March 30, 1999 THANKS
TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SENT THE ALBANIAN PEOPLE MESSAGES OF SUPPORT. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
--
I'm reading your messages. I admire your
courage! I really don't know how to help you. We hope the NATO will succeed. But we are afraid of the horrible serbian police, because of we are
reading all the things they do to the Albanian people of Kossova. When I'm looking to the
televion I mostly see fugitives by the borders of Montenegro, Macedonie or Albanie. The
most of them are women, children and old people. I don't want to believe the serbian
chetnics have killed all those husbands, fathers and sons. I hope the most of them are in
the Albanian army. I don't know what I can do for you and what I have to write, because I
know very well that this email cannot really help you. It feels very powerless. But I want to wish you all very much strength. We will read your messages,
I hope the serbian chetnics will be punished someday. I feel like a witness because I can
read all your messages. Very very much love to all of
you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I fully support the U.S.A AND NATO for taking action
which ifelt was long overdue. I hope and pray to ALLAH that they succeed but i still feel
there is a need for ground troops to be deplyed in this operation. I hope this new HITLER
in europe rots in hell for the crimes he has committed towards humanity. It is also my
view that KOSOVO should not be given autonomy but INDEPENDENCE because every human being /
nation has the right to self detemination and i do not think the people of kosova will
ever forgive/forget what the serbs have done to them. As for my self i am trying to raise
support and awareness for what is happening in Europe also i am gathering together funds
as well as clothing for the refugees within this war torn land. I would also like to say
that the majority of public opinion of Britain is behind there government 100%.

To my
Albanian brothers and sisters, I am an albanian from macadonia living in
chicago. Our hearts and prayers go out to all off you
in this time of horrific distress. We are doing what we can over here as far as rasing money and demonstating. We had one thousand supporters at a ralley in chicago yesterday. I know it is in no comparison to what you must be going through I can not even beging to imagine the horror you have witnessed. But please believe me when I say that we are trying to do what we can from our side. Please take care of yourselves, and may god look after you
until this nightmare has come to an end. And just know that you
have many supporters not just albanians in this cause. I would like to hear
from someone, I know it is difficult but we would like to know what is really going on.
Thank You Bajram Dalipi Chicago, Il

citizens of Kosova: It is with great sorrow that I witness the
atrocious crimes being committed against your people. As a Mother of three sons, my
prayers are with those of you with children and without...and all of you that are

I have read your reports and I can't believe the horror that is going on
over there. I guess because I live in a quiet little town in America, it
just blows my mind to think that one group of people can treat another
group of people in this manner. I know things are not perfect in my
country but it's a wonderful country to live in. When I read and see the
things happening in your country (and it's neighbors) it just makes me feel
so grateful and so proud to be an American.
I wish there was something I personally could do to help ease your
suffering and your fear.
I will pray for you.

Dear folks,
Thank you for your very informative coverage of the events in Kosova
and
the matters that eventualy affect us all on this planet; that of human
rights and the right of a people to simply exist. I have sent your website
on to others, printed off copies to show others at work, and included some
of it in letters to our congresional delegates to spur them to action and
give full support to stop the killing of the innocent in Kosova.
Though deeply disturbing, the past few days have torn away any thin
veil
of supposed humanity remaining from Milosevic and expossed him for what he
truly is: a murdering terrorist of the grandest scale with absolutly no
qualms about the irradication of all and anything non slavic from the
Balkins. This should have been understood by the world community after his
orchestrating from behind the senes the massacure of Srebrenican muslims in
1995. By the size of the events going on today, Srebrinica is turning out
to be a simple serb practice excercise.
As a father of 4 daughters ages 21 to 6 years old my heart goes out to
the
Albanians of Kosova and the suffering they are enduring at the hands of
those who ought to be helping them, namely their local goverment officials.
Here in the western US there is talk among some of us that it's time to get
ready and send in the Troops
from our country to protect those in harms way and bring the perpetrators
to justice in La Hague.
Know that all of this is not going on without eyes watching you,
prayers
said in your behalf, and letters wrote to those who have been elected and
appointed to resolve this.
Sincerly,

Hello,
I am a US citizen and have reading all the news about Kosovo with horror! I
cannot believe this is actually happening in Europe. I don't know how rulers
like Milosevic gain power. I hope that what NATO is doing will help rather
than hurt Yugoslavia and especially the Albanians. I have been corresponding
with some people in your area of Europe and have gotten mixed views about the
outcome of the bombing. My heart goes out to all of you and I pray this
situation will end soon without furthur bloodshed.

I know it of little consulation to you at the moment but the authorities
here in Britain say that all the atrocities are being notified and the
people responsible will eventually be made to face there crimes, hopefully
by a death sentence.
The news said today that the planes are to target the Thugs in Kosovo
meaning I hope the tanks and if possible the individual units that involved
in the genocide.
My thoughts go out to you.

Hello,
I am sorry to bother you with a message sent to two different e-mail
addresses, but I have an urgent request.
I am the news editor of one of the largest student newspapers in Canada,
publishing in Fredericton, NB. I am sick and tired of students here
talking about "it's not our fight" in Kosova, and am making something of a
stand. In this week's edition, the citizens of this sleepy little town in
Canada will awake to find that the front page of the newspaper is entirely
devoted to coverage of Serb attrocities in Kosova, including photos of dead
men, women and children.
To put my package together, I need to (a) interview people and (b) obtain
high resolution photos of the results of Serb attrocities in Kosova.
I beg you, could someone please e-mail me or call me (COLLECT is fine) so
that I can find out how (a) to obtain properly-formatted images and (b)
interview people at the Kosova Crisis Centre? I have searched your site
for a telephone number, but have found none.
I urgently away your response -- my deadline to have interviews and photos
done is TOMORROW, Tuesday, 30 March at 7:00pm Atlantic time.
I remain exceptionally grateful for any assistance you may be able to render.
Sincerely,
Pat.

Dear comrades,
I earnestly hope that NATO forces will soon supply you with necessary
equipment to drive the Serbian criminals out of your part of the world.
Let me ask you something;
Was Hitler a war criminal?
If you answered in the positive, then it stands to reason that
Milosevic is one too, and should be tried in the Hague for his crimes
against humanity and executed, but then in the Netherlands, the death
penalty is no longer valid.
I am against separatists, no matter where they are, except when their
people are genuinely persecuted and murdered.
Keep up the good fight in the knowledge that in the end , Milosevic and
his band of criminals will be judged by the wor;ld for what they are.
Your country will eventually be freed of the tyrant.

To whom it may concern,
I am an albanian-american living in Paris, France. Since the start of
the bombings in Serbia there has been much conflict amongst what is
happening between Kosovo and the former Yoguslavia. Here in Paris the
media seems to be one sided...Serbian. I have had trouble getting the
word across that what is happening in Kosovo must be stopped. Here, the
majority seems to think that the serbs have been hurt and are being
destroyed by the bombing of NATO. The problem is that there are very few
Albanians here in France; in fact the ratio of serbs to Albanians is
outrageous! I have family in Albania and friends in Kosovo who are very
concerned about what tomorrow will bring. I have been deeply scarred by
what is happening for some time now. I want to do everything in my power
to help in any way possible. No one here understands exactly the pain
and misery that is extracted on those in Kosovo. Like I said the media
in France has taken the worst possible extremities to show all that has
been done to the serbian population.
The french are against the bombings of NATO and all that is going on.
Every day you hear about demonstrations taking place in front of the
american embassy against NATO and saying that Clinton=Hitler. That is
extremely depressing to me because the two countrys to which I belong
are being descriminated against.
I think that what Clinton and all the parties of NATO are doing could
not be better. If Clinton had not made the first step none of the
European countries would have done anything to stop the mascerades. I
can not speak for all European countrys, only from what I observe in
France which says that the french do not care about the outside problems
unless it affects them directly.
When you enter into the subway in Paris the majority of the stations
have been grafitied with markings and symbols from those against the
bombings...only worse..against the US and Clinton. Tonight I entered
into the subway and found the words " Clinton=Hitler" written everywhere
in the station Assemble Nationale. I kindly took out my black marker and
marked out what was written only to rewrite "KLA and NATO=forces to make
peace for albanians"....
People here accuse the United States of being agressive killers and war
seekers. They say that they are trying to be the dominating world power.
I have only one thing to say: Someone must do it and thank god that the
United States has the courage and the power to help those in need.
I am looking for albanian contacts in Paris. I feel alone in here and
would like someone to talk to about our problems and a shoulder to cry
on. If anyone would like to share information I am here to confort. I
can only pray that very soon this awful problem will be corrected and
stopped the most humaine way possible IN CH ALLAH.....My love and
prayers go out to all who are suffering from this tragedy.
With all my sympathy and regards to albanians everywhere,

Hello:
I have no words to describe what I feel as I watch helplessly as your
people are tortured
by the new 'Hitler'.
Your suffering is not going unnoticed - I have been following this
holocaust constantly, and it is still hard to believe that 'Man's
inhumanity to man" is alive and well.
Milosovich HAS to be stopped!! I still cannot believe a human being
could do these atrocities to other human beings. I never believed
another holocaust would come about, especially in my lifetime.
Milosovich's next stop will be the Hague or Hell!!!
I only wish I could do something - but what?
My prayers go out to all Albanians. My hope is for a future filled
with peace. love, happiness and the Albanian's lands returned to them.
With hope for your future,

Excellent web site, offers a great deal of information on the atrocities
in Kosovo.
It's ethnic cleansing that's going on, plain and simple. Civilians are

Dear Albanians,

American of Croatian descent. I have been following Serbian aggression
since the 1990's. I am behind the Albanians 100% and am I full support
of the NATO bombings. I believe that 'Butcher' Milosevic would have
forced the ethnic Albanian's out of Kosovo weather NATO would have
started bombing or not. I would love to correspond to people my age
that live in the area. Please pass my email address (chadyost@vail.net)

the Kosovo boarder.

I am terrified about the situation in Kosovo and I have written letters
to our Norwegian prime minister, the German channcelor and the president

When it comes to pratical actions, is it something I can do to help the

send money, please, give me information where to send.
If there are any international organizations which apply pressures on
the Allied forces to intensify their military actions in Kosovo, please

Please tell me, if there are any other way I can contribute to stop the
genocide going on in Kosovo.

Dear fiends !
I am a norwegian engineer who was visiting Pristina in December last year.
We were working in the OSCE HQ. During that period we got a lot of friends
in Pristina (Albanian and serbs !), working for OSCE. We have heard horrible
rumours, but nothing confirmed regarding executions of some of the staff
used to work for OSCE in Pristina. Personally I want to know if any
information is available about what has happened and in particular to the
albanians working in the press office. We are following the ongoing tragedy
in Kosovo every day and support what ever that can stop the serbian assault,
but the only personal contribution I can offer, is to pray. I would highly
appreciate any response to my message.

I see the young man of 9 or 10 years of age, on CNN, he is also on their
website, I want to help him and his family in ANY way possible, I cannot
offer an explanation except this is something I feel I MUST do. I cannot
bear the thought of the pain he is feeling, I know there are so many
more, but I want to offer my assistance to that young man specifically.
Each time that segment is ran on CNN, I am overwhelmed with emotions. I
have prayed to God, as well as my fiance', Angela. We have 2 boys and 1
girl, and the thought that the young man I keep seeing is completely
feeling lost, is tearing me apart inside. I must do something to help
him and his family. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know who he is and how I
can help. If his family needs transport to the United States, I will do
whatever it takes to get them here safely. My family will gladly offer
our home, they are welcome to stay here with us.
I will continue to pray
and wait, thank you

May God bless you all with the strength to survive these horrors you
endure.
I want you to know that we all in Canada pray for you and for your
freedom, and that we will help in all ways possible. Be assured that those who
suffered, suffer no more, and that God will be the judge of these crimes against you. My
prayers go out to you and your people.

My name is
<Name Withheld>. I am Albanian from Kosovo. My wife and I
left Kosovo as refugees in 1992 and are living in UK. We left our parents and friends over
there and cannot believe we will never see them again. Kosovo is under brutality of the
Yugoslav war machine, of criminals in paramilitary formation. NATO cannot be blamed for massacres and humanitarian catastrophe. This has
been planned a long time ago, even before Milosevic was born. It was just a matter of who
would be leader when time came for it to be carried out. Serbia is showing its face now,
what Serbs are capable of doing to unprotected Albanians. It is surprising that the
democratic Serbian opposition is not reacting and raising its voice to tell the nation
about the ethnic "cleansing" being carried out, certainly under Milosevic's
order. I never heard them opposing the government - instead they are complaining against
the USA and NATO intervention. Do they have any feelings at all for what Albanians are
suffering? Last night I managed to speak to one of my
friends in Pristina. My friend told me that people are being tortured and killed and their
bodies have been removed outside Pristina, perhaps to Serbia. Pristina is almost 100 per
cent "cleansed". People who are still in Pristina don't know what the next hour
will bring to them. I heard my friend's children crying and they don't know how to calm
them. They are not free to go out and they have very little food left. They kept asking
what the West can do for them. I have no doubt that Milosevic and his personnel who are
responsible for what is happen in Kosovo will one day be brought to war crimes tribunal in
Hague but this will be after many, many lives of innocent children and old people have
been lost and Kosovo ethnically cleansed. Stopping the present bombardment would mean
speeding up the ethnic cleansing. We hope the British & other NATO pilots flying over
Kosovo will be OK. Good luck and our fingers are crossed for them.

It does not matter what religion differences there are. This is a VERY
tragic situation.
In believe that we ( Canadians) must request our Government to take in as
many of the refugees. We can't let the suffering go on this long.
I do not have the time to organize an effort, but if there is an
organization that is raising funds, I'll help raise funds.

Dear KLA,
AND ALL FIGHTERS FOR FREEDOM.
I am from Malta which has been Independent from the
British Government for more than 30 years. We were lucky; it was easy for us because the
British did not want us anymore, anyway. It was like when a marriage comes to an end
without love; parting is easy. I must tell you that I admire your sheer guts in fighting
very experienced, well equipped, and savage Serbian troops. Do your best. I am sorry that the
NATO attacks, in a way, did more harm than good, initially, because it made retaliation by
the Serbs on your populations even more savage. NATO was only, sincerely, trying to help.
Now they have changed tactics, and are ready to attack Serb forces from the air using
armour piercing ammunition against Serb tanks. I also hear, in the latest news, that Italy
may be set to allow refugees into their country. Keep us informed of your efforts, and of
the fighting through your website.
May your God go with You.

Italian:
Kosova libero e indipendente!

We are a news agency based in London and have been covering the NATO
campaign from the capital, interviewing Albanians living here and
reporting on demonstrations outside the Houses of Parliament.
We supply all the national papers in England and Scotland and would be
very interested in obtaining eyewitness accounts of life in Kosovo and
any Serb atrocities so we can get them published over here.
Any pictures that could be scanned in and sent to us would be most
welcome as well.
We would need names, but obviously these could be made up to protect the
identities of the writers/photographers.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Jim Leffman, Head of News

There are many of us in the US who oppose the terrible things the Serbs are
doing. As a general pacifist, I find myself in favor of the NATO activity, and if that
fails to bring an end to tradgedy being perpetrated against Kosova, I've communicated my
support for ground troups to bring this to a swift end.

French:
Mesdames et messieurs,
Désolé, de ne pouvoir vous écrire en
anglais.

I sent that "Letter from Pristina" to President Clinton and urged him
to read it on the air.
It is one of the saddest things I've ever read, reminiscent of the Anne
Frank diaries.
It also dispels one of the main arguments used by anti-Clinton
commentators in the West, that Albanian muslims are against his bombing
policy and see themselves as victims of it. I urge you to send a copy
to every major television network here and abroad. Ditto for public
radio sources and newspapers. I have no doubt that many newspapers
would be glas to publish it.
Best of luck. Frank Glodek
PS: I'd like to send you posts in which I argue that, in light of
Milosovitch's ethnic cleansing, an independent Kosovo is the only
workable long-run solution. Autonomy won't work after this.

In your daily newsletter you recently made references between serbian
massacres. You wrote: "Remember Sebrenica, Vukovar and Drenica". Is that
accurate? I couldn't find the passade when I looked again.

Hello.
I'm Sue Kim, a staff writer of Chosun Ilbo(the Chosun Daily), Seoul, Korea. It is a
time-honored newspaper with established reputation printing more than 2 million copies a
day. It is regarded as one of the most important news source in East Asia. I'm trying to
inform my people about the tragedy happening in Kosovo. I'd deliever the very own voice of
a Kosovar, and I am trying to get some eye-witness accounts of events within Kosovo
itself.Telephones lines are down quite often, and I do not have any personal connection
there. So, I need your help badly. Can you put me in touch with people there so we can
find out how it really is for those on the ground?
I can be contacted back at this e-mail address. Please help. Thank you.
