THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SENT THE ALBANIAN PEOPLE MESSAGES OF SUPPORT. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

--

To whom it may concern:

I am a former US Army soldier and I am wondering about what I might
be able to do to help out with the conflict in Kosovo. I have a
background in film and video production as a director, producer and
production manager/coordinator. What I was thinking of was trying to
put together a group of individuals along the lines of what was the
International Brigade from the Spanish Civil War. Please let me know
what you think of this idea.

According to the South China Morning Post, 990410, the leaders of
China are regarding Milosevic´ as:
- a war hero,
- a peacemaker
- an example for ALL of us as how a man should be.

Thereby we urge everybody to PROTEST WITH THEIR WALLET !

Show in practies that You are AGAINST THE CHINES LEADERS
which are supporting Milosevic´.

The leaders of China has also refused to vote for UN troops for the
protection of the civilian in Kosova. They have also informed the
rest of the UN Security Counsil, that they will use their VETO
against UN troops in Kosova.

Don´t buy things from a country which leaders are supporting
Milosevic´.

PROTEST WITH YOUR WALLET !

Make the Chines leaders reconsider ! Sometimes money can talk !

THE BOYCOTT WILL CONTINUE UNTIL THE CHINESE
LEADERS ARE CHANGING THEIR POLITIC AGAINST
MILOSEVIC´. LOOK FOR THE TRADEMARK - MADE IN CHINA.

SWEDISH-ALBANIAN FRIENDSHIP TIES

--

I first heard (on the evening news) about Kosova a few days before the
NATO bombing started. Not surprisingly, I have become more and more
horrified as events have unfolded. I wanted to help in any way I could, so I
began educating myself as best I could, relying heavily on the internet and
trying to develop as broad a range of news sources as I could.

I had seen some of your sites while connected to the Albanian Telegraphic
Agency (ATA) website, but seemed unable to get a connection with you. Then,
2 days ago, I sent an e-mail to the Kosovo Crisis Center website, asking to
be put on their mailing list. When they responded, they suggested I might
also like to be on your mailing list. Miraculously, the web address they
gave me for you actually worked!! (I can't remember where I found the ATA
site address.)

Now, I have another question for you. I sent some money to one of the relief
organizations (Doctors without Borders) and have sent some e-mail to some
senators and to the White House, but I'm absolutely frustrated about not
being able to help more directly. I wanted to get myself to northern Albania
and help in the camps, but realized that idea was based on emotion rather
than good common sense. I couldn't find any relief agency looking for an
English-speaking psychologist or non-credentialed physician's assistant, and
I figured even if I were able to get myself to Tirana and hitch a ride up
north, I'd probably just end up getting myself in trouble with some outlaw
border gang, so....

I've been working out an idea I have for helping rebuild Kosova when (and I
try to remain optimistic) peace is restored and the surviving Kosovar
Albanians begin to return to their farms, villages, and cities. In the
meanwhile (and I hope "meanwhile" isn't very long), I need more information
than I've been able to find on-net and I need to make some contact with the
local Albanian-American community (wherever they are). I live in the San
Francisco, CA area. I think if you could give me ideas about how to find
local Albanian-Americans, I could find someone to steer me toward the
information I'm looking for.

--

I am watching CNN right now and I can't believe what I am seeing. All
the poor Albanians being killed by bloodthirsty Serb forces. These people are the demons of Europe. America should bomb them the same way they bombed Iraq. I wouldn't shed a tear if genocide was committed against Serbia. They have condoned and committed it so long let them know how it feels.

--

How would one go about joining the ranks of the KLA overseas? Please respond. B.

--

What are the churches doing? What do you need and how can I get it to you? Obviously it is not technology.

--

DEAR BROTHERS& SISTERS WE BELIEVE IN WHAT WE ARE DOING WILL BRING A BETTER FUTHER FOR ALL CONCERNED WE ARE PRAYING FOR A SOON END TO THE PROBLEMS YOU ARE FACEING.WE LOVE YOU. MARVIN.

--

Hi,
I sit in the comfort of my home and watch CNN news everyday. I watch in
horror the sufferings of the people in Kosovo and my heart goes out to
all of you. I live in a country where it is multi-racial and we get
along fine without killing each other and we are very proud of
ourselves. I hope one day you will be able to do the same too. My
prayers will be with you. Good Luck.
Cindy,
Malaysia.

--

May you know our family prays for you each and everyone.I pray you all find all your missing loved ones. Please know most of us here do support our troops in helping you all.To see the pure Hell you are all going through brings tears to us all,But we stand tall and in faith knowing that you will have happiness. The greater the trouble,The bigger the blessing. And trouble is huge now,But joy and tears of happiness awaits you around the corner.Love Auburn and her children.

I am a Christian and am utterly disgusted to say the least
with those serbs who attack you and claim to believe in Christ! It is apparent to me that the serbian military is full of devils. They are trying to
make you lose hope, but do not believe their lies, because
there is a God who loves you and made you with a dignity that they
cannot take away!!! Enduring circumstances like you have might cause one to doubt that a caring God exists, but God lives and I encourage you to ask him for help, because if God lifts you up NOTHING can keep you down!!!

I think that clinton's strategy of bombing the serbs into
submission will fail though! I say this because bombing
alone never has won a war. Even in Operation Desert Storm
the Iraqi troops did not leave until we sent in ground troops.
Thus I think that it is important that NATO deploys ground troops to Albania immediately, so they will be available to use during the good summer weather. If NATO waits until July to decide to deploy ground troops then they will not be
ready to use until the fall, which is too close to
winter, and way too many Kosovars will be dead by then. As a
result, I am calling Senators and asking them to encourage
the president to deploy troops immediately. I
am attaching a list of US Senators, and I encourage Kosovo
supporters who live inside the United States to call these Senators and express their
support for deploying ground troops to Albania now. When calling these numbers,
you will just get a secretary, but they will relay your concerns to the Senator. Note some of you may wish to volunteer your services to that Senators reelection compaign
to get more response!

Sincerely, Vincent Burnett

I have watched the news night after night about all the terrible atrocities the Serb military has done, and is doing to your people!! It is the most horrifying thing and it gets me deep into my bones!! I know NATO is doing everything they can to help your people out. We will win for you in the long run, I know it seems too slow but I am proud of my country (U.S.); we and others in "NATO" will prevail!!!! Did you know that our military is now being threatened by Serbs in America living in our very own country!!!! I wish you well and I know it's been hard and difficult but I do know this will end up in your favor. NEVER GIVE UP HOPE! I'm always thinking about you! P.S.

may God be with all the brave people in kosovo who are fighting for their
freedom . I pray everyday that God will give you strength to endure . Please
know that people from all over the world are praying for you.

Dear Kosovo Brothers & Sisters. I have just set up a site in which i have used information and photographs from your web pages and have also linked to your website. The most prominent thing I am offering is the capability to very quickly send preformed email messages to US Senators and Congressmen all you have to do is click and enter name address etc and then send. We need to get a mail campaign going very badly to push for ground troops. Also please note we have a demonstration in Marshall Park in Charlotte, N.C. downtown at 11:00 am today April 17th. in support of Kosovo. Here is the hyperlink to my site:

http://www.wewishyou.com/kosovo/kosovoframe.htm

I will continue to improve the site as time allows. Please send your name and contact information. Thanks. Zafar Khan

Greetings!

We are an independent Internet Service Provider in Southern California. We
are currently building a server and a database that we hope will help the
Kosovo refugees. The front end will be a forms-to-file webpage, backed up
by a SQL database. Anyone will be able to enter their own information and
search for others. We are non-political; we just believe the greatest pain
that can happen to anyone is not knowing where their loved ones are.

We are a small company (in fact, just my husband, my daughter and myself) We
are working as fast as we can on this project, and will be upgrading our
bandwidth next week to support as many concurrent users as possible. The
coding of the database may not be complete for ten days or so. In the
interim, we will be putting the site online and doing the data entry by hand.
Any database is only as good as the data it contains. We are building a
tool, and hope that it can be put to use. If you are interested in this
project, please reply and we will let you know the minute it goes live so
that you can inform people that is it available to them.

Naturally, there will be no charge for the use of this databank. Nor will
there be any click-thru banners or other advertisements. The only links
will be to relief organizations.

If you need further information, please ask and I will be happy to go into
greater detail.

May God hold you in the palm of his hand

To the Makers of the Alb-Net:

I’m a free German journalist, working on an article about the Kosova-War on the Internet. While recherching about this topic on the internet I found your site that’s very interesting for me. Thatswhy I decided to write an article about your work.

To get the necessary informations about you I wanted to interview you via internet/e-mail.

So I ask you to answer my following questions:

When was the Alb-net founded?

How many students and professionals work for you? What is their profession / subject?

Is your Server situated in the United States? Where is your ‘centre’/headquarter?

Who pays your work?

I’m especially interested in the work of the KCC and its KCC-NEWS:

How do you get your news from Pristina?

How many Kosova-Albanians work for you?

Are your colleagues oppressed by Serbian forces and if they are: how?

Can anybody tell me personal experiences about working as a de facto news-agency in Kosova?

How is the situation in Pristina? I’m interested in personal reports because I can hear about the general situation via TV or radio.

Can you tell about Serbian trials to disturb your news-service (by hacking or like this)?

Is there anything else you want to tell me about your work?

Thank you for any reactions.

Sincerely

Hanns-Christian Catenhusen, Berlin

Sir(s),
I received this some days ago. The fact the sender is lengua@lengua.com

implicates the owners of this site because only the owner of this site
can authorize setup of that mail address. Even if the owner claims it
was an employee who did this, they are still responsible, either they
are in control or they are not in control - if they are not in control
the site license should be revoked.

I object to this kind of propaganda and would like it stopped.

The fact I am christian has nothing to do with the issue - religion
should not be used to incite fanaticism. But in opposition to Milosovic
and his cronies policies I feel compelled to say

"as a christian I deplore Milosovic barbarian policy, I refute all his
policies especially when he and his regime refuse to acknowledge
publicly what he has done and is doing to Kosovars in Kosovo,
furthermore, he cannot later on blame anyone else, he is responsible for
it all."

Now, I ask of you is there anything you can do about what I received in
email, if there is something you can do about it, please do so, on my
behalf.

Thanking you
Tony Groves

Recently, the world has been shocked by horror stories broadcasted around
the world of the inhumane atrocities committed by the serbs in their
pursuit to ethnically cleanse the region of kosova. But there is an extent
to which the western media reveal; there are still many facts to be
uncovered, as the scale at which these systematic crimes against humanity
have been committed is abominable.I have visited your websites and those of
the kosova crisis centre in an attempt to uncover the truth of the
suffering of the people, even though I realise that we will never
understand the feeling of despair and fear they feel. For a while I have
felt extremely frustrated at the mass genocide of these innocent people and
the lack of international intervention, at least NATO strikes have given
people some hope. Now as my school reopens I would like to involve it in
raising donations of the refugees. I am already researching on this topic
for an external presentation and may have to do a mini presentation for the
school before raising the money as many people are still fairly uninformed
about the actual situation in Kosova. I would be very grateful if you could
kindly recommend to me some names of charities which are actively and
successfully helping the refugees so that I could suggest these names to
me school. Any additional information you could give which would make us
more aware of the carnage and mass destruction which has occurred would be
very much appreciated. We are all praying for the people of Kosova, may
Allah give them the strength and courage to overcome the atrocities they
have witnessed and been victim to.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,

Milosevic has brought shame to the name Serb.
Milosevic has destroyed his country as Hitler did.
Milosevic is a leader of losers.
Milosevic has made the name of Serb equal to the foulest filth.
Milosevic has made the name Serb equal to cowardice.
Milosevic has made the name Serb equal to rapists.
Milosevic has made the name Serb equal to thieves.

Milosevic has shamed a 1000 years of history.
Milosevic has made the Serbs look like weaklings unable to direct their own destiny.
Milosevic has bred hatred that will destroy Serbian children.
Milosevic is a coward who has used the Serbs. But they let him do it.

--

KLA ....get video cameras and record the Serbs, record masked men REMOVING
their masks....get their identities, get proof....let people hear the screams
of their victims.....show the Serb weakling men who are brave facing women
and children, and who foul the name of Serbians. That will be POWER of a
different sort.

The real cause of every Balkan clash since l989 has been our crazy
embargo policy. Hasn’t it done for the Balkans today what appeasement
did for Europe in the l930s?

Offer Milosevic a freebie and he’ll take it everytime. Just like
Hitler. When will our state department catch on? Why has it continually

supported an imbalance of power in Serbia’s favor? It’s hard to
understand.

We resist calling Serbia’s president a “war criminal” despite all
evidence. He remains “Mr. Milosevic” and “President Milosevic.” Yet we
were quick to label the Kosova Liberation Army (KLA) a “terrorist
organization.” On what evidence? Proof provided mainly by Serbia.

A Serb document, known to the State Department since l995, publicly
urges disinformation against the KLA. It also contains detailed plans
for ethnic cleansing in Kosova. So much for the “Bombing caused it”
argument.

Three State Department officials most responsible for our actions in
Yugoslavia have acted disgracefully.

--At the Dayton Peace Accords, Richard Holbrook rewarded the KLA for six
years of peace by giving them a cold shoulder.

--A few days ago, Secretary of State Madeline Albright turned down a
request by the KLA for arms.

--On Friday, Undersecretary Strobe Talbott railed against arming the KLA
because of “too much militarization in the Balkans.” We should ask
instead: Is it the sheer quanity of arms that has caused the problem, or
their one-sided distribution?

The State Department advice seems to control military strategy as well.
Every expert agrees: no one has ever won a war from the air and no one
ever will. Our trio says otherwise and that’s it.

Americans support the war, but they smell something funny in the way it
is being fought. Our “solutions” short of independence will be the
equivalent of sending the Jews back to Auchwitz or creating Belfast
partitions. If Milosevic is seen as a winner IN ANY WAY after all these
war crimes, if Serbia keeps the tiniest piece of Kosova, it will stick
in the craw of every American voter. Given the fact that there is
almost no one to stop them on the ground, thanks to the embargo
doctrine, they’ll own all of it and Milo will always have dealing room.

Clinton’s last chance is to replace the discredited trio with Zbigniew
Brzezinski and his own handpicked crew before its too late. His advice
would have given Serbia a Vietnam of its own, instead of a cakewalk.
That would have made a thousand times more sense, even over the use of
American ground troops. In twenty-five wasted days, we'd have had a good start.

The map you are going to need...

http://mprofaca.cro.net

I just posted a new detailed and easy to navigate Albanian - Yugoslav
border map (1:250.000) at my website. I splited it in several parts cca
90kb each to let you download it faster one by one moving around just
clicking East-West and North-South of each part displayed.

All toponyms (towns and vilages names etc.) are in Albanian language
as in Kosova Press news and other Kosova Liberation Army related news
sources.

There is already at Mario's Cyberspace Station a complete Road Map of
Kosova (1:400.000) with Serbian toponyms and easy to navigate too.

Hope you will find it useful.

Assaalaamu Alaikum Presently we are starting a most widespread call for aid to the Kosovars in Guyana. We will contact you as soon as we get some finance, can you give us any tips on running events? Mine intention is that every cent collected will be sent, there will be no corruption InshaAllah. Yours in Islam Andre Razah

--

Like many Americans I have been digusted concerning the
Serbs genocide in the past years and have been angered by
the fact that I was helpless to aid.

I feel what is now happening in your country is in part
the US fault, it was the embargo against the Bosians that
prevented them from stopping the Serbs and the US stopping
the Croatians afterwards that saved the Serbs in power to
commit further genocide.

I have heard to my amazment in the news that the KLA/UCK is
accepting volunteers? Is Americans volunteers being considered?
I am a 34 year old man who spent 5.5 years in the Regular US Army
and graduated from both light and mech infantry school.
I am currently working and hope to take my CPA test (Accountancy)
Soon but would be willing to put those plans on hold, I feel
we do owe a debt to stop the genocide that we made possible.

Hi, I am from Croatia, and I would like to give a verbal support for KLA (UCK). FIGHT BRAVELY, ALBANIAN BROTHERS! THROW CHETNIKS OUT OF KOSOVA, LIKE WE HAVE THROWN THEM OUT OF CROATIA! THEY ARE NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF DRUNKEN, STUPID CUTTHROATS. They don't know how to fight, they can just kill innocent civilians and burn their houses. Don't let them do that!!! I would like to send money for your cause, but I don't have enough for myself and my children, because I lost my job when serb chetniks attacked my country and destroyed half of it.

I can not believe that those damned Russian's support what the Serbs are
doing! Further, that they are so anti USA when if it weren't for us,
they would be in financial ruin. We should have let Germany overrun
them in WWII and then they would understand that what is giong on in
Kosovo can't be tolerated. OR, we could let them starve to death
without food and oil and everything else we are helping them with that
is keeping their God foresaken country afloat!

I say, if you are anti NATO or USA, stop using the internet, MCDonald's
and everything else that you have gotten from us. Spend your time
getting your country out of ruin and the gutter and not writing ignorant
emails about what you seem to know nothing about!!!!!

Go NATO, KOSOVO, ALBANIA! God Bless the USA!

I salute the people of Kosovo and the Kosovo Liberation Army in their
struggle against the bloodthirsty and genocidal regime in Belgrade.
Thankfully, NATO is helping indirectly with the air bombing campaign. Our
heart goes out to all those men, women and children who have suffered untold
indignities at the hands of those barbarous Serb forces. The only thing that
works against force is MORE FORCE!
Eventually, I feel that NATO ground forces will be necessary to root out the
Serbian evil once and for all. Finally, Serbia is getting a taste of its own
medicine.

Alb-Net Response: The majority of Albanians in Kosova are Muslim, however there is also a substantial number of Roman Catholic Albanians in Kosova.  It should be noted that Albanians have never fought among each other but rather embraced the difference of religions between them.  The Serbian government in the other hand is expelling and murdering both the Muslim and Catholic Albanians because of their ethnicity. Hello,
I am seeking information as to who to contact to volunteer my services
in the area of Albania/Kosova. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner by
training and I managed a casualty station in the Somali Civil War
1993-1994 and provided medical care to both civilians and militiamen.
Additionally, I am a former paratrooper, once with the US 82d Airborne
Division, leading an infantry rifle squad many years ago.

With both my infantry background, medical/nursing education and actual
combat-medical station experience, I beleive that my contribution would
be valuable.

The dilemma is only to find the appropriate organization to volunteer
with. If you could advise me I would be very appreciative. Thank you.

I am a secondary education teacher in Erie, PA. My students have studied the Holocaust in depth and they are actively keeping up with the daily reports of your suffering. Daily we pray for you. My students presently are writing letters as their way of openly supporting you. In time, our school wants to do more. Please know that we believe in a God who hears our prayers. We pray for peace and safety for you and your families. We will continue to write. Mrs. Pirrello and class.

To Whom it May Concern:

I am a student doing a research project concerning the Kosovars. In
my project I am required to answer numerous questions, and there are some
that have given me a little bit of trouble. I do not mean to bother you, but
I would appreciate it very greatly if you could answer, or at least point me
in the right direction, for these questions. Here is a list of some of the
questions that gave me some trouble.

1) Why are they refugees?
2) How has violence effected them?
3) What Deprivations have they suffered? (food, clothing, shelter)
4) What were conditions like in the refugee camps?
5) What affect did international assistance have on the conditions of the
refugees?
6) In addition to the physical sufferings, what emotional, sociological, and
psychological effects are evidenced?

If I was a man and a trained soldier, I would join the UCK and help you
fight for your homeland. Since I am neither, I can only send money for
your cause and pray that God will send his angels to fight along side
the brave KLA.

Watching the news about Kosovo, the NATO air strikes and the Yugoslav
(Serbian) response gives me just the chills.
Another Nazi-time and another Stalin-darknesss have fallen upon Europe.
The Serbians behave like Hitler's Brown Shirts and Stalin's KGB's Elite
Military units and yet, NATO "apologizes" for any "...air strikes that
kill people".
Common, give me a break. What is this all about?
On the one side you have all the atrocities of the 20th Century combined
(killings, rape, ethnic cleansing, mass starvation, mass genocide, mass
ethnic cleansing), and the other side you have a "counter-measure" in
the form of the NATO strike - and we have to "apologize" for any human
casualties?
If the war continues as it is - a showcase of NATO Airpower and nothing
else, and if the suffering of the Albanian people in Kosovo will end
with their expulsion from their country and nothing else - then I will
be ashamed to have been part of this generation of mankind.
God, I hope I am wrong and that NATO and the the free world will
liberate your people and your country from the yoke of another "madman"
dictator.
I wish you all success and the return of all of your people to their
homes in Kosovo!
