| THANKS TO ALL OF YOU
WHO HAVE SENT THE ALBANIAN PEOPLE MESSAGES OF SUPPORT. GOD BLESS YOU ALL! --
We hear Serb and Nato voices every night on TV. Somehow Kosovo
Albanians need to get their opinions before the world.
There are now 700,000 refugees in "safe havens". Can't they be
organized? They seem to be very passive. That must change.

Would you be so kind to provide us, possibly, a list of the most

conflict, please?
Looking forward your answer, thank you very much.

Please add the Kosovo Women's Fund to your list of
relief efforts. The < http://www.neww.org/kosovawomenfund.htmKosovo Womens Fund was established by the STAR Network of World Learning to directly support
local women's response centers in Macedonia established by women leaders within hours of
their harrowing escapes.
These Kosovar women leaders organized trauma, medical support and media centers to
respond to the extraordinary humanitarian and human rights needs of deportees and refugees
in Macedonia. The response centers are providing emergency medical care and trauma
services for displaced women and their families, providing important firsthand reports on
news from Kosovo, and documenting the traumatic experiences of women and families coming
from Kosovo.
The STAR Network of World Learning established the Kosovo Womens Fund. Contributions to
the Kosovo Women's Fund will be forwarded to the STAR Network/WORLD Learning office in
Skopje, Macedonia. Virtually 100% of the contributions will support the Kosovo Women's
Fund and modest local costs.

Hello,
I am from Malaysia. Malaysians are raising a "Albanian Refugees Relief
Fund" for the thousands of Kosova Albanians fleeing Kosova. I don't know if the Serbs
are really killing innocent people and refugees. If this is really true, then Milosevic
must be hanged after the trouble is over. He is a terrible evil man and devil like Hitler.
Only he alone is responsible.
I can only hope that NATO send in ground forces soon. I think the time will come
for NATO to send in ground forces. I hope the KLA can hold on to some resistance. But I
hear that the KLA are also terrorists. Why be terrorists? Yasser Arafat was a terrorist
BUT no more. He now prefers diplomacy. Learn his wise way. So tell the KLA leaders to turn
non-terrorist when the trouble is over. Sit down and talk for a solution. Fighting and
killing has no ending. Table diplomacy and sharing land for peace is much better.
We really sympathise with those innocent Albanian people who were victims of
Serb agression. Remember, only one man is responsible. That is Milosevic. He is really a
mad man. We know God will punish him soon. So do not have revenge on civilian Serbs when
the war is over. Make friends and peace. This is the only way out.

Milosavic should be executed for crimes against humanity. The people
that support this barbarian criminal and his goon squad should be
excommunicated from the human race. My heart goes out to the kosovo
refugees. Freedom is an inalienable right of all people, and borders
cannot silence the international will of freedom, or protect the evil
tyrants that quest for the souls of human-kind.

I am an American. I wish Kosovo could be free and
independent of Serbia/Yugoslavia. I am concerned about NATO's rejection of using ground
troops and, also, after hearing Madelene Albright's statements in our Senate Meetings
yesterday(4/20/99), I am concerned for the future of all Kosovars. Madelene Albright said NATO has no intentions of taking Kosovo away from
Serbia. Why is Albright saying this to the Senate? Would someone tell me why NATO is
fighting this war if not to Free Kosovo? I am very
disappointed. thanks, Tessa

I wish there was an end in sight to the suffering

To Whom It May Concern,
I just read that 20,000 Kosovar refugees will be brought to the
continental United States. (I am so glad that our government has
decided against sending them to Cuba.) Perhaps your organization is
involved with this. If so, please let us know if we can help in
anyway. We would be honored. My husband and I live in a 2 bedroom +
loft / 2 bath newer townhouse in a very nice area of Orange County,
California. We have no children and would be pleased to share our home
and cover expenses. There is shopping, entertainment, great schools all
near by.
There is also a large Islamic community in Southern California and
Orange County which I am sure would help to support the refugees in any
way possible -- morally, spiritually, financially, etc. My husband and
I are Muslim, born and raised in the U.S. He is an engineer and I am a
nurse. You have our e-mail. Let us know if we can be of assistance.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all the brave and noble Kosovar
people. May God protect them, shield them from harm and grant them all
peace and safety very soon.

Hola, Hey everybody!
I'm a peruvian 15 year old girl, and i'm really sorry about all that
stuff that it's going on in your country, and i wish i could help
more than with an email. But anyways just wanna let you know that
here in my country there's lots of people that every single day are
praying for you, because everything's gonna get better i know that,
you gotta have faith even if you loose someone you really care about
in this stupid war. I know it's hard and you might think that i don't
know what it's like, and i really don't, but i do believe that
everything's gonna be OK, i wish i could stop all of this, but all i
can do it's give ya guys strenght, a little support and lots of
faith. Please, never give up, that would be your biggest mistake,
keep on believing, no matter which religion you are, where you come
from or how old you are...just keep on believing and you'll see...
From here i'm trying to help ya, i wish i may with this email...
Bye
Take care
Love ya...

much. I understand that the U.S., is allowing persons who
have relatives
that live in the US, to come to the US.
Hopefully, we can help.

Sadly war is a consequence only produced by man, it has been like this
since the begining when it prooved to be profitable, and by the world's
current position we can see that they can still get something out of it.
What are they fighting for? Land? Money? Power?... the only true war is the
one that they are going to have within themselves, with their conciense, a
war where they won't be able to ask alies to help them destroy what they
think is bad or wrong or not normal or whatever goes through their minds...
They'll pay because the eternal law of karma gives justice to all, even if
you don't belive in it, there are a lot of metaphores that stand by the
same law (like divine justice)
I'm only 17 years old, but i can see what's not right and if i can see
what's wrong, why can't they?
The only thing i can offer you right now is my support, is the "i'm so
sorry" that you've probably have been hearing a lot of lately, but i can
asure you that i mean it.
I'm not on anyone's side, war brings out the worse out of human nature, and
it makes innocents victims, only to this lasts i offer support, for the
ones that never had anything to do with sides, who found themselves in the
middle of this great tragedy.

Greetings
We are an Internet Service Provider in
Southern California. We are currently
building a server and a database engine
to help the refugees of the world locate
their loved ones. The preliminary site
is now online and available for use.
The database will both accept input and
be searchable from a website. One can
enter his own record and search for
others at a single site. The site
is currently in English only, but we
do have an Albanian translator working
on a version for that language.
Any database is only as good as the data
it contains, which is why we are contacting
you. We would welcome any help you can give
us to spread the word that this tool is
available. This is *not* a fee-based site ... use
will be at no charge to anyone, ever. We
welcome all refugees, and those they are seperated
from, to enter their information and search the
database as often as they like. We would very
much like to see relief agencies taking advantage
of it, as well, and entering data for those who
cannot do so themselves.
Please feel free to look at the site. It is
still under construction, but we decided not
to wait for all the bells and whistles before
putting it online. The need is far too great.
You can find it at:
www.silent-running.com/kosohelp.htm
Please look at this project, and if you can help
spread the word, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

are deployed there soon. Anyone who feels likewise and lives

I hardly know what to say. I cannot imagine how a group known as
Christians, such as the Serbs, can commit the atrocities that they have and
continue to do so. It is my sincere wish that the world can make the
short-term lives of the Ethnic Albanians as comfortable as possible and that
in the long term those people can be returned safely to their homeland. I
have made a contribution to the Red Cross this month and will attempt to
make further contributions in the months to come. Best wishes to the
refugees and to all those who are helping them.

Hello from New York! My name is Artemis. I am a Greek-American and my
heart is totally burdened for the the people of Kosovo and all that they have
sufferred and continue to suffer. I would like any information on how I can
contact the Kosovo Refugees. I would also like to help. If there are any
special needs, I would like to send a care package, even better, coordinate a
group care package amongst friends, relatives and neighbors in my area.
Please instruct as to what needs we can assist with.
My heart especially goes out to all the children suffering and have seen
so much at such young ages, especially the children who have become orphans.
I can't imagine what its like being torn from your home, having family
members killed before your eyes. I wish we could bring them all here, even
temporarily, out of the range of fire, into a safe, loving home. I'm
thankful for the countries who have opened their arms to the refugees, but
pray that one day they will be able to return to their home.
My husband and I have been married for 15+ years and do not have any
children. We've been considering adoption for some time, but in light of all
that is happening, we want adopt a child in need, possibly more then one. I
say that because if there are any orphaned siblings, I 'd prefer to adopt
them all, if possible, rather then see them split up.
I am from Northern Greece and both my parents (primarily my mother) speak
Albanian and Macedonian (along with some relatives). I am eager and willing
to learn the language also, so that in case of adoption, to provide an easier
transition for the children. All I promise is they will be loved and
welcomed into a very loving home. My parents who also look forward to a
grandchild (they don't have any grandchildren) and lots of close relatives,
and close friends who will also shower them with love and provide the
security they so desperately need.
Please write me and advise as to what I would need to do next to make this
a reality for all of us, especially the children. We don't have a lot of
knowledge regarding international adoptions, or any adoption process, for
that matter... but would definitely like to find out more and possibly start
this process soon, particularly for the children's sakes. I have relatives
both in Greece (and Romania) in case I need their assistance in interpreting
or traveling needs.
I would also be more then willing to discuss other ways that we can be of
assistance to all children of Kosovo as well as their families.
I apologize for the length of this e-mail, and thank you for your time in
considering my above requests.
Your response and any assistance you can offer, will be greatly
appreciated.

When I listen to the Serb propagandists over here, they tend to be very loud,
not listening to anyone, and just generally are showing that they are really
*****! I figure, since the Serbians know they are doing it, and are so proud of
it (ethnic cleansing), why don't they just advertise?
I found this gif on one of their web sites, and I couldn't resist
saving it, it
was so funny. So I alterered it a little. Just a little.
It's a little ametuerish, but what the heck, I hope you enjoy this one.
I hope that it's not seen as making light of a very serious situation,
but
maybe you might be able to squeeze in a laugh or two.
Humor is good for the soul.
Especially in war...

because of your religion. God bless you all

Murray from Canada:
The other day I saw a brief account on CNN of where the KLA had
captured a small farm or cabin in Kosova, there they captured some arms
and what appeared to be serb soldiers identity cards on a table, it
looked like about 30-50 of them, As I don't think these are from those
who fled-(as who would remove these items when resting?)-the KLA, they
must be from serbs whose bones will stay forever in Kosova. I was just
wondering if this would be an accurate assumption or not? As I am not
normally violent I would hope that this is the case, as I find myself
totally involved with your struggle may you rid yourself of these serbs
(butchers, killers, and rape artists,) once and for all.
And to Nato send in the troops QUICKLY before there is no one to
save!!

I have noticed that you been producing a number of news stories that have
been covering the 'Kosovo Crisis'.
I would like to take this opportunity to direct you to the Bosnian Institute

I feel that they both hold a comprehensive source of information on the

I think that you too will agree that it is relevant to your news stories and
therefore could you possibly create links to both sites?
I hope that you carefully consider my request.

Al-salaam alikom dear muslim brothers and sisters
I am writing these words with a deep pain in my heart due to the
situation you are facing. Turn back to your true religion of Islam and
Jihad is the only way to liberate your people and your country from
the criminal serbs. Advice your refugee people not to go to their
enemies in Israel as they are criminal like the serbs and daily
killing our muslim brothers in Palestine and Lebanon.
I know that the muslim countries didn't do their role towards you and
I am ashamed of this but the world including serbs, russia and usa
only make this to muslim people as they did in Sudan, Afghanistan,
Somalia and other places because the muslim countries are weak and
most of them are followers to the west and usa.
We will try to come and do what ever help we can do towards you
eventhough the west and usa prevents any Arab or Muslim people of
coming to Albania or Kosova because they want or the aid to carry
their names and the crescent and also because they are always afraid
of the true Jihad of the muslims that will shift the balance of
struggle as they did In Bosnia.
Allah may help you and turn the enemies plans against them and we will
pray for you brothers every time.

Just a suggestion. The Seselj speech which you present from another source
is quite unreadable without proper paragraphing. I know that is probably
how you got it, but, in order for anyone to be able to read it, you have to
break it up into smaller units. The long paragraphs, especially on a
computer screen, are impossible to read. TL

I didn't pay much attention to what was going on in Kosova in the beginng other
than briefly reading what was in the paper.
Then one day as I sat at my desk at work I was looking at the Dallas morning news and they
had a slide show of pictures.
I looked through the pictures and stoped dead in my tracks and went to tears when I saw a
little boy in a refugee camp in Sarajevo.
The caption said that his parents were missing and he was the only one from his family who
managed to leave Kosova. When I saw this I saw my son and thought to myself,"my god
who could I have not been paying attention to whats going on?" Where have I been??
I can't believe that I had not given the situation any thought on whats going on in
Kosova!!
I felt so ashamed of myself and so self counscious because I have always thought of myself
as a caring person!!!
I guess I get so caught up in my life that I don't pay attention to what other people are
going through who are less fortunate.
This has been a real eye opener for me.
And I think it happened just in time to me.
Now I fell funny and uncomfortable going to a nice resturant ordering a nice meal knowing
there is someone has nothing to eat in a refugee camp or hiding in the woods. I feel funny
now going to the mall to buy cloths knowing that someone only has the cloths on his or her
back and thats it.
Tucking my baby son in at night I make it more meaningful knowing there is a child out
there who will never have the chance to feel the love a mother can only give again because
they are seperated or worse, dead.
I don't feel the pride driving up to my new home I just built knowing that a family just
like mone has been run off from theres and all they have to be greatful for is there
lives.
What the people of Kosova are going though we Americans can only imagine.
And imagining is scary enough for me.
So if you have time, Go to www.dallasnews.com and go into the photo slide show that ends
April 6, and see that picture of that little boy maybe it will be an eyeopener for you or
someone you know who didn't bother pay attention .
And to the people of Kosovo, good shall always rise above evil the whole world will stand
up together and defeat satan so that we all live in piece.

Would you please tell me how to contact your
counterpart Kosovan organisation on London? I am sending this
message to as many US and UK newspapers and Government sites as I can:
We are told men, women and children are dying in large numbers in Kosovo. They are
unarmed and defenceless. We are told 100,000 men are missing and in danger of their lives
if not already dead.
NATO has the most powerful military forces in the world.
Yet we are told our soldiers will not be used to assault an area smaller than most US
states.
If those were American or British men, women and children, we would send in whatever
forces we had there now, no matter what the cost.
But they are not. They are Kosovans, and somehow they don't seem to count in the same
way.
How "degraded" do the Serbian forces have to be before we send in our armed
fighting men to protect women and children? What is the acceptable ratio of western
military losses one western soldier per hundred Kosovan lives saved, or perhaps one to a
thousand? How many Kosovans are worth one American or Briton?
It seems to me we are only a little less racist than the Serbs themselves.
How will we in the West live down the shame of this inaction while the murder, rape and
pillage continues?

To whom it may concern,
My name is Mark Pope, I am a Junior at BYU studying psychology and family science. I
and some of my friends have been deeply impacted by what is going on right now in Kosova.
Our feelings for the Albanian people are deeper than most as we have all previously lived
in Albania (I myself lived there for 22 months). We are all fluent in Albanian and have a
working knowledge of Albanian culture and tradition.
As we have watched what has been taking place in Kosova, we feel that we could be of
use over there. As the majority of us are college students, our school year is ending, and
we are planning on coming to Albania and help out. Nine of us have already committed to
this project. We anticipate 3 more will also come.
As we all have previously lived in Albania, are fluent in language, and familiar with
what it takes to live there. We are not concerned about how we would live over there. We
are able to take care of ourselves in Albania.
Our greater concerns are how can we most effectively help the Albanian Refugees.
We do not want to waste our time on less effective endeavors, therefore we are asking
if you could generate a list of things that a group of Americans who are fluent in
Albanian could do to assist the refugees in Albania.
We would appreciate it if you could respond with this list or some other sources that
would be able to provide us with this information as soon as possible.
Once again we would appreciate it if you would get back to us as soon as possible, as
we are already planning our trip.

As I understand it, families are volunteering to take in refugees. We have
a single family home in Chicago, and can accomodate 2-3 more people
comfortably. My husband is an engineer, and I own my own company. Perhaps
you can tell me who to contact, or give me a lead for finding those in
charge of coordinating volunteer families. Thankyou. Natalie

Dear Sirs, It's
hard to believe and much more harder to understand that on the brink of XXI century a
nation lead by a brutal dictator is terrorising a nation in the heart of Europe. At a time
when the international community, NATO and all other institutions are
transforming to adapt to a new world order(hence the destruction in every field of the
mighty Russia), a dictator of a poor country that has inherited precious weapons from what
used to be SFR of Yugoslavia. Every indication shows that Milosevic or how I call him
"the small Hitler" prepared himself for a long time for this battle. He probably
even thinks the same way as Saddam does, that the battle over Kosova is the Mother of all
battles. Bare in mind, 7 month before the new millennium starts Milosevic has started a
crusade against the whole world. The methods are very filthy. He gets people of all ages
to stand on bridges, be in factories, buildings so they won't be crushed by the mighty
power of the NATO alliance. People wear some kind of badges with a target on them. These
are supposed to symbolise the innocence of the Serb people. They might be everything else
but God help them they are not innocent. They are afflicted by a collective madness,
something the psychiatrists might win Nobel price on. Any regime can't remain in power if
the people don't support it; and the Serbia's support their dictator very much. They se a
God in him(so did the Lybians in Gadafi, Iraqians in Saddam and look at the state of their
countries in these days). Always, in every situation, no matter how hard it might be for a
country you have position and opposition. In Serbia they are united in nowadays and are
fighting the same enemy:the whole world. The thing with the targets(meta-the Serbs call
them) is very interesting! They show the Serb autism towards everything that is normal. As
if they want to tell the west and NATO - here we are come and bomb us. But thank God all
the other world thinks differently. I haven't heard of a single Serb child who was killed
by a missile on his way home and on the other hand hundreds of Albanians in these
days(before that Croats and Bosnia's) although they don't wear a target are killed by
snipers, grenades, bombs and every other mean of fighting. All this just because they
aren't Serbs. Because they have a different believe. Because they believe in equality and
humanity. Not to forget this is happening 253 days before year 2000. Are prayers and hopes
are with the innocent people of Kosovo who are suffering an awful tragedy but who's
destiny is to be free and have no contacts with the Serbs never again.

To whomever it may concern,
My family and I are interested in helping the Kosovo Albanian refugees.
Along with our fellow Americans, we too have been affected by this crisis.
Our question is regarding the United States opening our doors to the
refugees. My husband and I would like to know if we can open our home to
any of the children who are orphaned. We have been married happily for 12
years and have 2 boys, one who is adopted. Our hearts and home are open to
other children. Please let us know what we can do to help and what our
options are.

I was of the persuasion that the United States was sticking their nose
in business where it did not belong. I felt that we (U.S.) should not be
self proclaimed policemen for the world.
All of that changed after viewing your web site and seeing the pictures
of the horrible atrocities that have befallen the Kosovar Albanians. I
could not believe what I was viewing. I called my 16 year old daughter
who had told me that she had an argument with one of her teacher at
school (she was of the same persuasion as I) and her teacher was
justifying the NATO presence, she too changed her mind after seeing the
carnage on this web site.
You will be in my prayers.

Thank you for allowing others around the world to see the images of the
genocide and be additional witnesses to this nightmare -- if people can not
see the horror, they can deny it. The truth can not be denied with these
images. God bless to all involved with hope that it will be over soon and
that people who have experienced this terror and survived can find peace.

Does the KLA have a webpage? Kind of figures it would be a good idea if the USA
ends up supplying weapons and assorted goods for them. Then the disgrunted americans could
visit the site and gripe more. I'm kidding around on that point mostly although some
fruits would show up. Anyway I'm just wondering if you have any info on a possible KLA
website for me to check out. I'm not doing too great finding one right now while browsing
around. It sure seems like a strange thing to ask for but what the heck. Thanks for any
help you can give me and good luck being a nice guy how ever that way of live may be. Good

I just found this from cnn
It explains some nagging questions I had about peoples
seeming indifference to genocide.
While rightly protesting violation of international law
or civilian casualties of war , I notice no mention is made
of the hundreds of thousands of deaths and more hundreds
of thousands of refugees caused by Serbian aggression and
war crimes of the past 10 years in the Balkans.
Crimes have occurred on both sides and all guilty parties
should be brought to justice, but I believe that the hard
evidence shows that the Serb forces to be the most serious
violators of human rights in the area.
So I have been asking myself why has the Orthodox Christian
Nations been so strong in support of what is clearly a case of
ongoing Genocide in the name of religious nationalism and the only answer I can
come up with is that the majority of the people in those countries feel that
the life of a non Serb or non Christian is worthless to the point of not only
supporting the Serbs but of not even raising a small
of protest to the mass slaughter. Is this a Christian concept ? Is this still a
Holy war or Crusade ?
I am aware of the past genocide's and injustices committed upon the Orthodox
Peoples since the fall of Constantanople and strongly condemn them as barbarous
and as shameful as the present day tragedy, but are the past atrocities a
justification for the present ?
On another note I realize both sides are heavily engaged in a media propaganda
war, but I do notice one difference in regard to the NATO bombing campaign..
First of all that the cities of Serbia are not subjected to indiscriminate mass
bombings and total destruction like the Nazis did in WW2, secondly that it is
only in Bosnia and Kosovo where I see destroyed cities, villages, and mass
graves left in de populated areas.
The Serbs claim that they are the victims in this. Well where are the graves
and why not show the destroyed cities on film if they exist...
There has been innocent civilian casualties occurred by the Nato air strikes
and this is also a sad part of the tragedy of this war. I pray for an end to
the brutality and for the end of century after century of Killing in the name
of Religion of ethnic identify.
May God bless and protect the oppressed in Kosova and the innocent in
Serbia.

To Whom It May Concern:
In The Miami Herald newspaper, April 23, 1999, I read of this web site. I
reside in Miami, Florida, USA.
We in America cannot understand the Serb atrociticies on the Albanians. The
Serb people remind us in America of the Germans of World War II. The
Germans, too, were in DENIAL that Hitler's leadership and regime was "ethnic
cleansing." Why are the Serbs in DENIAL?
My tax dollars are at work trying to stop Milosevic. We Americans support
NATO. We have learned from World War II NOT TO LET A MILOSEVIC continue his
atrocities. We hope the Albanians are grateful to NATO.
The Albanians are in the thoughts and prayers of the American people.

Our family prays for all of the Kosova displaced people daily. Our
hearts go out to your people and we just wish there was more we could
physically do to help. As it is, praying is all we can do, but prayer
is a great deal I guess. God is more powerful than anything and can do
ALL THINGS and I feel in my heart he will come to your people's aid. I
know it is easy for me to say God's love will see you through all these
horrors but we serve a MIGHTY GOD and I feel he WILL come to your aide.
We are unable to contribute financially at this time, but if there is
anything we can do, please let us know. Eventually NATO will put a stop

I am a Muslim from Pakistan. I am extremely sadened to hear what is
happening to the Muslims of Kosovo at the hands of the Serbian devils. I
pray that Allah helps the Muslims of Kosovo and Albania to be victorious
against the Serbs, however I am very sad that the Muslim world today is not
coming to aid of our Muslim brethern in Kosovo and Albania. I feel that
Allah will not help the Muslims because we are not following the Quran as a
people ( I mean the Muslim world) we have no unity, we are not honest towards
each other, etc. When Muslims were one brotherhood we were a very powerful
force in the world but now muslims countries are fighting each other. At
this time we muslims should send muslims fighters to Kosovo from every muslim
country and fight the Christian devils. Allah will then grant us victory
against the non believers. I wish I could go to Kosovo to help fight the
Serbs. In fact it is the duty of every true muslim to help his/her brethern
from oppression. May Allah unite the Islamic world so we can be one
fighting unit against the Christian devils and then and only then will Allah
grant us victory.
Your Muslim Brother,

I am writing to you willing all my support for albanians in KOSOVA.
I am an albanian who doesn't know anything about his family threatened in
the war , to be clearer, in the worst tragedy ever since .
I have three sisters , two brothers and my parents in Kosova . I know that
they are there , because if they were somewhere in these camps they would
give me a ring at least . I know my father would do it .
I can't work , I can't concentrate in anything , I am lost ...
To be an albanian from Kosova is ;to be proud of one very old history and
tradition , to be proud of BESA , to be proud of'' myth of sizif ''.
But in current days a great number of kosovars are out of Kosova in the
other countries of Europe. They know what BESA means . They have got a
moral to fight for their freedom .
God bless all , who are helping our country .
Long live KLA.
