THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SENT THE ALBANIAN PEOPLE MESSAGES OF SUPPORT. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

--

Hi, There's a lot of Canadians who support you, certainly amongst my circle of friends. Have a 'feed-back' area for us to get our voice of support in! If I knew what your flag looked like (my apoligies) I'd fly it! I'm a retired (and experienced) soldier and if I was 20 years younger, I'd be there with you. I'm not joking and this isn't just my emotions talking. Listen . . when I was a kid I wondered how come Hitler got away with what he did. It's the same answer now. Apathy. Yes, I would fight with you. But since I'm an old fart, I'll pray for you and support you with my voice and keyboard!

There was a report this morning that I haven't been able to track down
that a Russsian boat shipment of Mig fighters bound for Serbia was
intercepted in violation of the arms embargo against Serbia. Why is the
US hosting Primakov with this kind of baloney going on?

To whom this may concern:

Is it possible to sponsor a family in crisis in Kosovo? My family and church
are very hopeful that I may find a way to sponsor a family to come here to
America. I would love to save all of the people. Only one family at a time,
I suppose. Can you please refer me to someone that can help.

Thank you!

I am a typical American, from Salem, Oregon, USA......Just wanted to let you know, as US citizens, we support our governments actions in stopping th senseless killings of ethnic Albanians. I sit here and watch our missiles live on television, as they are headed to Serbian targets, very pleased that we have the moral decency and the military ability to put a stop to the carnage. I do not care what religion, or political ambitions Albanians have....I do not really even know....the point is that Albanians are people too, and all people deserve to live free and have human rights wherever they live. By the time this is over, millions of dollars of tax money which I contribute to will be spent on the needed weapons....and I believe this is a very good use for it. So, from the other side of the world, we are watching, and thinking about the Albanian people.....and we support an end to crazy people in power, as in Yugoslavia.

Dear Sir or Madam:

I am the editor of the online edition of the Pottsville Republican, a
daily newspaper in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, USA.

I am hoping you can help me. I am trying to find e-mail addresses for
english speaking people who are currently in Kosovo or Yugoslavia that
might be able to provide me with some insight into the current situation
there.

My hope is to be able to put together a story, or series of stories,
that will put a human face on what is going on, rather than just relying
on the information available through government sources and news
services.

Any assistance you can give me in extablishing contact with people there
would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Chris Courogen

Your new index.html is too complicated. I think the old one was better. I have a link to your website on my hompage. I urge you to put a large prominent link to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia's online feedback page on your homepage. http://www.gov.yu/institutions/government/online.html The world, who comes to your site, needs to send President Milosevic e-mail messages of outrage for his war crimes. I wish I had his personal email address. God bless and be safe.

Thank you for your web page. the entire situation is so devastating. I

I viewed the photos and I'm sickened by what I seen. In this country that type of crime is usually committed by someone that is mentally deranged or sick. I can't quite understand how an entire group of people, army, police force, or whatever can collectively commit such evil deeds. I'm a religious person believing all people are created equal. It doesn't matter what religion one is, what they're beliefs are, what color of skin they have. My prayers are with all that are in harms way. I pray to God that this brutal massacre will end and that all will live peacefully.

I have been keeping track of events through your website which is
outstanding. I am a reporter at a daily newspaper in Central Texas and I am
working on a story about your web site. It woul dbe very helpful to me to
be able to put at least one name in connection with the site and why and
how and who you are specifically. We call that human interest, in light of
unfolding events you may not think that type information significant but it
makes it easier for people to understand if they have a person they might
be able to relate to. Good luck, keep up the good work and if you have time
please respond, elke

To: Someone that want to live a peaceful life.

Friend I've seen the pictures of what is happen in Kosovo and an truly socked
to see that kind of mass murder still going on anywhere in the world. I
support my county the United States of America in its efforts to put a halt to
this kind of inhumanity.

I only wish there was something I could personally do to help relive the pain
and suffering of all those innocent people. If you think writing my congressman in support will help
pleases let me know.

Till then my prays are with you and may the God of all humanity act swiftly to
end this kind of sickness among mankind.

I am a teacher sitting in my classroom with my students, wondering what
is really happening in your country. We watch CNN and the other news
programs and we get our government's story of the events there. If in
fact what they tell us is true, in my opinion we should come to the aid
of the Kosovars. I do not know if what we are doing is the right thing,
but "something" seems better than nothing.
I just read a passage from a 1987 speech by the Serbian president, and
it seemed clear as to what the goal was-- to run the Albanians out of
Kosovo, and into Albania. It also seems apparent this goal was to be met
by any means. Can you forward any information that might help me and my
students understand what is happening in your country at the present. May
God be with you all !

Dear Sir or Madam:

I have noticed that you been producing a number of news stories that have
been covering the 'Kosovo Crisis'.

I would like to take this opportunity to direct you to the Bosnian Institute
and International Crisis Group websites.

I feel that they both hold a comprehensive source of information on the
dispute, the URL's are: http://www.bosnia.org.uk. and
http://www.crisisweb.org/projects/sbalkans/reports.htm

I think that you too will agree that it is relevant to the news story, and
therefore could you possibly create links to both sites?

I hope that you carefully consider my request.

Yours faithfully,

First I would like to say that Clinton is not my favorite president but I have been waiting for NATO to take action ever since they first discussed the idea. I have been to Albania. Those people embraced me as an American and let me into their lives. I watched documentaries about Enver Hoxha executing small children. I listened to stories of limited rations, and spies and communist surpression. I heard of refugees who escaped for a better life, while their brothers and aged fathers were beaten and interogated to find out the where abouts of their sons and brothers. I saw the condition of their lives under a democracy, I needed to make a note to myself, and the father tore off a scrap of paper and gave me a stubby pencil just as long as the metal band around the eraser. Disgusted but gratefully I ate cartlidge filled sausage, which were a special treat to the others. These people look like carved figurines skinny and lanky with skin stretched over bone. They are grateful for a shower and clean clothes. Their shools are dreary with broken windows and lumpy cracked chalkboards. Students eagerly take notes with nubs for pencils. Factories run out of materials and workers are often out of work for extended periods of time. These are a people who have been surpressed under communism and held as victims of poverty during their democracy. I taught English to children in the community and I am saddened to see that these beautiful Albanian children are being victimized under Melosavich. I see the human side. I see people beeing slain because of who they are. If we do not act we make the statement that we don't care.

This is clearly a decision of a communist government to keep such a tight control of the press. Obviously they want to sway our moral. They want to outrage us by showing targets that are not militarily related. If Milosevic was not raised in a Communist country he may have the insight of our footage during Vietnam. This film was honest and up close. It disgusted us. It created a huge protest, our vetrans were spit on. Film access needs to be free to give the world a clear view of what is really going on. How can we trust this biased footage. If it is true that we are bombing non military targets then they should allow us to film there. If we are targeting civilian buildings as they say then more Americans will be outraged. We need an honest view of the country. Just like we had during Vietnam. I would like to see that point addressed in your next interview, with your next Yugoslavian official. How can they feel threatened by our journalists when it was journalism during Vietnam that brought the war closer and outraged us. It was that video that devided our country and weakened our nation's support of the cause. Also, I am tired of Yugoslavia arguing that we are comiting a violation by bombing them inspite of Russia and China's oppinions. They had their chance to negotiate months ago. I have been frustrated watching this genocide go on and our failure to act for so long. I don't like Clinton but he gave them a chance. Infact the Serbians have not learned their lesson because they are ignorantly atacking the Ethnic Albanians in Kosova as of yet. I'd like to hear this argument brought up to the Yugoslavian officials you interview. Why should we stop bombing them when they have not stopped their attacks against the civilians.

we live in california .I know that the horror you are subjected to we will never be able to imagine. But when I see the horrible photos of these poor inocent children It makes me want to hug my young son and cry.I know that millions of americans feel as I do.We prey that our bombs find only those serb cowards! After WWII the world said that they would never allow another Hitler to exist.HITLER did return and the world stood by and watched these atrocities take place , bosnia should have been a lesson for us .I say if this campaine does not stop them ,then give them a taste of thier own medicine and go after population of Belgrade.I clinch my fists in rage as I feel that not enough is done. If america wants to be super power then we should act like one,I would be in favor of sending troops. Not just a few ,If we can do it for Kuwait, then I say do it for kosovo. I know that these few words will not protect from the evil that has fallen upon you . There are many here who feel your pain. may god protect you all.

I believe the bombings are inadequate. They are not protecting or supporting Albanians effectively. It is not that I am against NATO air strikes, it's that they are not working without additional, adequately large landforces directly protecting Albanians from Serbian forces. It is a problem that everything gets framed in "do you support the bombing or not" when the issue is do you support ADEQUATELY and ACTUALLY and EFFECTIVELY protecting the Albanian population. Thanks

Since most Albanians are followers of the religion of Islam, whereas the

Looking at the situation as it currently exists, I cannot help feeling sorry for all these unlucky people who are being crushed under Milosevic's boots; the man remains the devil who caused mistrust and war with Slovenians,Croats and Bosnians, and there seems not to come an end to his bloodthirstyness. As long as this man keeps grabbing instead of sharing, blood will be flowing throughout the region. That is the reason why I do not believe that the problems will be over as soon as the Rambouillet-agreements will be signed by him; it might drop the curtain over the Kosovo-tragedy, but it will not stop the bastard from stirring up further trouble. My final conclusion is that the Kosovo-problem and the Yugoslavia-problem are in fact a Milosevic-problem, and that therefore Nato bombardments should not only continue untill the agreements are signed, but should also go on untill Mister Milosevic resigns as President of Serbia. May the monster burn in hell forever and ever.

Communism doesn't want to die. The world knows the truth and we
know that the people are misled in Serbia. Russians don't want
communism, but they want to back up Serbia and keep them in it. Russia
has lost money on all this military equipment. I wish I had done more
to stop this sooner. Before President Clinton was elected, he came to
our town and I almost asked him about stopping the killing in Croatia.
He has put this off for as long as he could. I ASK GOD TO PROTECT YOU

Hello, My name is Mike Phillips and I live in California, USA. I have visited your website and viewed many of the photos and read some of the written material. AND I am passing that website with the graphic and true photos to as many people as I can, to convince them the NATO action is a just one. Many people feel as I do, That IF it were just armed military forces on both sides battling it out and killing each other, those in uniform, then we/NATO/USA would NOT be involved. But since the Yugoslav government/military does not seem to know how to wage war in a reasonable manner, and has reverted to barbaric genocide then WE must do our best to return some stability to the innocent civilians being murdered. We all hope for a short duration of this action and that all peaceful living peoples in the region can return to some manner of orderly safe lifestyle. Regretably many Americans do not understand what is going on. Life here is so darned easy most people just don't understand the horror of life in other countries. I will do my part to pass along the truth. My thoughts ar with you.

I am a college sophomore at NYU, and I am going to be traveling to Croatia on the week of July 11th. I wanted to know if there were any opportunities for me to become invilved in the Kosovo recue effort in the Balkans. I would love to help in any rescue teams in the months of July and August of this summer. I am passionate about the conflict, and would like to become part of your rescue effort, even for these few weeks. I myself am Croation and have family in Split, Croatia. I am traveling to Eastern Europe through a theater program sponsored by NYU, and after that finishes on July 11, I would like to spend the rest of the summer in community service abroad. If you could please send a detailed response ASAP it would be much appreciated. ~

I have followed the events in Kosovo for several months by reading the
information posted on your web page and also the Kosovo Information Center,
and many times have wanted to send a message of support. I am horrified at
the suffering and conditions with which the Albanian people in Kosovo have
had to endure, and I do not understand why it has taken so long for the
international community to respond.

I grew up in England, and Yugoslavia was a country that many of my friends
used to go for holidays -- it is difficult to absorb that so many
atrocities have happened there. I realize that words are empty and feel
that I can do little to help, and as I haven't experienced such systematic
and cruel repression it is hard to know what to say. However, with events
becoming increasingly more desperate in Kosovo I wanted to send a message.

I have written letters to politicians and signed your petition, but all
that seems meaningless and completely inadequate when compared to the
extent of the violence unleashed against Albanians in Kosovo. However,
there seems to be little else that I can actually do.

As I am not in a position of power or influence - an ordinary
stay-at-home-mother - all I can really say is that I have prayed for your
people consistently over the last few months and will continue to do so. I
hope and pray for peace in your land and an end to the terrible suffering
of those who have lost their homes and loved ones. After all that has
happened, surely Kosova will one day be free of the Serbs, and be your own
independent country.

I would also like to thank you for the informative news that you present on
your web page - which I have recommended to many people to give them more
perspective of what is going on. Be assured that there are people outside
of Kosovo who care.

Sincerely,

Americans need more news on whets happening to the Albanians from
inside            Albania. People are not given enough information on what the Serbs
are doing.    There would be more support if the news reporters could get their
stories through. This news site is the only way. I only found out about it

I am in the USA.I live in Atlanta, Georgia. Your web site is great. I pray for your people! I feel so terrible for you all. God is watching you, loving you. ( Whatever God you believe in, God is God.) I wish I could help. Americans are horrified, and yet we can't even begin to imagine your sufferings. we are insulated, protected and ignorant of what your world is like. Is there something I can do. Something I can send ( non perishables, clothes) Can my church do something? Just tell me. My name is Esther. Please, be safe and know that you will survive and prevail through this hellish nightmare. Love and prayer to you all

You need to be more vocal at the local level and use all media
photo's of these atrocities. The serbs are well trained by their
Russian freinds on reversing your defending yourselves into
looking like your the wrong doers.
Watch the reports on this tactic. The photo's I have seen have
only been on the internet. Remember their are
only a small percentage of Americans that are actually on the
internet looking at news reports. Reports are highly focused on
the notion that the K.L.A. is the instigator by killing local
Serb" Police". We need your help to justify these drastic measures
that must be taken at this time. We must save as many lives as
soon as possible. Get more independently agressive by using every
possible means local media, clergy of all religious
faith,radio,fund raisers,donations from businesses . Godspeed

we are pretty remote here in canada, but is there anything that we can do to
help? There must be many people afraid. perhaps we are not of the same
ethnicity or religion but intolerance is intolerance. An eye for an eye
makes the whole world blind. There is the potential for conflict in canada
amongst people of different ethnicities. the hatred must run very deep.
our prayers are with all those who are persecuted. Many canadians died
fighting the nazis and in stopping their regime. to stand by and watch this
happen is intolerable. to do nothing is complicit in their act.

yours in prayer

I was reading the terrible news from Alb net tonight. Please be aware
that many people in Canada are with you in spirit. We cannot allow these
massacres to go on. I pray that the bombing will eventually bring
Milosovich to the bargaining table, or better yet the international
tribunal in the Hague. There is no doubt in my mind that he is a war
criminal of the same caliber as the Nazis who were tried at Nurenburg.

We figured that Kosova.com had been blown up...any idea what happened to
the people running it? We so enjoyed the daily reports, I felt like I'd
gotton to know the writers a bit through their writing.

Also, there is a guy named _____ (name withheld for security reasons - alb-net.com), the curator of Prizren Archaeological Museum; we read an article about him in the London Times, and our son who wants to be an archaeologist and work in Kosovo someday, is concerned about him. Has the museum been destroyed?

There doesn't seem to be much news about what is happening in Prishtina
itself - have you any? Particularly about the Dardania neighborhood?
What's happening to Albanians there?

I know you're busy...

Sincerely, Linda K. Berkeley-Bulliqi

After viewing your site, i now have a better understanding of what is

assist you. I think that living in the freedom of America, people here take
for granted what freedom really means. I will direct people i come in contact
with to visit your site and maybe they too will have a better understanding of
what is going on there and hopefully generate more support for our military
efforts. God bless all of you and i hope the situation changes for the better,

No matter how hard your struggle now -- how painful, how
dehumanizing, Serbia is sowing the seeds of its own destruction.
There is a new day beyond the horizon. Fight on. Right now you
can't hear the people singing for you, nor can you hear their
distant drums. Decent people everywhere are slowly uniting in your
behalf. Each moment seems like forever and brings more death, but
this evil cannot endure. You occupy the High Moral Ground -- from

prevail.

UsSalaamu-Alaikum! I am an American Muslim, I believe that Kosovo must gain or must be an independent country for that I have written to lawmakers in Congress. I also believe that Serbs are as ruthless animals like "Hitler". Serb leadership must be prosecuted for Genocide of Kosovans and Bosnians. I like you to know that you are not alone, there are Muslims around the world who share your pain and are active to do everything in their capacity individually and collectively. I commend you for what you are doing for your rights.

I am writing to you as a concerned American. My name is Chuck. I have
been watching the unfolding of events in the Kosovo region in recent
months. I believe that NATO has done the right thing by exercising
force against the Milosevic Government.

It is difficult to get straight facts concerning the situation.
However, from the reports that we hear in the American media, it seems
that the Yugoslave Army and Police are stepping up their attacks against
civilians in Kosovo. Representitives from Yugoslavia (Serbia) claim
that this is untrue. They say that they are only fighting against
provocation... Yet, they will not allow foreign journalists into Kosovo.

I know these facts to be true. There was a peace deal and the Kosovars
signed it. It may not have offered all that they wanted, but it was a
chance to build a peace.
The Serbs however, refused the deal outright. This was as sure a sign
as any that they have no interest but to continue their campaign to deny
human rights to another group of people based solely on their ethnicity
or their religion.
As Americans, We pride ourselves on ACCEPTANCE AND TOLERANCE of
different peoples. That is WHO WE ARE. Look at our nation, we were
built on the backs of people from all over the world. Thusly, we are a
people of several languages, religions, and, cultures.....It is this
altogether that makes us unique as Americans..
This is why we are now acting against Milosevic.

I have been a soldier. I have seen wars around the world. I also have
a friend who was once an American Soldier but is now an OSCE observer.
He has emailed me and has told me of the horrible events that he has
witnessed. He is now in Macedonia with the other observers. I have
known this man for years. I know that what he says is true.

I am writing to tell you that I am not alone. There a many in the
United States who feel the same way.
No matter what the political situation is... there is no reason ...NO
REASON ..... for the Serbs to be doing what they are doing... Perhaps
this is Naive. Perhaps this is only my western/American perspective...
But, we have seen this go on long enough. We have watched this for
years in neighboring Bosnia & Hercegovina. I only hope that the force
that NATO has brought to bear upon Milosevic is enough and is not too
late.

I want to know what is going on... I want to help..
Please, I want to be an outlet for the information.... THE WORLD MUST
KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON....

Please... send me photos, or eyewitness accounts... anything..... even
audio files....

The internet is everywhere in America.... We can put the information
out to tell people what's going on...

Anything that we can do to help.

Our hearts go out to you..

I just visited your homepage. My own position on Kosovo is that
Kosovo (Kosova) should be independent. My reason is that Kosovo
is Albanian territory, that Kosovo is traditionally Illyrian/
Dardanian. Am I correct? What is the flaw in my logic?

I am officially, by the history of China, by the Imperial lineage
of China, Emperor...with no money and no political power. I
command a broadbased cultural and political heritage, where I hope
to one day be China's symbol of the country (Emperor or President,
either is ok).

My family are among the richest people in Hawaii, but due to
family disputes, I am left without money.

I run a fledgling international political consulting company that
acts as a political negotiator for countries in dispute. We have
no clients at this time, other than the Royal family.

Since my family roots are European (Middle East, Southern Europe),
I am interested in this conflict. I am pro-Bosnian and pro-Kosovar.

(1) What can I do to help? Can you advise?

(2) May I suggest that your homepage be more simple and that you
should more clearly tell your story addressing (without saying)
your plight directly to the American people, on your homepage, as
if they were reading it.

Americans DON'T WANT to be involved in your conflict!!! They DON'T
want to DIE or fight Russia!!! They hate Clinton!!!

They ask themselves, "Why should we be there? It's an internal conflict,
everyone says so!" Some say, secretly, "Let the Russians (Serbs) kill
them!" or "Let them (Yugoslavians, assuming Serbs and Kosovars are of
the same national group) kill themselves!!!"

Your words mean nothing to Americans. Your explanations are not heard
by them. What they ARE interested in is their own survival and well-being.

Americans are good people, in spite of that, and America has been known to
come to the aid of many countries. So, Americans think of themselves as
humanitarians who love democracy and human rights. This is drummed into
our ears by our government!

Any appeal on your website to America and to the world MUST be kept
simple, direct, and to the point. It must speak truthfully...from an
unbiased view point. It must cite DEFINITE wrongs and NOT hedge in or
haw. One can not say, "I think Serbs aRE
evil" for example. One must firmly declare, "Serbs ARE Evil!"

Americans want to see direct statements. They say, "What's this conflict
about?" and decide if they should help, depending if the situation is
urgent or in their national interest. They decide on an issue, also, too,
based on humanitarian needs. Since Americans are good people (they see
this view of them as "their" identity, any appeal like such as your
country has made will be listened to by them. Your appeal has not, as
of yet, sparked the American people overall.

I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT you re-think your appeal and remake it. Be
honest, truthful, and unbiased in your approach. Be direct...cite
atrocities, cite a chronology. Give numbers killed (total and by date)
and displaced. Tell personal stories!

Americans can understand things like:

100,000 Albanians were killed by the Serb army and police from March
1998 to January 1999, over 11 months, or an average of over 10,000 lives
per month. Americans will not act to save 10 or 20 lives.

The other issue is, Americans don't know or understand what this is all
about, even if it is in the news. You need to tell only one story, a
simple story, so it will stick in the American mind. Whenever any media
source in America gives a different version, you need to dispute that
stroy and tell your same (must be truthful, to the point and direct)
story, so Americans will be motivated to fight and prepared to sacrifice
of their resources!!!

PLEASE ADVISE!

--

Hang in there.Pay no attention the what you hear about American peoples resolve. Americans as a whole will not tolerate people being murdered and sent away from their homes.America has the best of the best of their military there and they will not leave you hanging. But persevere, and survive!Do whatever you have to , to survive. You cannot rebuild your peoples heritage if you don't. Please feel free to e-mail me here ib the states. I will do anything I can to help your cause. Good Luck,

Bill Adams

Hello,

I would like to assist the Kosova freedom movement in any way I possibly can.
Please refer me to any agencies/organizations that are willing to take
volunteers (whether the UCK or a large international relief organization).
While my qualifications are admittedly limited here they are...

I am a healthy, 22 year old American citizen of Turkish birth who has
un-accented, native speaker fluency in both English and Turkish. I am also
quite fluent in Spanish (having studied abroad in Guatemala and traveled in
Latin America).

While I will be completing my first year of medical scool in early May, I have
no clinical skills whatsoever to speak of. I could be of assistance to
physicians but only in an auxilary capacity.

I thank you for reading this message and wish the Kosovar people a hasty
liberation.

I was watching the vice.minister of Serbia talking on TV an saying that he was
a Christian and on and on he went. I am a Christian, and a true christian could
not do what the Serbs did in Bosnia and are doing in Kosovo. The Archbishop of
Kosovo said it best today as he left for another country and said that this country
(Serbia) deserves to be bombed into ashes.

We should have bombed Serbia during the Bosnian crisis, and what is happening
now would not have happened. Milosevich is a tol of the devil, and a great
imitator of Hitler. I hope they someday put him on trial as a world class butcher, and
shoot him, as that, is even too good for him. As for the Serbs, approving of what he
is doing they deserve his fate as wel.

If I were a Kosovar, I would infiltrate Serbia and blow major utilities so
that the Serbs would get a first hand taste of their own medicine.
My heart grieves for you and your children, and I pray that God will bring a
swift and just end to this madman rule of terror. Hitler went, so will Milosevich. God
bless you

I am a freelance American Photojournalist living in Memphis, TN, USA (home of Elvis Presley). I have a variety of publications willing to accept my material, but they are not willing to fund the expenses for the trip. I am 46 years old. I am spent 7 years as a full-time photojournalist and then went to work for Canon. USA and then Xerox. I never quit photojournalism entirely; I returned to photojournalism, journalism, and photography (all still photography) full-time a year and a half ago. I am good at what I do. I am fit, ready, combat-savvy (Vet Am), a reasonably good martial artist, excellent marksman with both rifle and pistol, a competent student of tactical knife combat, a great professional photography and a good writer. I have publication contacts. I own a bullet proof vest, a backpack, and can travel light with enough gear to do a super still-photography job. I have conventional and digital cameras, a laptop computer and a radio to upload photographs and articles from the field.

I am a Mormon (neither Christian nor Muslim, although I do believe in Jesus Christ--we are persecuted by mainstream Christians for our views--and my ancestries suffered genocide in the 1800's at the hands of "Christians".) But I am ethically sympathetic to you cause, as I understand it. I am vehemently against the Serb's atrocities, and would lose my life to help prevent them (I don't want to, but I am willing to). I am very moral, at peace with God, and not afraid of dying if required. I will kill to defend innocents. In my country, I have a permit to carry concealed weapons including handguns, and will use them in a heartbeat to defend my family and I, and other victims of crime. I am working on a plan to get there. I have considered Albania as the most logical and closest place to get. I don't know if that is best. If you can help get me there, I will go with the KLA.

Most of the publications refuse to cover my travel and expenses, because "there is so much available information on the "wires" services"' that they don't consider it necessary. But I don't think your story is being heard by very many people. Help me find a sponsor for travel and expenses: food, shelter, film, etc. I request no further compensation--I just don't have the money to spare at this moment to make the trip--and I will come and go with the KLA and help get your message out to Americans. I am ready and working to get papers from this end, I have a valid American passport. I plan to contact the Albanian Embassy here Monday to seek visas. Please advise.

Dear Friends, I am a Canadian with only a wee bit of knowledge of the history of your country. But the little knowledge I have has made me believe in the cause of the Kosovians. I believe that you do have the right to the land in Kosovo. I also believe that the Serbs are attempting to eliminate your people in Kosovo. There are many stories, just now really getting to the media, of terrible atrocities...these too I believe are true. You may have seen the TV reports of demonstrations in Canada against NATO and the actions that are being taken against the genocidal Milocavich. These people that are demonstrating are people who have LEFT the Balkans, and chosen Canada as their country. If they felt SO strongly, they would still be in Yugoslavia. Those who join them here in the protests are only a small minority. Believe me, the rest of us, the majority of Canadians, are very much with you, and all appalled by the atrocities that are now happening in Kosovo. Please know that you have my support in thought and prayer. I only wish I could do more for you and your people.

United States Congress, so that we may convince them to place ground
troops in the region. I will personally see to it, that as many people
as possible
will know of these crimes.

Maybe a bit emotive....but i have come to the conclusion that the serbs are the scum of Europe. We have forgiven the germans after fifty years, but i hope to god that we never forgive the serbs, they must remain the pariahs of the world for all eternity because they cannot learn an historical lesson.

I am an American college student. Even though I am not Albanian in
heritage, I am proud of your entire people for your determined resistance to
the Yugoslavian terror and genocide in Kosovo. If NATO were to send ground
troops to protect the people of Kosovo, I would proudly drive the first tank
across the border to help you.

God bless you and protect you in your struggle.

Hello,

I am an albanian american from New Jersey. I am despretely needing
information on the condition of Gjakova and the people in the city. I
have relatives visiting the area and we have not heard from them since
the bombing began (about four days ago). Please contact me if there is

Reading these reports sickens me. As an
American, I fully support the NATO offensive;
but I fear it has come too late. I only hope
that the Yugoslav war machine will, in the future
be unable to defend itself, and will feel the
righteous fury of her enemies.

Sincerely,

I write you from Tallahassee, Florida, in the United States of America. I
have been glued to CNN praying that our armed forces and the rest of NATO can
take down Milosevic's air defense system so that our A-10 Warthogs and our
attack helicopters can come in and start popping the turrets off of the
Serbian tanks.

I felt that we should have destroyed Milosevic and his pocket of hate long
ago.

Good luck to all of you!

I advocate the destruction of all major bridges over the Sava, Drava, Drina and
Duna rivers. The people of Serbia must also taste death and hardship as
they, like the Germans during World War 2 supported Hitler. Milosovic
can not stay in power without the concent of the people. I will
advocate to our government and to NATO HQ the immediate targeting of
electrical, water filtration, sanitation and governmental facilities
and support. The will of the people to resist must be firmly broken.
The whole military complex must be completed destroyed and members
of the military neutralized in a swift and paralysing sustained action

You can depend upon our government's support.

Request vital information from your sources as to movements of troop
concentrations, armored vehicule formations and
potential targets for NATO troops.

If you are unable to provide this info. please direct me to those who can.
Do you have the e-mail addresses of any KLA commanders?

We need detailed info for targeting purposes. If you have contacts within
Serbia we request info from them.

if the serbs believe that this is the center of their culture why isn't the
majority of the population in Kosovo serb. If i were of the mind that a
particular area of Canada were the cultural center then I would live in
newfoundland or quebec. the cultural center is where you are and how you
live and how you treat others so that your way of life can be respected as
well as those whom you live with. the children must be scared. we all said
prayers today in church. the dawn brings new hope. always!

Tungjatjeta to all of my Albanian friends. I am answering an
appeal from the KLA for writers, reporters and journalists to visit
and witness the inhuman treatment that the Albanians of Kosova
are being subjected to. It is time for the world to know the truth.
I am very sympathetic of your struggle and I do have a
knowledge of the Kosovars and the surrounding nations. In my
time at the University of Utah, I spent my time studying Slavic
history and especially about the Balkans. The nations of this
region have always been fascinating to me. Through my reading of
authors like Miranda Vickers and Noel Malcolm, among others, I
have gained a fundamental understanding of the KLA’s desire for
freedom. I am prepared to go to Kosova and stay with the KLA. I
would like to help tell the world of the horrible injustices that are
happening at this moment.
For too long the diplomats let terror reign over the mountains of
Bosnia and Hercegovina. I traveled to Croatia and Hercegovina in
1993 and witnessed the horror of war and I did what I could to get
food to the starving people of Mostar, as well as hanging out in
refugee camps along the Dalmatian coast.
I do not want to see this nightmare repeated. I want to help
voice to the people of America that the bombing alone is not
enough and that the Albanians are the true people of Kosova. We must also put
more pressure on Milosevic and the whole of the unenlightened leadership that
exists all over the Balkan peninsula.
My most recent project was traveling to Sarajevo to gather
information for an article about the rebuilding of the city's ski
areas. It went well and I have a couple of different articles in the
hands of a few different magazine editors. In addition to gathering
information and enjoying the skiing in the rebuilding city, my
brother and I went to Sarajevo and Bjelasnica to bring the sport of
snowboarding
to the former Olympic host. We brought over a few boards and
gave them to ex-soldiers and children.
The project went well and I attracted a great deal of media
attention on local and national scale. I can do more by going to
Kosova now. I will be able to get my message into the living
rooms across the USA and World with the help of some television
contacts that I have. With the help of e-mail and a laptop computer
I can also send written articles to American newspapers and
magazines from the sites of contention. I believe that my knowledge
of the region’s history and my sympathy of your movement will
enable me to present this to the American public in a very
favorable way.
Get in contact with me and I will get ready to go to Kosova. It
will take a few days, but with your help, I can be there a few
days later. We need to figure out how to get me into Kosova. I do not
think that the Serbs will let me into the country. I have a ticket to
Zurich and will look for a flight to Sofia or Tirana. I believe that
through Macedonia will be best, but you will know best. I will be
securing a satellite phone and a lap top computer. Those tools and a handy
cam will be good to get the attention of the public. I mentioned the
idea of doing a story on the KLA and many people are interested.
Contact me and I will try to secure my equipment and funds to
get from Zurich to your territory. I want to help your people and
let the people of my country and the world know of the cruelty and
inhumanity that exists now in Kosova and of the blood that has
been left on the hands of the aggressor.

I've been posting some of your atrocithy stories on the MSNBC forum...one at a time.
It's more effective that way. See posts after 12 midnight Eastern
Standard Time by Frank G. at MSNBC site. I also posted your story on
the destruction of four tanks.

It really seems to have ticked off a few Serb defenders. One of them
posted two supposed counterstories of Muslim atrocities. Unfortunately,
one victim was a security policeman and the other two were Serb
soldiers. I refered to the first as SS man or Gestapo and to the second
as Einzatzgruppen. What a poor comparison she attempted.

Good luck. Frank G.

As an outsider in the USA trying to understand the situation, I found
that your web page (home page) http://www.alb-net.com/index.htm
does not contain a map which shows where you are in reference to the
rest of the world.

I urge you to construct a map link there. Believe me, it will be more
powerful than sentences.

I have just read the accounts of your peoples plight and I feel that on
behalf of the many people who support air strikes and ground forces in
my Country, that the information you are getting will strengthen your
case for continued NATO intervention.
I live in a garrison town in England and therefore I know many soldiers.
They all agree that Milosovic needs to be removed and are more than
eager to help in this effort.Unfortunately for know it is in the hands
of politicians, however the more detail they recieve about the situation
for your people the more inclined they will become to send in troops.
Remain strong, resist the Serbs on every street. If the Afghan army could
defeat Russia I am sure you can resist .

My heart breaks when I think of what is happening on your side of the
world. I can offer prayers for the safety and freedom of the Albanian
people. I do not have the resources or power to do more at this time. I
am only a mother, housewife and an unemployed graphic designer living in
Kansas(USA). I read about what "hell" your people must be living and it
brings me to tears. I believe that when I see children and that look so
much like my own, wearing NIKE pants and other fashionable clothing it
makes it more real and close to home. Only the miles and the ocean
separate us and as human beings. I will pray with all my heart and
soul that our Lord will bring you peace and let you return home. I
would open my home to any of you if I could and let your little ones
rest here. I am sorry that I cannot offer more and I am sure that you
need more, but then Jesus did do miracles and perhaps with faith He will
hear your prayers. I can't seem to say enough or to say what I want.
But know that we do hear your pleas and that we care.

In Christ,

Kathryn Petersen
