THANKS TO ALL OF YOU
WHO HAVE SENT THE ALBANIAN PEOPLE MESSAGES OF SUPPORT. GOD BLESS YOU ALL! --
I support your fight against the Serb army.
My advise to is:
1. Coordinate your actions with Nato (ask to
be given radios(walkie-talkies)).
2. Get more anti-tank and anti-air weapons:
appeal to anyone who can arm you, including Turkey and some wealthy Moslem countries.
3. Get more volunteers. KLA is reported as
having about 15,000-20,000 people. Sure, with so many refugees, you could easily triple
this number.
4. Launch massive hit-and-run night attacks
against Serb positions (until the time you will be able to confront them openly).
If you want to be fully independent, you must liberate Kosovo
yourselves.

Hello my Kosovar friends;
I just want to say that I am ashamed of the cowardice of the
clinton administration in
refusing to consider ground troops! The British seem to have
better leadership, but
I predict in a year and a half we Americans will have much
better leadership!
Take Care, Vincent Burnett

My name is Julieanna, and I am an American, and I happen to know of 2
young Turkish men, willing to marry a wife from Kosovo. One is 26, and
one is 28, and both are employed, and one is a computer instructor, and
the other is a journalist. Both live in Turkey in Instanbul.
I have asked them if they would accept a girl who had
been raped and they have indicated to me that she would not be rejected
for that reason.
If you know of anyone interested, please let me know
and I would be happy to help make the connections.
Sincerely,

To All Kosova People, The True Heroes:
I have watched and read in horror the greatest suffering and pain anyone
could ever endure. My heart goes out to every man, woman and child over
your daily challenge. Please know that YOU WILL PREVAIL, PLEASE KEEP
THE FAITH FOR YOU WILL RETURN TO YOUR HOMELAND AGAIN! Milosevic will
pay for these war crimes. Is there an address or email in your country
which hosts people of Kosova so that I may send money directly? I will
continue to send monthly donations to the various relief organizations.
May God be with you everyday giving you the strength to prevail. Please
know that the world cries for you and prays for a rapid ending to your
nightmare.

To anyone willing to help!
Donations of all sorts are needed for the Hoti Family, they are the first
refugee family here in L.A. they are currently living in Pomona with their
21year old son who is a student at a local college.
He is supporting them to the best of his ability but it is extremely hard, on
his average salary. They are to recieve some aid but the wait is long and
time is shorter. The Hoti's are eager to live active
productive lives and not become dependent on state aid. This is a well
educated family with a extensive background in law, unfortu-
nately here in the U.S. their creditials are unapplicable. I am currently
helping them find classes in learning english which is the only real
setback(minor), and I am positive they will be speaking perfect english by
the end of summer.
I noticed while reading letters of support that many people were
asking how they could help directly so I am leaving this message for anyone
who is interested in helping in any way.
Please call or e-mail directly to the needed source...thank you!

Dear Sirs,
Do you have any photographs from inside of Kosova that shows the Serbian
VJ or MUP forces parking their tanks and military vehicles next to the
houses of Kosovo citizens. I am very interested in advertising pictures
like these to the consumers of my product.
Thanks,
Mr. Jim Traver

Hi,
I suggest all documents in your site carry a date, in particular
those listed in
http://www.alb-net.com/case.html
Some documents talk about massacres but seem to be from the last year.
They are important source of information (to show for instance that the
massacres begun far before NATO strikes), but someone can be
misguided when reading it and believing they are new.
Inparticular I would like to know: from when is the estimate of 2500
victims of massacres?
http://www.alb-net.com/warcrimes-img/warcrimes.htm
It is not from today, is it?
I am looking for information against Milosevic to put in a Brazilian site.
In Brazil there is a big opposition to everything the US does. Most people
know nothing about Milosevic and about Kosova.
Congratulations for the very nice site with lots of information.

the serbs the serb citizens need to know the truth, drop leaflets
and beam tv and radio to the serb people let them know that its the world vs
molesivic, only the serb citizens can end this war if not serbia will be totoly
wiped out, if i was a serb and my goverment was telling me it was right and the world was
wrong, i would think something was amiss!!! the serb people need to know the all the
facts not properganda.
the serbs need to oust slobodan and give him to

Hello. I am a student at Niagara Catholic Jr./Sr. High School in Niagara

Our Church is putting together aid packages for refugees for an Organization
called Church World Services. The packages are called "Gift of the Heart
Kits"
You can view these gifts at:
http://www.churchworldservice.org/heart.html
We would like to include a small card in each, in the refugee's native
language. Could you please provide a translation for us, or perhaps put me in
contact with someone who can. If there is more than one language involved, we
would appreciate a translation fro each, of possible.
We would like the cards to read as follows:
"This gift is provided with much love from the men, women and children of Faith
Presbyterian Church and Saint Mark's Lutheran Church in Hayden, Idaho, USA.
You are very much on our minds and in our prayers. We will continue to pray
for your good health and a swift and safe return to your homeland. Peace and
Blessings upon you."
We would really appreciate any help you can be in this matter. May God Bless
you for your efforts in behalf of the refugees and the very effective website
you maintain. Our church has a website, with an extensive page on Kosovo and
the ways people can help the refugees. It is http://www.faithpres.com
The
next time I update it, I will be adding a link to your web site.
Peace and God Bless,

Draga i postovana braco Kosovari,

(I am writing to you in Bosnian, if you can not read, please let me know,
I'll writte in English. I don't know your language, unfortunatelly)
otac (koga ja nazalost nisam ni upamtio, zahvaljujuci nasem zajednickom
Ja
sam ubijedjen da je Vasa sloboda na dohvatu ruke, na Vama je da je dokucite
i uzivate u njoj.
Ja sam Bosnjak, zivim u Ujedinjenim Arapskim Emiratima.
poslati svoj PGP Public Key. To ne bih pisao otvorenom postom.

idiots are doing to the Albanian people in kosovo is true,
Are they chopping of the hands of children so when they grow up they
wont fight the serbs again
Are they raping Muslim women even when they are pregnant
Are they butchering children, women old people, men
Are they carrying out amputations on innocent people like children
I lookforward to hearing from you.

Good afternoon,
I would like some information about the refugees that are coming to the U.S.
What language do they speak?
What foods do they like?
How is their meal schedule? Hot breakfast, hot lunch, cold dinner, etc.
What type of daily lifestyle do they have?
What is there religious preference?
What are their hobbies and sports?
Anything else you could tell me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,

Hi,
The picture of the little boy says it all for everyone. The pain and
confusion in his eyes are tremendous. How can the Serbian people not
see what Milosovic is doing? I wish I had money enough to do
something. However, the only thing I can do is crochet. Do you think
if I crocheted afghans, or hats or something that it would help them for
this coming winter? Do you think they will be allowed back into Kososvo
by that time? What of their homes? If their homes have been destroyed,
where will they go in Kosovo? And why are the Russians helping the
Serbs? I don't understand this. Trish.

I have watched with growing disgust how the
ever present Serbian sense of their own superiority over other ethnic groups in the Balkan
region has been manipulated by Nationalists within Serbia to promote this current wave of
ethnic cleansing in Kosova.
It is my most fervant wish that NATO grasp
this particular nettle and commits ground troops. I want to see the Serbs face the true
reality of their actions, they cannot once again be allowed to pretend that they are the
victims.
It appears to me that the Serbs always see
themselves as the historical victims, occupying some special place and fulfilling some
special role, justified by that perception of history, a national perspective that allows
them to justify almost any action.
The Serbs must learn that they allowed what
has happened to happen - they cannot ignore events, or pretend that NATO is just picking
on them for no reason - the Serb illusions must end as must their role in controlling
Kosova.
The Serbs have lost all moral right to rule
anybody but themselves.

Dear Sir/Madam
I wrote to the Webmaster of the USIA in connection with the video materials
that were the subject of the US State Department briefing on May 19, 1999.
Some of this video material can be seen from the CNN site. This, however,
carries the CNN logo. The USIA Webmaster informed me that the video is the
copyright of the American Albanian Council.
I would like to show some of the photographs as part of the Web Genocide
Documentation Centre files on Kosovo
(http://www.ess.uwe.ac.uk/Kosovo/Kosovo-index.htm)
It also occurred to me
that perhaps you do not have the facilities to stream the video yourselves
at present. We have acquired a server for this purpose, which we are
experimenting with in the context of the development of distance learning
courses, including one that I am responsible for on genocide. I was
wondering what the situation was with respect to the video material. It
would probably be possible for me to stream the video from here if you were
interested in this.

Gentlemen/ladies:
Several months ago I started a modest webpage on international law that
posed a particular question that used Kosovo as an example (this was
pre-Rambouillet).
What has followed is an ongoing discussion by e-mail about the
particulars here. Although there are correspondents from all over, we
lack, remarkably, a single Kosovar! All we hear from, essentially, are
Serbs and Greeks.
Can you find me a thoughtful and intelligent person who has (a) been a
refugee and (b) who has access to computer and modem who would be
willing to engage in our conversation?
Thanks.

Hello
I have written a few times and called the number(s) given to me a couple
of weeks ago in my attempt to gain some information. I would like very
much to help the cause and join the KLA. I have spoken to Mark, on a
couple of occasions, who is a very nice gentleman. Mark works in the
______ here in the U.S. (in New York). I mentioned to Mark
that I wanted to join your forces. He mentioned to me that a group is
leaving; but, he is not sure when they will leave. I have purchased my
gear and am just waiting on my Passport to be sent to me. I am a
healthy male, teach high school (which will be ending soon for the
summer), have worked for a law enforcement agency here in the states,
and would like to help as much and as long as you need me.
Please let me know where and when the next group of volunteers will be
leaving. If it is necessary for me to fly to another state other than
Florida, that is no problem. I would like very much to be there,
supporting the KLA in their quest to regain their homes.
Please write back soon.

Hi, I have 2 nephews (8 & 7 years old) and 1 niece (5 years old),
and I love them. When I see them smile and play I always remember and think
in all the Kosovo's refugees children. Then, my happiness turns in sadness.
You, people from Kosovo, are in my mind and in my heart every second of my
life. I pray every night for the end of this nightmare.
I would like to do something to help you, I would like to go to the Albania

can I do that. So please let me know any information about this point. GOD

How do I send some money to the KLA? I cannot send a large sum, but would
like to send what I can. If my government won`t help arm them, then maybe
private citizens will. It seems they are hanging on against incredible odds,
and the field should be more even.

Hello
I've been following the Kosovo crisis very carefully since the bombing began by NATO.
I've looked
for a number of useful sites for uptodate info and am glad to have found yours. To
date I have only
really found sites by either governmental organisations or the media. I'm looking
for more reliable
sources of information!
My interest in the war results purely from a deep sense of right and wrong. I am not
involved in
any political organisation or media. I believe in what NATO is doing and that Kosovo
should become
an independent nation (now that there seems to be no other option).
Could you please tell me where you are based and the sources of your information on the
web-site.

I'm a volunteer with an organization working with
the Kosovar families in Borden Ontario Canada. The people seem to be in good condition now
however now that they are finally comfortable they are able to feel the pain that they
were too busy to feel before. It is only now that they can rest that the reality of the
situation sets in. There are more tears. If death does not take these people the physical
pains and emotional agonies slowly tear them apart...this is Milosovic's evil work and he
must be stopped. We have to do everything in our power to get these people back to the
land they left unwillingly and want so desperately to see once more. We must help them in
any way to regain what was taken from them. They need to have their lives restored and the
fuel to spark the flame of pride which smolders beneath sorrow and hopelessness. They are
our neighbours...it's the least we can do.

Dear Sir:
Now that the War Crimes Tribunal have indicted Milosevic and his 4
deputies, we can facilitate their arrests by offering reward for their
capture, dead or alive, to be turned over to the Tribunal.
Perhaps you can start a fund raising campaign to put up the reward. I
am sure that a lot of Americans would prefer to donate money and see
these evil men be arrested, than send their sons to war in Kosovo. And
I am sure that you can easily raise at least Ten Million Dollars for
this purpose.
Even I will donate some money for this purpose.
We already donate some money for the Catholic Relief Services in
Kosovo. No matter what religion we have, we are all children of God and
it would only please God to see that we love and help each other and
fight evil men like Milosevic and his henchmen.
Sincerely,
Chito Papa

Dear Sir/Madame,
I'm writing to ask if it is alright to take distribute some of the
information I found on your site. Documents like those found in the
directory "Case For Independence". I have friends with computers but no
access to the internet to go to your website and I wanted to send them the
documents in the HTML on disk. I have been interested in the recent events
in the Balkans since I first heard of Croatia and Bosnia an now Kosova.
This also a letter of support for a Free Kosova. I support the action of
NATO and the US, which to many is ironic since I'm a decendent of those who
survived the US genocide of my Native American people. I wish that 100
years ago there was a group like NATO to try and help out my people against
the US ,It is now the United States' turn to make sure what happen to the
Native American tribes doesn't happen in Kosova. Me and my friends will pray
for all those who have been killed and driven out of their homes, may this
end peacefully.
Respectfully,
Phillip J. Lopez-Lente

I am the grown child of Holocaust surviving Jews. I have seen the
suffering of my parents and grandparents my whole life. I carry the scars, but they
are nothing compared to those horrors that are occurring to your people. We are all
of one God and one world. It breaks my heart that humanity has so little tolerance
for the differences in cultures and people. I offer my heart felt support that those
who are destroying your people will lie down like lambs soon.

My children and I pray for all of you every day. We are horrified at all
that is happening and our hearts break when we watch the news. Our
church, LDS, sends money and supplies and I hope it helps. I scanned
through the photos of the dead and am sickened by things I have never
seen before. I will never be able to watch horror movies again. I know
nothing I can say will make things better. I wish I could change things
for all of you. Now, all I can do is give material things and PRAY!
Raising 6 children on my own, I have felt sorry for myself, but I know I
am very blessed.
YOU are all special people and one day will understand why things like
this happen. May God bless you all. We love you.

I am interested in contributing money to help the refugees. As an
American citizen, I am looking for some way to do this that complies
with American law. This means that I cannot contribute to the KLA
liberation forces.
I would like to help any agency that is providing assistance to the
victims of the Serbs genocide.
Any suggestions?

I do not understand something. If you want your country so bad, why
the flee? I can understand sending the children, old, sick and injured out, but what are
all the able people doing? They are leaving and not regrouping to fight back for what is
there's. Maybe being an American has made me want to fight for what is mine. You have too
many young men & women who are able to be trained and fight to get your country
back. You would probably be more proud that you (as a country) had won a battle not NATO.
I just wish that what is happening in your country could be stopped. Children remember the
hate, when you show them the killing and all the hatred it continues. Hopefully as a
nation everyone could learn to get along with the other no matter how different you are.
Difference is what makes life interesting. May you be granted freedom soon, for peace will
take longer. Peace is within your heart. God Bless and protect you. Ana Cruz.

To the Albanian refugees,
Your plight has touched many hearts in
America. Our Catholic community has begun praying and fasting for peace and for the
war to end. A small group of medical workers (doctors, nurses and paramedics)
will be leaving in July to assist you in your camps. I have signed up for the trip
in September. God bless you and may He keep you safe.

I'm an ethnic Albanian born in Romania, and living in Toronto, Canada. I got
you address from the BBC site.
I'm frustrated by NATO not sending ground troops to Kosova. I'd like to send
letters to President Clinton, who vacillates, and to other chiefs of state
who seem to be against it (the German Chancellor, the prime ministers of
Italy, Greece, and possibly others (you are better informed than me). I
think I may sway them in the right direction (I have some pertinent
qualifications for it, including a deep knowledge of European history).
I'd appreciate it if you could provide me and others with the e-mail
addresses of these people.

DEAR PEOPLE ,

Dear Kosovars,
Once this is all over, you must demand you independence from Serbia and
accept nothing less (except for maybe an interim period in which you can
get your democratic and civilian institutions organized). The
Rambuillet agreement for autonomy under the Serbs died along with all of
those innocent Kosovars now buried in the mass graves inside of Kosovo.
Although, Kosovo was the first province targeted by Milosovic, in the
intervening 10 years since then, Macedonia, Slovenia, Croatia, and
Bosnia have all received their independence from Milosovic's
Yugoslavia. Montenegrans seem almost unable to contain their enthusiasm
for independence, and I am sure they will get theirs soon, too. Why
then should Kosovo be forced to remain yoked to Serbia when no other
surrounding country or province was forced to be? Furthermore, the
price to be paid for independence (if there is such a price) has more
than been paid by the blood and the suffering of your people at the
hands of the Serbs. They have lost their moral right to govern you now.
They say that Kosovo is their "sacred" land, home to their "holy
sites." What nonsense. These people who support Milosovic have no
religion. They worship Satan, if anything. Actions speak louder than
propaganda, and they have defined themselves by their atrocities and
their feigned ignorance about what has been going on in Kosovo all this
time. I took note of a quote found in one of the articles posted on
your web site ("Interview with Archbishop of Belgrade," Avvenire, May
18, 1999) in which Archbishop Franc Perko, remarked, "The KLA hasn't
destroyed even one Orthodox church. In Bosnia the Serbs didn't leave
one mosque standing, and there were a thousand." (I wonder how many
mosques are still standing now in Kosovo?) That statement speaks quite
a lot about who has more respect for the other's religion. In fact, I
wouldn't hesitate to say that the Muslim Kosovars probably have much
more respect for Christianity than Milosovic does himself.
Lastly, we must ask ourselves, should victims of violent crimes be
policed by war criminals? Can families honestly expect real security
from those who have burned and looted their homes, extorted all of their
money, and stolen every shred of their dignity? Should women and
children be forced to be governed by rapists and child murders? Should
people suffering from post traumatic emotional distress be ruled by
those who have caused the trauma and the distress in the first place and
who still harbor pathological feelings towards them? Would the Jews
have been forced to go back and live under Hitler and the Nazis? How,
then, can the Muslim and Roman Catholic Kosovars be forced to live under
Milosovic and his regime ever again?
The world said never again. You must say, never again! It seems that
this is the only way to start the healing process and to have hope for a
return to a normal life without fear.
May God bless all of NATO's magnificent pilots and soldiers. They are
heroes forever!
And may God be with all of you. I pray for you and for our NATO and
U.S. troops daily.
Sincerely,
Mary Faith

Dear alb-net,
I have been following the events in Kosova. Thank you for
posting
the information that you get to the Net. I have relied on it and
Kosovapress for the latest news out of Kosova. My prayers are with the
Kosovar Albanians, and I hope my donations get there as well.
I am particularly impressed that you include information that is
not favorable to the KLA, whom is fighting a just war and deserves the
full support of NATO. It shows that your presentation is balanced. It
also shows that anybody buys the Serbian line is, at best, sadly
deluded.
I grew up in a town in Indiana that was about as Serbian as
Kosova
was before the expulsions. I heard legends about Chetnik guerillas
fighting off the evil Nazis. My sister was invited to a friend's Slava,
which commemorates the day that the family adopted Christianity a
millenium ago. They outdid us Catholics in piety and fasting. I never
learned about Kosova in 1389 or whenever. As a rule, they were at least
as good for the community as everybody else, probably better. This is
why I'm particularly angry at Milosevic and his henchmen: he seduced a
proud, ancient nation and set it on a career of murder, rape, pillage
and dishonor.
Milosevic conveniently forgot that it was a union of South Slavs,
Albanians and others who went into battle against the Turks. Indeed,
Serbia and her allies were winning! Then Vuk Brancovic and his army
left the battle (from SALONICA TERMINUS, Fred A. Reed, Talonbooks, as
quoted on the website http://www.frosina.org/kosova.htm.)
Then came a
65-year descent into serfdom for the Serbs, followed by 400 years under
the Ottoman Empire, then another series of wars, and finally Communism.
So, after over 500 years of assorted struggles, wars,
oppressions,
massacres and suffering (with Serbs alternating between victim and
victimizer), the Serbs regained Kosova. B y 1989, it was widely
recognized that Kosova was part of Serbia, though the Albanians had
"autonomy."
There are many parallels between Serbia 1389 and Serbia 1989-99.
The autonomy the Albanians enjoyed in 1989 was standard for states under
an empire such as the short-lived Serbian empire. In 1389, the South
Slavs and Albanians were united against the Turk, while in 1989 the
South Slavs and the Albanians were united under Yugoslavia. In 1389,
the Renaissance was stirring; in 1989 Communist oppression was
faltering and freedom was stirring. In 1389, the Turks cruelly isolated
the Serbs from the benefits of the Renaissance. In 1989, Milosevic
cruelly isolated the Serbs, keeping the winds of freedom out of
Yugoslavia...oppression in Kosova led to Croatian and Bosnian wars of
independence complete with Serbian atrocities, which led to Serbian
isolation from the rest of the world and atrocities against Serbs. In
1389, Vuk Brancovic and his army deserted the Christian cause. In 1989,
Milosevic dragged Christ's cross through the muck and the mire of his
voracious appetite for power. (Now, in 1999, Turkey has stated that it
would join a Nato ground campaign in Kosova). The events of 1389 led to
Serbia's loss of Kosova and half a millenium of disaster for the Serbs.
The Serbs are now in their tenth year of disaster, brought about by
Milosevic, the 20th Century's Vuk Brancovic.
The parallels do not end there. During World War II, the
Nazis may
have held the cities, but they were harassed in the countryside and from
the hills by Serbs (and others). Now, the Serbs hold the cities of
Kosova, but they are being harassed by the KLA.
We are currently in a just war against Serbia. The West
could not
stand by, especially after 54 years of chanting "Never again!", and
seeing carnage and misery from Milosevic's minions again and again for
eight years. The traditional requirements of a just war (we have a good
chance of winning, the loss of life caused by the bombing is dwarfed by
Serb atrocities on the ground, NATO is trying to avoid civilian
casualties and the KLA/UCK is apparently following the Geneva
conventions) are being met in full. This war must be fought, and fought
to a just end for the Kosovar Albanians.
One more parallel: Hitler killed himself and Mussolini with
his
wife were killed by their countrymen. Milosevic...may profit by their
example and head to the one place where he can be assured a natural
death: The Hague.

The indictiment and the eventual destruction of VJ
and paramilitary that have killed, raped and plundered across former Yugoslavia is a long
time coming. The people now in the ground throughout the region deserve to be
remembered-let every person who was involved in the innocent killing and deportation of
Kosovo persons be brough to justice either in court or in front of a KLA field court.

Ndeaah mom!! I am hosting a family from Kosovo.
They want to know news from back home and around the world. They are learning
English, but still need news in Albanian. They also speak Serbo-Croatian, but only
as a last option. It is difficult for them to live without knowing what is going on
in the world. Internet links to Albania would be MOST helpful. Printed
newspapers, even a couple of days old would be good as well.

Thank you for exposing the violence of a demented people bent on diluted
people who hate other humans to the point of committing murder.
The Albanian people are humans too. Many Italo-Americans, like myself,
are proud of heritage. We Italians also have an Illyrian heritage from
the pre-Roman Apulians, ancient Calabrians, Venetians, and Istrians, and
from one of the mixed Umbro-Sabellian tribes that lived in what is now
the modern Abruzzo.
I am a disabled veteran of the Korean War. War is terrible! But, it is
even worst for the helpless. These photographs expose the big lie from
the perpetrators. What wrong with them? How can they justify their
violence? Do they know that they have allowed their fears -- their
paranoia to react with sin. They claim to be Christians. Is this what
their Jesus instructed them to do?
Again, thank you for exposing the carnage of Kosova.

I have seen on the news and listened to reports about Serbian
atrocities. The details given will be logged in history for ever.Your people have suffered
much and the K.L.O. are very brave to fight against this Serbian Military Machine.
It is very upsetting to read of the plight of the people from
Kosovo.
May God strengthen you all and help Nato to free you from
this reign of terror.
I cannot find the words to express how sorry I am for your
people and all they have suffered.May God bless you all and restore the refugees to their
