreciation to them, go into the Ft. Dix web
site under the Commanding Officer and send him an E-mail. To all the refugees I say:
we are with you all the way, and God be with each and every one of you. To the
others who will be coming to the United States we Americans welcome you with open arms and
hearts.

What is happening in Kosova is reprehensible, barbaric and uncivilised. I
cannot believe that thugs like Milosovec exist in the tail end of this
century let alone head a country.
Our hearfelt sympathies to all people who are embroiled in this outrage, and
especially the Kosovar refugees.

To the Albanian people of Kosova,
After looking at the pictures of
the massacres on your website and
also the news reports of continuing Serb atrocities against the Albanian
people in Kosova, I feel compelled to send you another letter of support.
As a religious Jew and a human
being, I am absolutely horrified by
the pictures of the massacres on your website. When I saw the picture of the
dead bodies in the ditch, I thought of the killing ravines where my own
people, the Jews, were murdered by the Nazis in Eastern Europe in the 1940's.
I read the account of the man who survived the massacre of 68 men in his
village, and I thought of the account of a Jew who survived 2 Nazi massacres.
The lists of destroyed villages and victims of massacres remind me of the
greatest tragedy in Jewish history.
I have no words to express my grief
over the accounts of people who
watched their sons and relatives being murdered before their very eyes. I am
appalled by reports that the Serbs ordered a refugee convoy to halt, took 100
men out, and shot them. I simply cannot believe the Serb atrocities. The
pictures of murdered families remind me of Stalinist Russia and Saddam
Hussein's Iraq.
It's time to stop calling the Serb
crimes against humanity in
Kosova by the euphemism of "ethnic cleansing" and start calling it what it
is: genocide.
Please be assured that I am doing
everything I can to support you,
and that the Jewish people worldwide stand in solidarity with the Albanian
people of Kosova at a time of terrible calamity for your people.
Sincerely,
Rebecca Witonsky

I cannot begin to express my sadness and incredulity at the united states
government's actions in Kosova. There is growing anger and dismay over
Clinton's weak, politically motivated actions, yet Americans have become too
fat, lazy, and interested in the stock market. There are no revolutions on a
full stomach, and the American people are too full of themselves and their
things to fully see that war is hell.
I send, to everyone involved and being consumed by this war, my deepest
sympathies and my most sincere prayers for peace.

I asked a couple of weeks ago if the KLA has a website. Do they
have a website. It isn't that hard to make one with multiple pages. Anyway.... Does the
KLA have a website. The photo you have on the page http://www.alb-net.com/kosovahelp/fight.htm doesn't
give enough definition to the type of rifles used to be able to find out even that about
the persons you are asking for help for. If there are any more bans of differant types of
guns in America you might like to have an option of picking some of those up through the
USA government. Try to have some fun while you are worried about completing any tasks.
Have fun,

I firmly support the Albanian people living in
Kosovo. I believe that they have the right to decide their own fate and declare
independence. The Yugoslavian Government has no right to drive the Albanian people out of
Kosovo and it is a crime to try to kill them and torture them. I feel sympathy for the
Albanian people and hope that in the end they will be independent with the help of
international society. I am sure that they will.

Trying to help in what small ways I can, I have been writing to
politicians in France and Britain about the need to help Kosova.
I would also like to be able to express to the Macedonian
government that, in spite of their problems, they must treat the Kosovar refugees in a
decent way, and that the eyes of the world are upon them when they do things like closing
the border.
The problem is, I heven't managed to find an address to write
to.
Can anyone give me the address of a Macedonian embassy in
France, Britain, or elsewhere ? Or an address to write to in Macedonia itself in
order to put pressure on the government.
Thank you, and all good wishes to you

Dear Sir(s) or Maam(s),
We are able and willing to take a family into our home. We have a two
story 4+ bedroom house and we are only two (husband and wife) living in
it. Our property is 1/2 of the city block so there is plenty of room
for them. Our income is not considered high, but we like to share what
we have and wish to help. If your agencies can get the family here,
(pay the airfare) we will be very happy to help these people out.
Thank you for your attention,
William and Diane Bockemuehl

May your courage strengthen you in these difficult days. But President

Greetings,
I commend the government of Albania as well as the people of Albania for the
part they are playing in easing the heavy burden of so many Kosovars in this
trying time.
The citizens of the United States not only support our government / NATO but
we support those of you assisting these "forced" refugees. Although it may
seem that we in the U.S. are very wealthy, most of us in fact work very hard
to make ends meet yet rest assured, all of us are and will continue to
contribute as much money and any tangible items needed along with our prayers.
The road ahead will be a long one but please know that millions of Americans
will support Albania and Kosovars just as much as we support our armed forces
for as long as it takes even though you may not see our faces. Truth and
justice will prevail but in the mean time, consider this one e-mail from me
as if it came from every American because I assure you I speak for all of us.
(With the exception of some Serb/Americans of course)
May the peace and comfort of God be felt by everyone affected by this
horrible war.
A fellow human being from Florida, United States of America.

hi,
I am a student from a high school in Wisconsin, and I am doing a project
about genocide. I was wondering if you or someone that you know could help
me about what is going on in Kosova. If you could answer a few questions it
would really help my report.
1. What is Slobodan Milosevic doing to the Albanian people inside of Kosova?
2. Is he commiting an act of genocide? How is he commiting it?
3.What do the Kosova-Albanians want to end this crisis?
4.How does this incident compare to other incidents of genocide in the past,
the holocaust and the cambodian tragedy?
5.What proof is there that the Serbs are commiting genocide?
If you or someone who you know that knows something about this could help me
by answering these questions, I would greatly appreciate it. If you want to
add something that is important that I didn't ask about, please do that also.
Thanks, Andrew

Dear Kosovars:
WELCOME TO CANADA
These three words seem too small to convey the sincerity and joy we
feel in receiving you into our community. Once some of the shock has
subsided and you have settled in, we hope you will see this community
and our country as the wonderful place it is.
Canada's reputation as the best place in the world to live is well
founded. Here, you are free from religious persecution. Here, you can
walk without fear. In Canada, prejudice is not tolerated.
Leaving home voluntarily is never easy. Being forced to flee your
native country is incomprehensible. Surely, most of you are anxious for
peace so your family can return home. But we encourage you to consider
staying here for there are so many opportunities.
The first few years will be the hardest; getting used to our
traditions, learning our language and getting used to the idea of
becoming Canadian. But don't let this overwhelm you. There is lots of
help available as proven by the mountains of donations collected within
days of learning of your pending arrival. This community and our nation
will reach out and embrace those have suffered so much.
In this country, hard work is rewarded. After all, every Canadian
was, at some point in their family history, an immigrant. We are a
nation of immigrants and in many cases also refugees. But this is a land
of opportunity, especially for your children. We have a first-rate
education system, willing service clubs and generous volunteers to
provide you with assistance.
Should you choose to return home, our only hope is that you will
take with you a small part of Canada in your heart. For you already have
a place in ours.
Publisher/Owner of this newspaper company
and a 1952 immigrant.

The existence of a stubborn Pan-Slavism in Russia has been surprising (
after 70+ years of official "internationalism") but known to us for some
time now (eg. Pamyat ) but the apparent extent of its virulence really
is shocking. Only after reading Vanora Bennett's book on the Russian war
against the Chechen nation have I been able to appreciate the murderous
intentions Pan-Slavic fanticists harbour to ALL indigenous nations
"blocking" their path to the seas ( for Serbs ,the Medittereanean , for
Russians , the Black Sea , and in wilder flights of geopolitical fancy ,
also the Meditteranean ). Chechens and Kosavars enrage the Slavic
fundamentalists simply as a result of their very existence as (mostly)
Islamic indigenes. As the secularization of traditionally Muslim
societies increases , so the Orthodox bigots are consumed with ever more
lurid visions of Saudi or Iranian - derived Jihads ( they might also
care to whip the ancient terror of "the Turk" into pliable shape for use
).The Chechens may yet find their incredibly hard-won independence under
resumed attack , but their example offers incentive to the liberation
struggle of the KLA : both Russia and Serbia , bristling with armaments
and seething with resentment for the supposed arrogance of stripling
junior partners in the old Soviet / Yugoslav federations , emerged from
the collapse of "Communism " unable to exterminate long-held campaigns
for independence.

The last update that I can see is April 20th. Has the link gone down?
One plane has landed tonight in Australia with about 400 refugees.
They'll be OK, but what is happening over there?

Thank you for the excellent resource you provide for those of us
wanting to help the refugees from Kosovo. You may want to update
your page on "10 Ways to suport the People of Kosova." Point 2 urges
us to write to our congressperson "to support a blanket amnesty for
Kosovar refugees seeking asylum in the US. Protest against their
being kept at the Guantanamo Bay Military Base in Cuba." It is my
understanding that the U.S. is no longer planning to send refugees to
Cuba. A Reuters article from April 26 states:
"An earlier plan to send Kosovo refugees to the U.S. naval base at
Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, was scrapped after the U.N. High Commissioner
for Refugees and others said the ethnic Albanians would suffer in the
confined, tropical conditions."
story.html?s=v/nm/19990426/ts/yugoslavia_usa_refugees_4.html)
Perhaps you could tell us what the current plan is concerning U.S.
support for the refugees and how we should be urging our
congresspeople now.
Thanks.

Can Australia help with books and pencils and paper for school-aged
children? If you can sepcify the needs for the tent cities, I will

I am curious...somewhere I read that first refugees being allowed in the U.S.
would be refugees with families already here and also children without parents. I would
like to know the status on the latter. We could take in a child that lost its parents and
would be happy to do so, whether it was for a temporary period of time, until relatives
could be found, OR permanently.
Is there something like that currently underway? Please inform me...

NATO's primary task is to come to the aid of the Kosovo people. It does
it by means of bombing Yugoslavian military targets.
This support was desparately needed and necessary.
However, NATO's help to the refugees is by far not enough. Especially
the British and the Americans seem to do next to nothing to help the
refugees outside Kosovo.
Bombing seems to the the primary task instead of people.
Hardly 20% of the Yugoslav military has been hit.
More and more civilian targets are hit, in fact so many that one may
wonder if NATO has control over its personnel or own weapons.
A limited number of criminals under leadership of Milosevic are to blame
and should be eliminated. One can wonder if bombing is the right answer
as hardly any harm has been done to the Yugoslav military in spite of
what is said (hardly 20%), and the fact that the population seems to be
rather united behind Milosevic. A population intended not to be targeted
but suffering nevertheless. Many misses, often no elctricity and water.
Electricity the military has plenty of by using generators.
In spite of all the assurances that it will be over soon, it seems NATO
is stepping up the bombing in the hope to prevent a public failure.
NATO has lost this war, no doubt about that as the cleansing is almost
completed.
NATO has lost as there are no signs that in a diplomatic solution,
Milosevic will disappear.
NATO has lost as seen to the cost to come compared to the cost the enemy
has suffered.
NATO has lost as seen to the fact that there is insufficient help from
the nato goverments for the refugees.
NATO has lost though apparently speaking with one voice, public opinion
is gradually changing.
Please do more for the refugees, help Macedonia and Albania.
Yours respectfully,
N. Boersma (the Netherlands)

Dear Sirs:
My name is Sharon and I am a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital in
Portland, Maine. I have come up with an idea to raise money for the Kosovo
refugees that is too good to keep to myself.
At our hospital, you can buy back your vacation time for cash. I started a
campaign called donate "a day of play" for Kosovo. I traded in one
vacation day for cash and donated it to Kosovo. Many of my colleagues have
followed suit and we have raised almost $7,000.
This campaign got some local publicity, and I was bombarded with phone
calls from employees of other companies who wanted to do the same thing,
donate a "day of play" for Kosovo. I sent them information on how to get
the campaign started at their own place of work.
My intent is to make this campaign a nationwide effort to raise money for
Kosovo. The money we raised is going to Doctors of the World, a New York
based organization that sends doctors, nurses and medical supplies to the
borders to get medical care set up where it is needed.
Doctors of the World was so impressed by this campaign, that they plan on
taking it over and spreading the word nationwide. If you would like more
information on this simple, effective and painless way to donate a large
sum of money from people like you and me, please feel free to contact me.
Thanks for listening. Keep up the good reporting!

Friends of Kosova:
We share your grief.Hereunder is a letter with presentation written in French which
we sent to the French language media. But, in writing it we also had in mind the Kosovars
and Albanians. Thus, should you want to translate it into Albanian and circulate it please
feel free to do so. However, in view of the cruelty of the text we leave this up to your
good judgement. You will understand, we hope, that this communication was written in
heartbreaking terms so as to move the hearts and minds of those who are far from the
action and subjected to media disinformation. S.B and L-PB.
Boujour,

To All Kosavar Refugees,
I live in America and I want you to know that the people in my country care
about you and want to help you in any way we can. Milosavich and his
followers need to be brought to justice. They have committed crimes against
humanity and we will not stand by and let it happen. We will continue to
bomb until they agree to withdraw all their military forces and allow an
armed international force into Kosovo to ensure your safety and restore your
basic right of electing your own leaders. This isn't the first time
Milosivich has persecuted people. We remember what he did in Bosnia and
Croatia. He preaches Serbian Nationalism and superiority which is contrary to
any Christian belief.
Our prayers are with you and God bless you all.
Sincerely,
Bonnie Walker

My name is Chris
Pattinson. I live in Tasmania, Australia. Next Tuesday, the 11th of May approximately 400
Kosova refugees will be temporarily housed at "Safe Haven", a disused army
barracks. This is approximately 10 minutes drive from my home.
I have both a
military and police background but am now retired. I am 45 years of age. It is my
understanding that the refugees will be cared for by certain aid agencies. However, I
would like to do what I can for these people whilst they are our guests. Although I do not
speak Albanian, if any of them contacts you or you have contact with them and some kind of
assistance is required I would be more than pleased to oblige.

news.

We are thinking of you each and every day with all
the love in our hearts. We hope that all your poeple will be liberated soon. I hope nato
will send ground troups in, and protect you all until you are strong enough to stand
alone, in a fully fledged democracy. I hope and pray that Milosovich is completely and
utterly defeated, and tried, along wwith all his militia, for war crimes. God be with you.

Dear Congressman Boucher,
I want to urge your support for HR 1425 IH, the Kosovar
Independence and
Justice Act of 1999. At this point in time, I see NO REALISTIC WAY that the
people of Kosova can survive without being a STRONG AND INDEPENDENT entity.
Mr. Milosevic's actions RIVAL that of Hilter, possibly exceeding them in some
cases. Spending just five minutes at the "Kosova Crisis Center",
http://www.alb-net.com, is enough to convince anyone
of the NEED for HR 1425
IH. We must ACT before it is TOO LATE!!!
Thank you very much!!!
Sincerely,
Robert W. Walker

I was a verifier with the OSCE in Skanderi, and Mitrovica.
I am worried as to what has happened to the many local people who worked
with the OSCE as interpreters, drivers and guards.
Is it possible to get info on their whereabouts?

As your Web site documents, the West's actions--from the so-called peace
talks to the intentionally ineffective air strikes to the continued
refusal to send ground troops or to arm the KLA--have been intended to
accelerate Kosova's "humanitarian disaster" rather than to end it. As
reports of atrocities continue to increase, it should be clear that the
extermination of the Kosovar Albanians is the West's goal. Sending food
to refugees is one thing, but what can Americans sympathetic to the
Albanians' cause do to oppose President Clinton's contribution to the
genocide? I would appreciate any information your organization could
provide.
Thank you,

basically, i do support NATO attacks on
Milosevic' s regime, so my point of view is quite clear about the subject. The question
I'd like to ask you is whether there is some support from leading intellectuals and
distinguished poeple (writers, scientists, former politicians, etc.) that expressed and
explained publicly their standpoint in the question "yes" or "not" to
NATO's bombing. Could you forward me a list of the names or links to websites where I'd
find out more about the subject?

Two days ago the KLA fought quite a battle in and near Djakovica. From the
lack of information I can only assume they were crushed. Even when the KLA
loses I wish you would report it.
Every day there are more KLA and less Serbs, so I think victory is
inevitable. But more information, even bad news, is something I think you
should report.

We are book distributors in Australia. We are receiving enquiries on
behalf of aid organisations and libraries and government departments for
books for recreational reading for children and adult refugees currently
arriving in Australia from Kosovo. Are you able to supply a list of titles
you have available, or provide a contact name and email for any other
Bookstores who may be able to provide resources to assist with the settling
of these refugees. Australia are expecting to host 4,000 refugees over the
next few months. I look forward to hearing from you.

To whom it may concern...
We would like to send some emergency life support drugs, for example,
adrenaline, atropine, aminophylline and many many others, which we no longer
require at our clinical research unit.
All of the drugs are in date and I am sure, would be of benefit to you.
In order for me to send these drugs to the correct place I need some further
information. Where is the best place to send these drugs and is there a
contact number or something?
Sorry to be so vague, but I have no idea where to begin, please could you
help..
We hope that we can be of service to you..
With thanks and kindest regards

Dear Webmaster,
After careful review by our Information Specialist staff, we've deemed
your Web site a valuable resource and have added it to the Galaxy
Directory - http://www.galaxy.com/.
Launched in January of 1994, Galaxy was the first major
directory/search engine on the Internet, and is one of the most
respected names on the Web. Galaxy's goal is to provide the public
with a high-quality gateway to the best of the Web. We also build,
with our partners and customers, specialized directories that are
highly focused on particular topics. Galaxy's high volume of traffic,
consistently ranking it among the Web's top sites, makes a listing in
Galaxy a valuable asset for any Web site.

Is it possible for you to post this on your Web site. The event takes
place
in Chicago, Illinois. Thank you.
On Friday, May 14th from 8 to 10 p.m. there will be a wine and cheese party
to benefit Kosovar Refugees at the nightclub CIRCUS. CIRCUS is located at
901 West Weed Street (west of Clybourn and North Avenue). A $15 dollar
donation will be collected at the door, which will cover wine and cheese and
admission to the club after the benefit.
Proceeds will benefit the family reunification program for Kosovar refugees
coordinated by the American Red Cross and Operation Kosovo, an initiative of
Chicago-Kent College of Law.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees estimates that nearly
875,000 refugees from Kosovo have left the province since the start of the
conflict in March 1998. These refugees have found shelter and support in
over 20 countries. The American Red Cross will work with Operation Kosovo,
Chicago-Kent and other relief organizations to make refugee information
available on-line so that families can be reunited.
Please forward this email to all your friends and anyone you think will be
interested. Thank you in advance for your support. If you have any
questions, please contact IV Ashton at (312) 906-5005.

I greet you in the name of my Imperial Majesty, Haile Selassie I. I am a
Rastafarian, which simply means in little words, a man GOD. I am
outraged at what has taken place in Kosovo. The Americans here call it a
Crisis but I simply call it a WAR. This is an atrocity against the
Ethnic Albanian as like it was against the Jews. Since we did we(man)
decide on who should live and who should die because of Ethnic
backgrounds and religious beliefs. What we've done is made ourselves
above all human authority and we've taken the roll of GOD. In the end,
GOD will be the final judge against the oppressors in this WAR, no
matter who so called wins or loses. We the whole world should make a
stand against this humaniantarian disaster. Stanley

Hello, we are a few students from Lakeview Jr. High in the United
States. We are currently doing a project at the moment concerning the
thoughts and feelings of the crisis in Kosovo. We would like to ask you a
few questions, if you don't mind giving us some insight to these questions.
1. What are your thoughts and feelings about the United States and the
country's economy?
2. What is like living in the middle of a war?
3. How are the conditions in Kosovo at the present time?
4. Is it very hard to get food and other needed necessities?
Thank you very much for taking some of your time out to read this, and please
answer back as soon as possible!
Sincerely,
Lakeview's Students

I have just learned of your web site and have been reading with pain in my
heart of the many facts, pictures, history, etc. you have compiled. I am an
Albanian American in the Worcester, MA area, and have been actively involved
within our church (St. Mary's Albanian Orthodox Church)and the Albanian
community to raise funds for the Kosova refugees. Our church has
established a fund and have to date raised $96,000. Part of our funds our
used to help NEARO (New England Albanian Relief Organization) ship items of
clothing, food and medicine as they have been providing relief to Albania
for almost 10 years. In fact the first shipment is scheduled to arrive any
day now, and we will be shipping another at the end of this month.
I would be happy to hear from you in terms of input to directing our efforts
in the future as we know our task has just begun.
Thank you for all you are doing. It is difficult to be an Albanian here and
feel so helpless toward our people. My only contacts in Albania are my
cousins in Tirana. Please let me know if you are near this area as you may
know them.
I look forward to hearing from you.

I know that no matter how hard I
try to tell you how terrible I feel about all this, I can't. Is just that I can't
understand why people have to be killing each other like that. It breaks my heart to
see how many young and innocent people had died because of this madness. I know that
there is a God out there that have recieved in his arms those peoples, specially those
children.
And for those murderers,
they will pay. I'm sure about that, because something like this will not be
forgoten.
I live in a Caribbean
Island called Puert Rico where our first language is Spanish, so forgive me for the
spelling. I will be praying for all of you and rebember that you are not
along. The whole War is watching and we will not forget.
From the bottom of my
heart, Natura.
