Dear Sir,

I am looking for information on volunteering for the K.L.A.. I have
just recently completed a eight year tour with the U.S. Army (Active
Duty). I wish to bring my training and expertise to aid the K.L.A. in
this war. My mother is a American Albanian, and I have relatives who
lived in Kosovo when the fighting started. We haven't heard from them
since. This is a matter that is very personal for me. If you could
please get me in contact with the right people, I would forever be in
your debt.
My training is in the fields of Infantry and Communications. I was a
Army Ranger and have been in combat before. The K.L.A. would not be
getting a un-tried or un-trained volunteer with me. Please Sir, I ask
that you forward my request in this matter. Thank-You for your time
and consideration.

Sincerly,
SGT B.
U.S. Army (In-Active)

As a Canadian, I just wanted to say that it breaks my heart to see families broken apart so terribly. We, too, would like to open our home as a refuge to a small family....and also wish there was a way to adopt one or two orphans. I am the mother of one child and can hardly imagine what these children must be going though..... However, it appears that fostering is not being made as an option at this time, and although our family has a good-sized, loving home, we are not by any means rich....and can only offer what we have...warmth, food, safety, and best of all, love. I would also appreciate it if anyone knows of a place to register for future volunteering or fostering of children and families. Best wishes to all involved in this struggle...and prayers that peace is restored soon.

Hi, My name is Rajeev, and I have been living in Britain for three years. I am a student of Business in the University of Birmingham. I would like to donate some time and money to the Kosovar Refugees, and if possible be of direct help in the refugee camps.

I would be free after the 26th of May to spend time with the refugees. If need be, I am willing to spend a week in the refugee camps in Albania and help with the housing/food/other problems.

Please email me and tell me all the ways I can possibly help - after the 26th of May.

Regards
Rajeev J. Sharma

I have several bags of clothes and blankets I would like to donate to
the Kosova appeal, but do not know where to send them. I read your
list of organizations collecting, but they are all American. I live
in England and, therefore, these are of no use to me. Please could
you send me some contact names in England who could help me? I
greatly appreciate your time.
Sincerely,
Clayre Thomas

Please let me know how may help in kind and/or money?

I just wanna say. God be with the Kosovars in their stuggle against the most
Barbaric aggression in the recent human history. I hope the day will come
soon when the criminals Surbs be defeated and their war machine will be
destroyed for ever. I hope the Kosovars will prevail in their stuggle under
the KLA and one day soon will be able to return to an independant free
KOSOVO. where they live in freedom and dignity. The war must not stop untill
the last surbian is defeated and wiped out.
Keep up the great work and God will be with you.

I am sending this e-mail in regards to what
is happening to Kosovo Albanians. I am truly
outraged that the U.S. and it's European allies
are not supporting Kosovo Albanians with the
much needed help of ground troops! It is clear
that the capable military powers of the world
no longer take a "real" stand against those who
take military and genocidal aggression against
people who only want democracy and self-determination
unless it benefits them materially. I have heard
various reports of Albanians living in the U.S. and
other countries joining the K.L.A. in order to fight
against serbian genocide and military aggression. I
am not a mercenary, however I am U.S. Army veteran
and would like to know if it is possible for an
American citizen, born and raised, to join and fight
for the K.L.A.? I am not considering this action lightly
or for so-called "fun" and "adventure." This is a fight
that concerns all decent and freedom wanting people.
I cannot stand by and watch what is happening to Kosovo
Albanians, the same way I would not stand by if I had
been alive when the Jews and so many other Europeans were
suffering the same fate under Hitler.

To whom this may concern:

My parents are trying to find out how to adopt a child from Kosovo.
Preferably one whose parents have been killed in the war and who need care.
My parents have been wanting to adopt for some time, but now they are
actually very interested. However, I can't find any information on how we
would approach doing this. Any information you could send would be welcomed.
Thank you for your time and assistance.

I would like to volunteer in any capacity to help the Albanians. I am a 59-yr old hydroelectric engineer with US Army experience. I would prefer to be involved with the combat effort directly in Europe, however, I can also work in Brooklyn or elsewhere in computers or other technical support. Please advise if you can use me. J.

Hello. I am an American who has no links to Kosovo; however, I am one of God's children. I feel the horrible actions taking place, especially on defenseless people, is outrageous and incomprehensible. Seeing families pulled apart and individuals (especially children) with little to no necessities of life, deeply saddens me. Please know that I have given a donation to the American Red Cross to assist the displaced Albanians. I wish I could help your people in a more substantial way but, since I cannot, I will pray for these refugees and all the soldiers helping to stop the terrible atrocities there.

Bismillahi Ar Rahmaani Ar Raheem
Innal hamdulillah wassalaat wassalaam 'alaa Rasoolillah.

My dear brothers and sisters in Islam
Assalaamu 'alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

I pray in my du'ah that Allah may change the present horiffic circumstances
under which you all find yourselves.

The situation as much as we are able to see it reminds me of the previous
historical crusades against the Muslims of Spain and most recently of Bosnia.

I cannot see it as anything other.

We are doing as much as we can from here with financial aid and our du'ah.

I pray that Allah may guide me and all of us to increase our eebadah, and be
patience and remains steadfast in this time of great fitnah.

My heart cries out for my fellow brothers and sisters, when one part of us
suffers, we all suffer.

I am very encouraged by the recent statements by President Clinton about Kosova. I listened yesterday to a speech he made (part of it anyway, I was in my car), and I've heard the debate about how he pronounces the name--Kosovo (the Serbian) or Kosova (Kosovar pronounciation). I was very encouraged to hear him clearly say 'Kosova'. I think that this is his way of saying 'I support you' while talking about other things, and it wasn't lost on me.

There are too many reputations at stake to let this thing end without justice for your people, regardless of some of the scary things I hear. Trying to fight a 'moral' war against an opponent that will stop at nothing has never been attempted before, and as far as I'm concerned, it's the trying that counts, not the mistakes like that convoy we bombed. I feel very sorry for them, and I hope when they go to meet their maker, they will already know that Kosova will be free and they didn't die for nothing, because God knows all.

Maybe right now, they are the ONLY ones who can rest easy, knowing that their wishes will be granted. I've written a lot of times in the past two weeks since I found your site, and I wish that I could do more, but as a student with a family of my own, it's very hard. In the meantime, I've linked you to my website, and I want to use your UCK.gif also. Would you tell me what 'Ti na duhesh per Ushtrine (couldn't read)??rimatare te Kosoves' mean?

Keven

Alb-Net Response: Thank you for your support. 'Ti na duhesh pėr ushtrinė ēlirimtare tė kosovės' means: 'we need you for kosova liberation army.'

These people have suffered enough! The serbs must be defeated as soon as
possible before more of the innocents are butchered. Politics be damned!
Land troops must go in. The sooner, the better. I am a Christian and am
embarrassed by what is being done by serb "christians". They are monsters and
Hitler would be proud of them.

Myself and a small number of colleagues are looking to help for a number of weeks in May and were wondering which aid organisations may be looking for helpers and what supplies may be desired which we can bring down on two landrovers and trailers. If you have any suggestions I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards Tim.

I am a US Army veteran looking for information on joining the KLA. If you have any information please send it to the address above.

Dear Sir or Madam:
I am a journalist in Detroit Michigan, USA. I need to know
the correct spelling of Kosovo. Kosovo or Kosova? I hope you realize that I
serve a very affluent community that is just itching to help the Kosovar or
Kosovor? Refugees. I am intending on printing many of the associations that
are aiding the refugees.
Please email me the correct spelling.

Thank you,
Emma Erken

Alb-Net Response: KOSOVA is the Albanian-language spelling which we consider proper for all other languages. KOSOVO is the Serbian spelling which for some reason is preferred by most Western mainstream media. Media which are more familiar with the region use KOSOVA (see for example Radio Free Europe/Radio
Liberty). Generally, people better informed on the region, such as various
analysts, Congressmen and Congresswomen, foreign relations advisors to
President Clinton and even the President himself, prefer to use KOSOVA.

Either way, we believe that as a matter of principle, the spelling of the
name KOSOVA should be based on local use in the region itself (ie. the
way majority of its population calls it), not one dictated by Belgrade (Serbian KOSOVO).

Ispent 4 1/2 years in the U.S. Army paratropers. How can I join the K.L.A.
The giant is wakeing up

There are a number of us who would volunteer to assist the KLA.
We have a number of years invested in training and experience.
I am a former United States Marine with 10 years of service.I served on NATO
operations in Germany and other areas of operations.
I have been contacted by other veterans who feel the same way.
I have recently heard that the KLA was recruiting ethnic-Albainians in the
US; if this is true, I would like to make contact.
This is the only way I know how to help.
Respectfully,

former SSGT.

I am literally crying at this moment. Everything that is going on in Kosovo seems so far away from me, but in reality it can happen anywhere. I see the pictures on your website and it terrifies me to think that people can actually do this to other people. I am even more thankful for my freedom and I will be praying for peace in Kosovo.

Hello Kosovo supporters;

I had a one person demostration in Colorado Springs today
urging the deployment of ground troops immediately. I am
planning on demonstrating again next weekend, so anyone else
who thinks deployment of ground troops is needed and wishes
to express their views via demonstrating in Colorado Springs can contact me.

Sincerely, Vincent Burnett

My husband and I are seriously considering openning our home to a couple of
displaced children while NATO returns, safely, the familys back to Kosovo.
We have an 8 year old daugther and a 4 year old boy. We live on a 5 bedroom
home with a live-in nanny. Both my husband and I work on our own business
and we attend the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Our city McAllen TX, is
largely hispanic. If the U.S. government will allow we belive this would be
a great opportunity for the children to attend school while the war is going
on. I am not sure who to address this invitation to, so I will appreciate if
you could guide me. Thank you for your attention. Thank's Margery Woodin-Sanchez

Dear Sir(s):
Please send me information on how Americans are joining the K.L.A.
Thank-you.

I have protested the use of the naval base in Cuba for the
refugee's. It is surrounded by land mines and unfit for a civilian
population.
I have protested the inedible food and am demanding the money trail
be followed, exposing who is making a fortune having the "vegetarian
goulash" distributed.
I have demanded from President Clinton and UNICEF a way to mail care
packages be arranged, as it is imperative to make sure the refugee's are
not childized by moral and "well meant" help. Send them a pack of
cigarettes and a bottle of wine! Adulthood in a box!
I have demanded the communist arrangement of "relief workers" on a
power play be interrupted, by allowing pertinant corporations with
edible and quality food/products interfer with a deal they can display a
company banner on the barb wire fencing. I have noted the deliberate
void of natural commerce in this war and that's baaaaddd. In fact, it's
bone chilling, and so with this "aid" versus natural commerce the
refugee's sit in some cases fed bread once a week as the only food, and
in others given inedible "won't insult your religion" food which they do
not eat.
