THANKS TO ALL OF YOU
WHO HAVE SENT THE ALBANIAN PEOPLE MESSAGES OF SUPPORT. GOD BLESS YOU ALL! --
I am Greek,in America, and support you with all my heart. There need be no
explanation for why Milosevic is the monster that he is:History shows us
that every once in a while,a twisted human being ascends to a position
of power, which he then uses to realize all his insane fantasies, whatever
they may be:An ethnically pure nation, domination of other
countries,control through terror,etc.Hitler,Idi Ammin,Saddam
Hussein,Stalin, are just a few.
When these sick, twisted minds appear on the world stage, we should
recognise them fast, and take quick action to eliminate them.We should
realise that trying to reason with them is as good as trying to reason
with a mental patient in a psychotic rage:It is simply impossible.Yet,we
do not let these psychotic persons go on raging:We "take them down"(put
leather restraints on them),and give them medication to calm them down.
And when it comes to a criminally insane mind like Hitler,or
Milosevic, only force will stop their murderous career, like Hitler's.
We must never be stupid enough to think that everyone can be dealt with
in a respectful, civilized way.Mosters like Milosevic only take advantage
of this,to advance their cruel plans.Unfortunately, when we are faced
with defective personalities like him,we have to act in the only way
they can understand:FORCE.Because weakness invites abuse, just like in
the jungle. We do live in an ideal world, and it's time we admit it.
I hope that we arm the KLA to the hilt, and that NATO brings all of its
immence military strength to bear down on this monster who is holding on
to power in Serbia.I feel sympathy for the civilian Serbs, but:They can
stop supporting him,and end his terror immediately!

Hola Kosova:
Saludos, Toni.

my name is chrissy jones. i am a highschool student living in America. I
had an assignment to write an argumentative paper for an english class and
the subject i chose was Kosova. I was looking for information to support my
theisis when i came across the actual blueprint for the ethnic cleansing. I
have never felt so sick as i did while reading it. i could not finish the
entire outline because i was so disgusted. america does not know what is
going on in kosova. We pretend to be concerned and we say we want to help,
but we don't truly know what the serbian government is planning to do to
these people. the ethinic hatred runs so deep and the lengths to which the
sebian government is willing to go, is so stunning that i am still in
disbelief. the power that one man has over another has never been so evident
to me, and the fact that someone could use this power not only to destroy
the life of one man, but an entire race of men is one that i choose not to
think about. And the worst part is the diregard for life. Part of the
ethnic cleansing blue-print states that albanian political leaders shall be
infected with the AIDS virus when they travel aborad, not so that it will
kill them, but because they will be quarentined and out of the serbs' hair.
this is so disgusting because they don't even consider thef act that the
AIDS virus will kill, they only care to get rid of the leader at the moment.
I truly have never been so disgusted with the nature of man, and the truly
evil intentions which can be engrained in the minds of men, because of
tradition and greed. i want to make america truly aware of what is going
on, so there will no longer be arguments concerning america as the world's
police, because if we fail to get involved with this, we are just as guilty
as the serbs themselves.

Thank you for the opportunity to see how such atrocities can unite most
of the world.
Whilst I cannot help you in a physical sense I can support you this way
and pray for you.
My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to all the displaced Kosovo
people and their families. I pray for the safety of the children
particularly, but for all Albanian Kosovo people.
I pray that this is over soon with less blood shed and that you can go
HOME and pick up the pieces of your lives and start over again, knowing
that you have the support of so many world wide.

I myself i'm from kosova, I am Albanian and have been living in the united
states for 10 years. My name is Argjira and I am 14 years old. All of my
family is still in Kosova or was, I would like to thank all those people that
support the NATO intervention. there is no explanation that Ms. Millosheviq
can give to explain all those people he killed. My love goes out to all those
people that have lost a family member or friend. i know what it feels like,
and i know that you need all the love you can get. the way all this killing
will stop is if Kosova is free. Free from Millosheviq.
Thanks

Hello, I am a journalist working for a newspaper in NY, USA and I am trying to
find someone on the ground in Yugoslavia who would correspond via the e-mail to help me
with an ongoing report on your crisis. There is a veritable deluge of people who have sent
notices to me from the Serbian perspective and quite frankly there is but one who has had
anything of interest to offer.
My hope is to find someone willing to become a part of this and offer the Albanian point
of view. ALL correspondence will be kept in my guard and at no time will any references be
made that would potentially jeapordize anyone involved.
Thank you,

I am finally going to get a chance to contribute to your cause in a small way.
I have the address, the name of the bank, and account number in Connecticut, USA
to send it for the KLA.
Is it sufficient to mail the check payable 'VENDLINDJA THËRRET' and
write the
entire account number on the check, or do I have to request that the bank I send
it to deposit it to that account?
It is not going to be very much money, but I have NEVER contributed to
a
foreign military organization before and have never, ever considered giving to
ANY military organization before this. I think that the 800,000??? people still
caught inside Kosova now need more help than those already in camps or in homes
in neighboring countries because they are trapped in there with milosavic's
rabid killers.
I guess my reasoning is that if even one the 20 or so bullets I pay for
find
their way into one of the Serbian military in the act of attacking a civilian, I
have done more good and helped save more lives than all the good intentions in
the world, because at this point, nobody other than the KLA and what few British
commandoes that are there can actually save lives in Kosova itself.
In the future, when I can spare more, I will send it to either the KLA
or
someone who can provide food and shelter aid directly into Kosova itself, if
there are other such groups (other than the KLA I know of none).
*** --- ***
If even one of those bullets finds it's way into "Zoran" or
"Kole", then I can
consider it done that many lives were saved--their potential future victims.
These two are serial killers hiding behind a 'cause'. In the United States, they
would have suffered the same fate as Ted Bundy, Geoffrey Dahmer, those two kids
trying to imitate the Serbs in Littleton, CO, or the guys who killed that black
man in Jasper, Texas.
I will cheer.
After that, I will ask God to forgive me.
I hope sincerely He does...

I have been writing constantly to the UK government to send ground
troops to Kosovo which is needed now.
I hope this will happen soon.

Macedonia and those that disappeared on the way to Albania last week.

I had to write with a message of support to the
refugees of Kosova. We have seen nightly on the news of the awful things that have been
happening, and we sympathise with you all. We are gathering clothes, blankets and food
together for everyone, and hopes this helps you to know that you are not alone, everyone
is wishing the conflict to end peacefully and without further bloodshed. Best wishes, Chris and family.

To whom it may concern,
I would like to get information on how to enlist with Kosovo Liberation
Army. I am a muslim american citizen who has been outraged by what I have
seen on TV so far. I figured that the least I can do is to be there and
join all the effort to stop the massacars. Please direct me to the right
organization. I have been searching the web for the past few days and your
site seemed the only source of information.
Thank you in advance for all your help

I am starting to believe that NATO has been unsucessful in its attempts
to curb this ethnic cleansing because of cracks within its self from the
on start. Namely Greece, in its baulking about every request made of it.
Most recently the so called "'humanitarian aid" inside Kosova, how much
of this aid is going to support the serbian troops? What else are they
taking in? Kick them out of NATO, and let them fall to the serbs. Seems
all they do is whine and object, This is no place for"fence riders".
Their name is ony on there to make them appear to be something the world
knows them not to be.If they cannot contribute to Nato, who needs them?

I understand there is a possible diplomatic solution being undertaken.....
If there is ANY deals struck with "SLOBO" now, it will show the world a great
blunderous NATO and powerless US. This man has been branded a new world
"Hitler", and now NATO wishes to strike a deal..... Sure! After there is no
one left in KOSOVO! "SLOBO" wins!!!!! get use to the sound of it.

We are Girl Scout Troop 141 from Victoria, Kansas, USA. We are working
on our Silver Award for Girl Scouts and would like to help you. We are
willing to gather items that are needed to help people survive over in
Kosovo. Would you be able to send us some information on what is needed
over in Kosovo such as some information centers which we could notify in
the USA.
The scouts would like to sponsor a drive in our local county in which we
could collect nonperishable food items, clothing, etc., but are needing
help on how we could ship them, ideas on how to defray the cost, and who
we could get to ship the items for us. Any information you could help us

Hallo, Today I saw the
BBC serie about the collapse of Yugoslavia. Part 3 and 4 :
The war in Bosnia 1992 Seems to me that Serbs have a short memory. The murderers Karadcic and Vladic are still running free. Serbians have only one moral: theirs So I
sended this email to feed@aim.ac.yu here is a copy. Hi Serbs! You have a lot of nerve! Now you are crying out loud because you are bombed. Have forgotten what you did with Sarajewo? Bosnia?
Remember? Short memory? Remember
Karadcic? Remember Mladic? Remember the bombing of civilians in Sarajewo? Remember the concentration camps? How many death? Looks like you are only counting Serbian victims. There is a paralell Second world
war: Nazis bombed Londen Allies bombed Berlin Milosovic=Hitler Karadcic=Martin Borman Mladic=SS-Himmler Ethnic cleansing? = Auschwitz modern version. Strange how History repeats itself so quickly Have a nice war!
That was my letter to those hypocrits! Those guys are still running free in Serbia, so is
Arkan.. Murderers first class! The SS of the 90ties I hope Milosovic makes the mistake
trying to take military power in Montenegro. It will be his great mistake. Like Hitler
when he attacked Russia. BIG MISTAKE... A dictator is always a man with little intelectual
capacities. Sooner or later that is evident for everyone. They all make fatal mistakes. I
am waiting for Milosovic's mistake. And impatient for the offensive off all nations who
are waiting for the day of reckoning. (Croatians=Vukovar - Bosnians=Sarajewo/Srebernica)
Anyone else I forgot? Victory soon! chris C

To All The People In The Balkins,
It is very disturbing that someone like Milosevic has power. I
assure I have kept an open mind and tried to view both sides. NATO
and Milosevic's. I will say this. The U.S.A has it's problems as
any nation, but Milosevic is pure power driven by hatred.
I promise you this. Milosevic will not win. Milosevic has lied and
it can be proven. The U.S has not been allowed to see it's POW's.
Milosevic says NATO is bombing civillians. True. But only
civillians near military targets or possible accidents. Killing
innocent civillians serves no purpose. Think about it.
Milosevic can end this now. Withdraw his troops from Kosovo, stop
the killing of Albanians, let the refugees back. Until then
Milosevic will continue to feel the wrath of 19 Nations.
Mike Compotaro
PS We may never be good terms with Serbs after this, but we respect
know this is not their fault. I feel bad that they are being used
and I pray that they will see the light.
--
Next Sunday at our Roman Catholic parish we will be holding a peace
procession for the Kosovar people. We will be praying for the persecutions
and cruelties against the Kosovar people to be stopped. Milosevic and his
cronies should definitely stand trial as war criminals and be punished for
their horrific crimes. We are thinking of you and your suffering and we hope
the suffering can end soon. God bless you!

Why is this happening ? Do the Serb people hate their neighbours ? What is
the problem that they have with each other or is this all generated by thr Serb leadership
? Do they hate countries to the North ? Whose next on the hit list ? Do you think
that the 'world' will ever get hold of the Serb leadership and make them stand trial or is
it going to be yet another horsedeal ? Do you think
that NATO should go all the way into Belgrade to get Slobidan or what ever his name is and
his hench men ? Just a member of the public in England pissed
off with the idiotic self destruction of mankind. The only
language that is understood and has results ultimately is either a gun to the head or pay
them money.

There's been a rare sign of dissent, meanwhile, within Yugoslavia's leadership.
Yugoslav Deputy Premier Vuk Draskovic, appearing on local television Sunday, called on
state leaders to stop lying to the people of Serbia. He said the people should be told
that world opinion is against them an apparent reference to state propaganda boosting
anti-NATO feelings.
Draskovic, considered a moderate and once the main opposition leader, said Yugoslavia
should accept a U.N. force in Kosovo and allow the return of ethnic Albanian refugees.

The Serbs are loosing grip
with NATO. They won't last for very long. They thought that playing with the mighty power
of NATO is going to be easy. They are doomed for the future. They have shown no mercy on
the Albanian civilians so lets see how NATO and the others treat them. It's amazing that
KLA fighters didn't execute or rape any Serb civilians and au contraire the Serbs showed
their real nature; barbaric, primitive, balkanian and so on. God is on the side of the Albanians

Does anyone know if we can send goodwill cards to the refugees? I feel so
helpless. These people are living in misery and it's driving me insane that I
can't do more. I'm doing a "charity of the month" project. Each month I'm
sending a donation to a different aid agency. For April it was Doctors
Without Borders so that some people with illnesses can be treated and
(hopefully) cured, for May it will be for a U.K-based charity called War
Child (which has absolutely massive bakeries that produce tens of thousands
of loaves of bread a day, along with other helpful things). Next is the Red
Cross, and then I haven't picked my July charity. I have a giant list of all
of the aid agencies. I am an American of Irish descent (my parents are from
Belfast), but I say God bless the Albanian people, now and forever!

I am married to an Albanian and I feel you are doing a terrific job against
the most hateful individuals in the world! The KLA started small, with less
than satisfactory means and have grown and managed, still, to hold the serbs
at bay! You have the right to live free and what you are doing is ensuring
that you will be FREE!! We are collecting in Alaska and will send money,
clothing, medical supplies, food items as soon as we can find a flight out!
We have really come against some obstacles on getting our relief supplies out
and was wondering if anyone had any ideas? There was an Albanian lady on CNN
a couple of weeks ago, named Marusha (or something like that), regarding the
Kosova Relief Fund. Just wondering if anyone knows her name and if she can
contact me with ideas on sending humanitarian relief?
We support FREEDOM FOR KOSOVA and the KLA!!!

Dear Sirs, Dear Refugees, I just want to tell you, that my deep sorrows go to all people down in the
Balcan and also those who stay in fear around this area. There
will be no future with hate, besides the aggression that took place, the normal people,
also serbs, can overcome the problems, Im sure. More and more I recognize that also the
serbian and albanian people in Germany are infected by the hate. Try to stop it, I guess
there are only a few that put gasoline into the fire. My best
wishes for all! Rainer + friends (Germany)

will be travelling to the Hague and Albania or Macedonia later this year
to interview people there.
In fact, I worked on a film called Rape: A Crime of War (National Film
Board of Canada) about the systematic mass rapes committed by Serbs in
Bosnia. I also travelled to the Hague and Bosnia for this. Sadly,
nothing has changed and it is being repeated all over again.
Would you be able to tell me whether there is a locally based war crimes
investigation unit that is collecting facts to submit to the ICTY. For
example in Sarajevo there was the Bosnian War Crimes Investigation
Department. As this is a sensitive matter, we would be careful not to
jeaporadize the investigation in any way.
We would just want to discuss in general what is being done.
Due to the troubles, it may be problematic to organizations overseas.
For this reason, I am starting with organizations, such as yours, based
in North America.
Any leads would be most appreciated. Also, if you have information on
how to obtain archival film or photo material (NATO, amateur, etc) I
would be grateful.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Cristina Senjug

If there is any way that an average American can help, please let me know
what to do.
The sorrow of the Kosovars must be so great that I cannot even begin to
imagine. My heart and prayers are with each one of the refugees; and for
those left behind I pray for their wellbeing. God protect each one and
bring healing to their bodies and souls. I pray for those of other
countries who are taking the refugees in at a great expense to their own
economic stability. If we all pray together and pitch in and help in
whatever way is possible, then by the grace of God this conflict will be
resolved quickly.

Dear Friends, I and other Americans are trying to help the people of
Kosova in this difficult time. I and my generation in the U.S. are
fortunate never to have experienced what you have and are
experiencing, and some of us know that this war was forced upon you.
We are trying to empathize, and we will continue contributing,
e-mailing, demonstrating, writing, and mentioning your plight and
struggle at every opportunity. We hope for the best for you, your
families, your friends, and all the people of Kosova and the former
Yugoslavia. We pray that we will live to see an independent,
democratic, prosperous, and free Kosova. All Americans who know what
is happening are responsible, and since we are responsible, our duty is
to respond. E-mail me. James. Monmouth County, N.J.

We are interested in opening our home to Kosova
refugees who may be arriving in the US. We live in Florida and would be able to
accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children. My husband speaks several languages, including
Serbo-Croat. My heart aches every time I see these refugees suffering and here we have
such a pleasant, safe place to offer them. We have young children ourselves so there are
ample toys and educational tools they could use to replace the lack of classroom education
the children are presently missing. Please write to us, via e-mail, to let us know how we
can help - your prompt response is appreciated!

I am a Canadian middle school student, and I wish to express my support
and sympathy for the Kosovar Albanians. I still need to see what I can
do, but I am sure that there is still hope for the refugees. However, I
firmly believe that there are "good" Serbs and "bad" KLA soldiers. In
other words, while we are horrified at the Serb atrocities, we need to
keep an open mind.
Yours sincerely,

To whom it may concern:
I am writing this letter in the hope that it will reach someone in a
leadership position in the KLA. From the reports I've seen in the news
media, I've noticed a possible misuse of weapons. Images on various
news programs have shown many KLA members carrying Dragunov sniper
rifles. If used properly, these rifles can render Serb watchtowers
inaccessible. This in turn could help alleviate some of the problems of
moving troops, supplies, and equipment into Kosovo.
Remove the enemy's eyes and he cannot see.
As a former United States Marine and war veteran, I've personally seen
poorly trained Iraqi solders engage targets effectively at 800 meters
with the Dragunov rifle. Fortunately for our side, the M-40 sniper
rifle is effective to almost 1000 meters. Both of these weapons are
capable of engaging targets at greater than 1000 meters with some degree
of accuracy. My proposal to you is to position a sniper for each of
these watch towers. They should be able to get within 800 meters
undetected. From these positions, anyone inside, entering, or leaving a
tower could be eliminated quite effectively.
With the towers unusable, the Yugoslavian army will lose one of it's
tools for spotting artillery. With their artillery unable to give
accurate fire, the KLA will have a better chance of moving troops,
weapons, and supplies into Kosovo in a safer and more expedient manner.
Of course this will not solve any problems. Nothing is certain in war.
However, the KLA has nothing to lose in utilizing this method. It
requires only a minimal amount of personnel , weapons, and ammunition.
It has another benefit as well. It will demoralize the enemy. It will
cause him to think twice about climbing into a tower or moving into an
observation post.
Please take this information into consideration.
Thank you for your time and may God be with you.
Sincerely,
John

I am wondering how the Serbs feel now that they are taking a taste of their
own medicine. For years they have bullied their way around their region.
Injuring babies, raping women, and killing UNARMED men is a cowardly act
that MUST be punished. It is time that Yugoslavia and Serbia realize that
all their republics want independence, and there is NOTHING the government
soldiers or police can do to stop it. Serbs were stopped in Croatia, Bosnia,
and Slovenia.... and Serbia thought Kosovo was EASY prey. Well, we got a
surprise for SLOB.
The KLA will fight until Kosovo is free. The blood spilled by the fallen
HEROES will be the fuel that will drive the rebels to victory. Don't give
up, success is near.

I wanted to give you special notice that SenateVote.com has been relaunched
as part of CongressVote.com, a new non-partisan Web site from Policy.com and
IntellectualCapital.com focused on the conflict in Kosovo.
I know The Kosova Crisis Center will be interested in CongressVote.com
because it is the premier online community for citizens to voice their views
on Kosovo, both to their digital neighbors and to the men and women who
represent them in Congress.
I would like to invite The Kosova Crisis Center to become a Participating
Site in CongressVote.com. There is no cost to be a Participating Site, and
it is a great opportunity to bring more exposure to your site. We have
planned an aggressive promotional campaign over the coming weeks and expect
our traffic to ramp up quickly, drawing thousands of users to the site--who
in turn will have access to yours.
We ask that, as a Participating Site, you place a small CongressVote.com

I hope that you can return to your homes in safety and that something

Dear Albanian friends, May the mighty God help You in the quest for
freedom. May He unleash his heavenly power against the brutal barbars of Serbia and punish
Miloshevic for his inhumanities in Kosova. Someone said that after WW II this is the
clearest and possibly the only case of massive madness of the serbs. Germans had the same
"problem" during Hitlers years and they caused great suffering to their own
people. Serbs who basically are an barbarian nation (they have proved so) are trying to
prove that they are able to stand up against the whole world. Well this will teach them a
lesion. The only reason Serbs aren't defeated completely is because NATO is concerned
about civilian casualties and are choosing the targets slowly and precisely. I know the
Serbs I have lived among them for years and I know they are able to produce and fabricate
all sorts of des(information's). They have their own people convinced that they are
fighting a holy war. I sometimes scroll threw their satellite program and always I have to
take a painkiller because of the headaches I get after that. It's "incredible
stupid" Let them suffer when they want to.

Why do we insist on bombing the very infrastructure that will sustain
peace when it comes? The solution is simple. For 1/10th of 1 percent of
the 10 billion dollars that is estimated to subdue the Serbian people
(the great majority of which I have no quarrel with), we can stop this
nonsense and give grave pause to other would-be tyrants. Simply this:
$10,000,000 REWARD FOR THE HEAD OF MILOSIVICH ON A PIKE. Only one death
instead of thousands, or tens of thousands. If $10 million is not
enough then next week $50, million. To hell with the executive order
forbiding the destruction of a head of state. Chop off the head of the
snake. There is not much wrong with the body, that a generation of
education about loving other people won't cure.
My Christian upbringing makes me love you, Milosivich, but you need to
depart this earth.

UN is
behind the extermination of muslems in Yugoslavia. UN is a high level of organized crime
specialized in killing and torturing nations rather than individuals and groups. the rank
order above Milosovic is in the ranks of the UN not necessarily ending with Kofi Anan. All
analysts and officials working on Kosovo should be tried for crimes against Humanity and
facilitating the Holocost in Kosovo and Bosnia.

Some thoughts on Kosova to any U.S. representatives or members of the
press who may read this:
While there are still hundreds of thousands of souls left to save in
Kosova, while there are still young women whose innocence has not yet
been violated, and while there are still elderly for whom a forced
exodus to the border may prove fatal, the choice is clear: either arm
the KLA with anti-tank weapons or send in ground troops. To do neither
is immoral! It is unbearable to watch this any longer! One feels so
helpless for these people.
It seems ironic that those countries who are the most opposed or
ambivalent to the NATO action are themselves some of the most corrupt,
communistic, and repressive governments in the world: Russia, China,
Libya, and Iraq. Why should American foreign policy with regard to
Kosova be criticized for not condoning their low standards? May God
bless President Clinton, the brave members of our Congress and Senate
and the presidents and prime ministers of all of the other NATO
countries for what they are doing. Also the deepest respect and
gratitude to General Clark, the other NATO generals, Jamie Shea, and to
all of the wonderful men and women in the military who are engaged in
this noble action.
The brave men and women of the UCK who are willing to fight and die
in order to save the lives of their family members and to preserve the
dignity and honor of their people and their homeland are heroes.
Despite the Serb propaganda machine, the KLA are not terrorists and they
are not attacking innocent women and children as the Serbs have been
doing. On the other hand the Serbian "policeman" with ski masks
covering their shameful faces and their machine guns pointed at
defenseless human beings have been pillaging, massacring, raping, and
burning their way through Kosova, just as they did before in Bosnia.
The evidence of this is incontrovertible. Why have not the Serb forces
yet earned the title of "terrorists" from the Western media by now?
About media stereotyping -- The vilification of an entire group of
people along religious lines has made the media complicit in setting the
stage for this type of a tragedy to unfold. I wonder how the
consciences of some members of the media allow them to sleep at night
after seeing what has been done in the world in the name of "fighting
terrorism." Perhaps those members of the media (along with some members
of the Congress and Senate) who have applied this defamatory term
exclusively to Moslems have no consciences at all, only agendas.
Be brave Kosova! Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God
willing, you will have your freedom soon. Peace.

Out of curiosity I have read some of the pro-serbian letters, and what
strikes me is the language. Obviously this is something for little minded
people, who truly know they are at the losing end.
Again I have looked at some of the pictures, and it saddens me more and more
what is been done to a nation of people. The worse, to find out of young
male children as young as 8 year been executed. What kind of person can do
this to someone who is totally defenceless. More and more executions,
people losing their belongings, starvation, and Milosovic is still living.
Again, if someone can help, I would gladly bring a child or two into my
home, give them love, kindness, a warm home, things they so desperately need
in their little lives and just cannot get. That is the very least they
deserve

Dear alb-net,
You have received thousands of offers of help, mine included. Must the
help only go through aid agencies or Web links? People are offering
adoptions, homes, goods for the refugees. What is needed? Do you need
someone to co-ordinate? I am willing to put my hand up.
Is there some way the offers of help here can be co-ordinated? I am

can help the refugees. Can you give us some direction?
I think many of us wish to do more than just e-mail.

I cannot find the words to describe the feelings in my heart after
reading about all the atrocities and then seeing the photos on your web
site. How could one person hate another person so much to do this?
What have the little children done to deserve this? I just can't
comprehend it all. I sit in my warm, safe apartment and think of all
those people in tents or without any shelter at all. The little bit of
money I can send seems so futile, but if we all work together we can
make a difference. The lost children are the worst off...I wish I could
give them all the hugs and kisses that they need. But I can only look
from a distance and despair!
And then, the children in the USA who have everything they could
possibly want or need and are surrounded by people who care about them,
their families, teachers, friends...they go to school with weapons and
bombs and kill and destroy. Why? I just don't get it.
All I can say is go home and hug your kids and tell them that you love
them and try to listen (I know it's hard to get through to teenagers).
We've got to start somewhere proving that people do care about each
other and can live in peace.
Yours in sadness,
Birgit

Hello:

"The Serbs captured one of our undercover men, who was training the KLA as
spotters, tortured and killed him and used his cell phone and codes to call

Do you have any more details on this? Do you know any sources to call to
confirm? I'd be interested in writing a short piece on this if you can
direct me to a source.

To whom it may concern,
My name is Aleksandra Bytnerowicz and I would like to ask you a favor. My
sister, Kate, and a friend of mine, Peter, are currently working on a
website for Albanian refugees from Kosovo. So far, they have been working
on the design and the programming portions, and are looking for someone who
could help them translate the site into Albanian. I've been told that it
shouldn't require too much work. There will be over a hundred phrases to
translate, such as "log in," or "click here," so they're not even
complete
sentences. Right at this moment, this will be volunteer work until (and
if) funds come through. It can also count as community service, but
probably the most rewarding benefit will be helping Albanian families come
in contact with one another. Please e-mail me back if you are interested
in helping, or if you know anyone who would want to volunteer.
Thank you for taking the time to read this message. I will appreciate any
help you can give me.
Sincerely,
Aleksandra

I couldn't wait for a reply to my questions about sending money to the KLA
because it's clear that there isn't anyone else who can still save people still
trapped in Kosova itself and time is getting short. I sent it anyway, and hope
that I did it so that they won't have any problems getting it.
I am ashamed that NATO and the US are ignoring the urgency of the
situation,
but I am also very glad that I can do something that my government won't do. At
least in the USA, if people disagree with the government, they can speak with a

Attention: International Community.
Dear Sir
While in Kosovo continues to render Kosovar Albanians render homeless by Hundreds and
Thousands the international community has felt little about the plight of refugees which
are increasing day by day. We have started an international Campaign "ACTION
KOSOVO" to bring justice to millions of kosovars. It aims specifically at the benefit
of refugees their rehabitation , and indictment of Milosevic. For the time being feeling
the plight which the Kosovars are passing through we offer them shelter food and medicine.
We have procured some 500 acres of land in Rawalpindi Pakistan and would like to settle
and feed the refugees (Upto 5000), all through on our own resources.
We need the help of international Community, Refugee Agencies and Govts. to airlift the
refugees from the borders and drop them in Pakistan. We will continue to feed, and shelter
them until they are safe to return their homes. I hope International Community will hear
our request.

I sent the following message to my congressman:
"Thank you for voting in favor of the resolution to support President
Clinton's use of air forces and missile strikes against the Federal
Republic of Yugoslavia.
"I hope you will continue to support the President, our armed forces,
and our NATO allies in this worthwhile cause--even to the point of
authorizing a ground invasion, if necessary. Although I don't think the
President has handled this crisis in the best possible manner, now that
our forces are engaged, it is essential that we prevail in this
conflict. If a petty tyrant like Milosovic can defeat the world's only
superpower and the most powerful military alliance the world has ever
known, dictators throughout the world will be emboldened to engage in
terrorism, genocide, and agressive wars.
"While it would be terrible to lose even one American life in
Yugoslavia, it would be a far greater tragedy to turn our backs on
Milosovic's orgy of violence and racial hatred. After the Holocaust,
the world said, 'Never again!' It will be a sad legacy for the American
Century if that pledge becomes a hollow slogan."

Hello everyone,
I am a father of two young children who have a very happy world and though I
believe that they deserve all the happiness they have, I feel really guilty
and unhappy that there are so many in the world who don't have this.
Right now my focus is on all the people of Kosova, I have assisted in
fundraising for Kosova but am still ashamed of what supposed humans are
perpetrating against other humans.
I cannot begin to imagine what it must be like to suffer like this and can
only say that my thoughts are with you always and I and my family will do
what we can.
Please let it end soon.

I am an American high school student who is research the historical and human
aspects of the current crisis in Kosovo. I have several questions concerning
the matter and would very much appreciation if you could answer some or all of
them. I understand that you are very busy, though.
Why do the Kosovar Albanians claim Kosovo as their own?
How is the situation related to the fall of communism?
Why is there a Russian interest (or lack thereof) in the crisis?
Before the current conflict, what was the status of the Kosovar Albanians
economically and socially?
Thank you for your time.

Does Irbraham Rugova have the foggiest idea what Milosevic has been
doing in Kosova? Does he know he will be as dishonored forever if he
plays the puppet
now? Without him, a bad deal collapses. If he backs down, he redeems
himself as a potential statesman-leader for an independent Kosova by
showing that he really was a prisoner and not not collaborator.
NEVER FORGET:
1. How Rugova spent the war holding hands with Milosevic.
2. How Clinton and Albright opposed self-defense in Bosnia and Kosovo (
"You can't trust an armed muslim but armed Serbs are fine.")
3. How the KLA fought for you ON THE GROUND when you needed it.
4. How Dutch UN peacekeepers handed over thousands at Sbrenica to be
executed.
5. How Albright's embargo "invited" Serbia to start one war after
another.
6. How Serbia invaded Kosova and Albania in 1912 and immediately started
ethnic cleansing and colonization, how Kosova's non-Muslim population
dropped from 90 percent to 70 percent as a result by 1941 as ethnic
cleansing continued year after year against virtually unarmed Muslims
year after year right up to and
into World War II.
7. How Albright and the State Department, knowing that the Serbs ruled
and had virtually all the arms ever since 1912 deliberately lied to the
president, Congress
and the public by spreading stories about how "both sides did it." in
order to further their own Balkan agenda (as if you could do with
broosticks what Serbs
have done with heavy armor and artillery!).
HERE'S WHAT THE US STATE DEPARTMENT PLANS FOR YOU:
1. UN PROTECTION (Sbrenica, hee-hee).
2. NATO PROTECTION (15,000 feet up until taxpayers tire of it and leave
you to die, haw-haw).
3. NO RIGHT TO PROTECT YOURSELVES (unlike Serbs who still will have lots
of "heavy stuff" left when American taxpayers tire of peacekeeping
bills).
4. PHYSICAL EXTERMINATION OF KLA TROOPS BY THE RUSSIAS (the KLA won't
disarm after all that has happened, and having Nato do it would be too
embarassing. This is the real purpose of Russian peacekeepers).
4. SERB RULE (unbroken since 1912 invasion, now under a Vichy disguise).
5. THE POOR PARTS OF KOSOVA WILL BE YOURS TO ENJOY (For
example, the Serbs get both the best farm land and the mineral wealth of
Mitrovice where they fired you from your jobs in 1989 and replaced you
with Serbs).
DON'T BE FOOLS: If Rugova collaborates, REFUSE to return. Make them drag
you accross the borders. If forced, go on a hunger strike. Commit
self-immolation
on CNN if necessary. The time is over to endure the same ethnic
cleansing pattern
that has dominated Kosova since 1912!
Do you want to be beaten again and again by the Serbs, just like
before? Do you want to return to permanent poverty where everytime you
build wealth, the Serbs
will steak what they want and burn the rest, just like before? Do you
want to redevelop a middle class only to have it exterminated or
expelled, just like
before? Do you want illiteracy, where your children must accept an
education in Serb chauvinism or nothing at all, just like before? Don't
accept Vichy!
Independence would allow you the full right to self defense, for the
first time ever.It would require no Russian peacekeepers. It would give
you the hope that the for the first time in generations you could
accumulate wealth and education like other people without the Serbs
crushing it all.

To all Albanians resisting the Milosovic Slaughter.
There is no question that you are the victims of an appalling act of
ethnic cleansing by Milosovic, a brutal and merciless nationalist, whose
activities should cast him and his allies from international diplomacy
and should label him a criminal. Milosovic is a monster.
My question, as a westerner, who knows little of the horrors facing the
Kosovan Albanians, but who knows a lot about the history and present day
activities of Nato leaders, the USA and UK, is simply whether Nato's
intervention can to anything other than wreak more carnage than that
which we witnessed before the Nato bombing. Yes, I sit in comparative
safety, but there are 'safe' people here who argue both for and against
the bombing.
My view is that there isn't a single moment in post war politics in
which the so-called liberal democrats of Britain and the USA have
displayed humanitarian concern for any victim of oppression. Far from
it. Clinton/Blair are known for their active support for murderous
regimes abroad, and in the case of Clinton, for murderous practices
against ethnic minorities and social outcasts among the white population
of the USA. It's death chambers are ghoulish, they are utterly
horrific. Their methods of slaughter against their own people, using
the rhetoric of liberalism and a wholly falacious concern for the rights
of the victim simply insitutionalise and celebrate a barbaric method,
which, in tbe case of the 'Gas Chamber' has had no emulation, since the
ghastly experience of Auchwitz. There is no humanitarianiasm in a
country whose record of mass slaughter exceeds no regime in the post war
world and which sees no irony in employing the methods of the Nazis
against its own citizens in the unimaginable and disgusting 'gas
chamber'.
The issue for the victims of Milosovic is whether callinng on the
cavalry of Nato will do anything other than exacerbate the appalling
situation into which Milosovic has placed you. I dont' believe that it
can. Nato has no humanitarian strategy, it doesn't care about the
future of Albanian Kosovans and it is afraid of the very real
possibility of an anti-Milosovic, anti-nationalist serb movement
gathering the possibility of power.
You are victims of bombing by Milosovic and it is completely reasonable
that you seek liberation from any source you can. But consider this.
The fact, which history has shown in the past and will certainly show in
the future, is that Nato doesn't really care about Kosovan refugees.
Britain, from where I am writing, has a brutal and wholly racist policy
toward asylum seekers which presupposes that any human being trying to
enter this land is a parasite, is a human being who has nothing to offer
our society. Nato backs ethnic cleansing when it suits our rulers.
Nato has no compunction about using chemical weapons against defenseless
populations. Is there any doubt that the UK/USA would destroy
Serbia/Kosovo with Napalm/Agent Orange if that were 'necessary'? As at
citizen of the UK, I know that my government would then leave you to
rot, just as the Iraqi Kurds were left to distruction.
Those of us who reject Nato's strategy in Kosovo do so because we know
that Nato is racist, has no humanitarian concern for the Kosovan
Albanians and has happily brokered settlements in the Balkans which
institutionalised the position which the Butcher, Milosovic has now
grasped as an opportunity. Nato cannot stop the ethnic cleansing in the
Balkans. This is the first occasion when Nato has shown an interest in
this issue. Every day, we here from our rulers that we have to wait for
years, for favourble circumstances, for a god given intervention which
will never happen, in order to end starvation.
The argument that anyone who opposes the Nato bombing also supports
Milosovic is stupid, facile and dishonest. We, on the left hate
Milosovic but as people who understand our governments and, in my case,
as people who believe in the doctrine of self-emancipation of all
people, we argue that Nato's intervention has and will continue to make
an anti-nationalist resoultion of this problem impossible and will fuel
the butchery for which Milosovic is responsible.
I live in a culture where silver tongued politicians tell me that if we
want anything good, we have to wait for it, be patient and trust them
for many years. Here, they are telling us to believe that their brutal
strategies can make ethnic cleansing stop now. They are liars. In
England, the pro-bombers still talk about ethnic cleansing as if it were
a thing of the future. The fact is that Nato has given the butcher
Milosovic the cover he needed to remove Albanians from Kosovan soil.
Those of us who want the bombing to stop cannot offer an immediate
alternative, because tbere isn't one. The boming has empowered
Milosovic. Stopping the bombing could leave a homeland, one day, for
Kosovans to return to. The present strategy will leave nothing. Nato
is destoying the homelands of the people it claims to protect. Remember
that the British Government hates refugees. It is deperate to stop
anyone from entering the UK. At the same time as the Kosovo crisis is
proceeding, hypocrite Blair is making it harder and harder for refugees
to enter the UK. The British Government hate refugees and it doesn't
care a damn about what happens to people who come from Kosovo.
At the end of the day, the answer to ethnic cleansing in the Balkans
lies in principalled groups fighting for an anti-nationalist resistance
to Milosovic/Tudjman/Isakbegovic. The liberation force in Nato gave
authority to Milosovic and Tudjman at Dayton in 1995. Yes, the Kosovan
Albanians understand the effects of Serb attacks better than any e-mail
correspondent could in the UK. But I understand better than a Kosovan
Albanian what the 'support' of Nato meqns. It means the destruction of
your land. It means mines, it means uranium contamination. It means
the ruination of everything you relied upon for the infrastructure of
your lives before the bombing. As a British citizen, I know well enough
that my government will not rescue you from the disater which it is
visiting on your land.
There is no outside source of liberation from Milosovic, just as there
is no outside solution for the victims of British public policy,
throughout the UK, who have been told that 'gradualism' is the best that
they can hope for. Kosovans have the right to fight for
self-emancipation. The support for that fight will not come from Nato,
whose governments hate the whole idea of liberation, but from the
anti-nationalist opposition to Milosovic in Belgrade. However weak it
is now, however badly this opposition has been weakended by Nato and its
cynical support for the butcher Draskovic, it is the only possible
future which anti-nationalist Serbs and anti-nationalist Albanians have.
If Nato continues, the ethinic cleansing will be concluded and Serbia
Albania will be a land-mined, uranium contaminated wasteland.
Victims of Milosovic, in a spirit of solidarity, I respectfully request
that you abandon your faith in Nato's capacity for liberation, and
instead, adopt a doctrine of cross-national self liberation which, I
suggest, is the only road out of blood shed and nationalism.
The only end game to the hundred of years of Balkan nationalism is a
determined, multi-ethnic movement which seeks to wipe nationalism off
the face of the Earth. Forget Serbia, Croatia, and Bosnia, despise
Milosovic, Tudjman, Draskovic and Iskbegovik. Fight for a united,
socialist Balkan republic.
With deep respect and in solidarity

The current starvation campaign is an idea taken straight from Stalin
who used a similar approach to wipe our as many as ten million private
farmers in the early thirties.
As in the Ukraine then, food stores are being destroyed today and
Albanians are not permitted to buy food. Both exactly copy what Stalin
did. This way you can execute thousands (or millions) without firing a
shot. No bullet holes: get it! Hence no war crime evidence. You can
bet that Serb apologists on this forum (MSNBC international forum) will
say, as they always do, "Prove it." That includes Serbs who claim
to be anti-Milosevic.
Lacking arms (thanks to current NATO policy) the Muslims have no choice
but to starve. The passage below describes the extremes to which Stalin
went in his campaign to make sure Ukrainian farmers who resisted
collectiviation would die of starvation. In a later post, Ill
identify the source and more details of how Stalin did it. You will see
that Milosevics other mentor (along with Adolph Hitler) was Joseph
Stalin. Here is a first-person account from one of the most chilling
chapters:
***
We couldnt help feeling that we were pawns in some lethal game. Each
of our moves to escape death met with an official countermove; each of
our measures to avert it was opposed with official countermeasures. In
their opposition and retaliation against us, the
officials often resorted to actions that would have been ridiculous but
for their unbelievable sadism.
One of these which I remember vividly was the campaign for delivery of
dog and cat skins to the state. Spring was already being heralded by
nightengales singing in their flowering orchards. But this year it did
not bring the usual joy to our people, for starvation had
reached its culmination point. Since anything edible was being consumed
by the villagers, dogs and cats had become a very desirable commodity.
One such spring
day we heard gunshots reverberating some distance from us. The sounds
were coming from the east,n and as the shooting approached closer, it
was accompanied by the loud barking, whining and yelping of dogs. At
the same time we heard some men shouting and laughing. This sounded
very strange when all of the people in the village were downcast and
silent. Suddenly shots rang out in our own backyard, somewhere beyond
the barn, following by the sound of a dog yelping and whining. We
immediately recognized our dog, Latka I ran out,
and as I came to the place, I saw our dog Latka lying on the ground in a
pool of blood, dead. Three gunmen stood beside her, looking down at
her, talking and laughing. I broke out crying and tried to pet my dead
dog. But my lamentation made not impression on the
killers. One of them pushed me aside, took our Latka by her tail, and
dragged her to the main road where a horse-driven cart already loaded
with the bodies of dogs and other cats waited. Then all three of them
mounted the cart and drove away. After awhile we heard
the sounds of more shouting in the distance and of animals crying out in
their death throes.
Soon we had an explanation for this seemingly senseless slaughter of
pets. Our villagehad received an order to deliver a certain quota of
dog and cat
skins...they systematically shot each dog and cat that they saw.
The carcasses were dumped in the main yard of the collective farm.
But skinning them proved more difficult than killing them....The piles
of carcasses were guarded by two men appointed by Comrade Thousander
personally (the equivalent of a captain in the
Serb special police). It was rumored that he was concerned about the
possibility of starving villagers stealing them one by one. A week or
more passed, and the carcasses still had not been skinned. The piles
were decaying and emitting a foul smell. Finally, we heard that Comrade
Thousander personally ordered and supervised their distribution to those
who wanted them!! The carcasses were distributed in a matter of hours.
Hunger is the best relish indeed, as the proverb says....the fact that
the Thousanders came to our village armed with shotguns indicated that
the campaign of dogs and cat killings was planned and
prepared ahead of time (Readers: think again about Serb actions on the
first day of the bombing or look at Serb plans for Muslims drawn up in
1995 and available at www.albnet.com/cleansing.htm). Was the
extermination of dogs and cats perhaps a means of depriving the starving
farmers of one last possible source of food?
One day, at the beginning of 1932, an alarming piece of news spread,
They are killing the nightingales! In Ukraine, the nightingale is a
national symbol....We used to listen to the singing of nightingales
in our village like city folk listened to concerts. Nobody, not
evenmischievous boys, chasing other birds, would ever harm the
nightingales. A legend handed down between generations of villagers
asserted that the death of a nightingale would bring calamity to the
household or estate in which the nightingale had died, or (if such a
crime were conceivable) had been killed.
But hunger is merciless, and it made the starving people merciless to
any creature, including nightingales. Disregarding the legend, starving
wretches started hunting nightingales together with other birds. Their
nests were plundered of their eggs and their broods.
Like the dogs and the cats, the nightingales also became prey of the
Thousanders, even though there wasnt any official campaign for them.
In the twilight hours or at dawn, we now heard shotgun blasts instead of
the singing of the nightingales. In their hunt for the nightingales,
just as in their extermination of dogs and cats, the Thousanders were
thorough and systematic (does that sound familiar,
readers?)....They would stealthily and noiselessly approach a tree in
which a nightingale was singing and wait for the appropriate moment...
We watched the senseless nightingale hunt with feelings of helpless
outrage (as Muslims lacking decent arms thanks to the
Clinton-Albright-NATO policy must watch similar outrages). We could
find some justification if a villager, half-demented by hunger, resorted
to killing the beloved birds in his great dispair. But
there was no excuse for killing them in such a cruel, well-organized
manner, and with such lightheartedness, as if for sport or target
practice....
***
THREE ADDITIONAL COMMENTS FOR WHITE HOUSE:
1. This is the kind of thing Zbriniew Brzezinski understands but State
Department types don't. Their confidence in diplomatic cure-alls for
every situation is akin the Air Force's legendary confidence in air
power as the answer to all problems.
2. Brezezinski would understand the psychology behind Stalin's comment
("How many divisions have the Pope?")
in response to papal criticism. Madeline Albright, Sandy Berger and
others would be clueless, as their embargo policy demonstrates (i.e, The
key to peace is maintaining a balance of power heavily in favor of the
most aggressive power in a powerderkeg).
3. The best thing you could do to get more Republican support for your
policy is to bring in Brzezinski and listen to him. Please: Just weight
the advantages before rejecting the idea outright.
See www.alb-net.com/cleansing.htm to see a 1995 plan in which Serbia's
deputy prime minister outlines specific techniques for ethnic cleansing
long before anyone conceived on NATO bombing. One of his suggestions
involved infecting prominent Muslims with AIDS before sending them
westward as a means of discrediting Muslims. You will see that the
1995 document is publicly available at any decent university and is of
Serb origin.

My dear friends of Kosovo and Albania,
I have read the letters of response to your website, by the Serbians.
I was shocked and disgusted by what I read. Obviously their vulgar,
profane, disgusting words are a direct reflection of their vulgar,
profane, disgusting minds. Apparently, they lack anything intelligent
to say. At one time, I actually believed that there were some decent
ones among them, who would admit what is happening, express their
regret and condemn their leader for his barbaric actions. I am
extremely disappointed, for thus far, I have not heard any Serbian
doing this. The Serbs are doing a marvelous job of creating a terrible
image of themselves.
I want to tell all of you Kosovars and Albanians that you should not
feel hurt or even upset at their words. Rather, their words should
heighten your determination to fight for truth and righteousness, and
strengthen your resolve to win. I pray for every single one of you.
I pray that God may strengthen you in the midst of this hardship, and
that the light at the end of the tunnel is near. I pray that all your
people will be blessed with prosperity and strength in the near future,
and that one day you will overcome this overwhelming loss, with
overwhelming success.
Anyone of you who is suffering-know that your reward lies in the
hereafter, and that Milosevic and his regime will be answerable to the
ultimate Judge and Power. Good will ultimately prevail over evil.
God bless all of you!
