I have been and am continued to be sickened by Serb atrocities in the
Balkans in the name of 'nationalism'. Should NATO continue to delay sending
in ground troops, is the KLA accepting volunteers to fight the Serb forces
on the ground? I am seriously considering this, the drawback being that I do
not speak Albanian.

Thank you kind souls for all the long days and long hours of work you have
been doing for the people of Kosovo. I have already made a cash donation to
the International Red Cross, and I wanted to know if there is any list and/or
organization that may be making plans to immigrate the children to the US. I
saw the other evening that there are many, many children who are seperated
from their parents. When these parents become unaccounted for; in other
words, if there are children who are left homeless, or without family, where
will they be going and is there an organization I could speak with regarding
taking in a child.

As a Croatian American, I can truly sympathize with the Albanian situation.
I just want to let you know that I did everything that I could to fight that
sorry excuse of a human being in Belgrade, Slobodan Milosevic. I am sick of
his uncaring disregard for humanity. I believe that that bastard should be
eliminated, yes, eliminated completely from the face of this earth. Many of
friends and relatives suffered when Serbia/Yugoslavia attacked Croatia and
for many years the Albanians in Kosovo, especially the relatives of my wife,
which is Albanian, have either been killed or are suffering miserably.
Again, as a Croatian American, I just wanted you to know that I am in full
support of your cause and hope for a speedy solution. There is only one way
to end this B...S...! Get rid of Milosevic and all of those that believe in
his way of life. Long Live Kosovari!!!!

My name is Bill, I am a Canadian citizen with many relations before me
standing up for those who couldn't stand for themselves. I haven't much at
this time to offer in terms of money, but I do have some interesting skills.

Seeing these children suffer, is much more than I can bare. Seeing NATO try
to appear as though it is committed, well I believe that they are helping,
but lack the teeth to save these starving people. We must give these people
at least a safe passage out of the area, until proper battle assignments can
be worked out. They need food, and medicine. But mostly concentrated hits
must begin very soon against selected armour targets.

Without heavy arms it will be essential to capture these things, from the
serbs. I offer my years of strategic battle study, back country
travel/climbing and extraordinary ability with small arms, namely sniper
activity. I would be honoured to go to Europe, and work with these KLA
fighters, introducing them to the art of hunting by scope and open sights.

I understand there are others already going over there, mostly Albanian
Americans. Is there any problem with an english speaking fighter-trainer
tagging alone to help these poor souls.

Hello, I am a peace loving American. I despise the use of war to solve
issues, but sometimes fighing is the only solution. We fought a war of
independence over two hundred years ago for the principles of Life,
Liberty, and the Pursut of Happiness. I support your struggle. There
can only be peace when people are free to determine their own destiny.
Kosovo has incredible resources both in it's people, and its Country. I
sincerly hope that We Americanas can do our best to insure your

Does the KLA know where a great many of the homeless Kosovars are hiding? It
seems to me that helicopters loaded with MRE's (Meals, Ready to Eat) could
fly in fast and low over forests, push the MRE's into a clearing, land in
another, take in many small children, them fly to an Albanian hospital, let
them out, and return to a safe airfield and begin the trip all over again.

I would appreciate you if you could pass this and my email address on to

I have to admit I noticed the picture of Isa Kodra on your webpage. I'm also
currently a Sergent (E-5) in the Oregon Army National Guard. I understand
that a number of Kosovar-Americans are volunteering for service in the KLA.
While my nationality is not Kosovar (mostly Irish, actually), I see current
events there as a threat to Western Civilization (the way Churchill saw
Hitler).

Anyway, I happen to have an extensive military background. I would be willing
to serve for roughly one month as an advisor / trainer for the KLA, or in any
other needed capacity.

All I would ask for in return is a round-trip ticket, and three hots, since I
would be doing this on my own time.

As I read you e-mail from those people that are for and against NATO, it is very clear that the supporters of the killings of Albanians are very insecure, small minded and scared of having their own thoughts and beliefs for fear that some goodness and kindness might show through. When it comes right down to it, this is the same way Hitler thought he could take over the world, and thank God and people who risked their lives inorder to stop a man who really was mentally disturbed as too is the leader of the Serbs. Anyone who has to kill people for reasons that are different from their own is only doing so because of simple power and control, which really he has no control or right to. NATO should have been prepared and provided services before going in. I say for those who are in support of the killing of Albanians, you need a life, and get an education because if you had one you would have no time to say such garbage and you wouldn't feel so threatened of other cultures, beliefs and idea's. Do something nice, love one another, its the hardest thing you can do, but boy does it ever feel good.

To confirm my belief in the elemental goodness of man, I would like
Serbs who surf this site (and who see the way in which the whole world
has rallyed around the Kosovar cause) to redeem themselves in our eyes
by coming our against Milosevic's ethnic cleansing.. Pro-Milosevic
letters are appallingly in bad taste. Will more moderate Serbs
intervene to change the stereotype being formed of them?

Their track record in Bosnia and Kosova yet again proves that Serbs are

The Serbian people and it's genocidal government are fond of denouncing
Pres. Clinton as the inheritor of Nazi Germany's brutal legacy in
wartime Yugoslavia,but they are hopelessly mired in a cosy affair with
violence.In the immediate aftermath of WW2 German citizens , however
compromised they may have been as individuals , were able to point to
numerous cases of domestic resistance to Hitler's butchery:
unfortunately , it appears that the Milosevic - Arkan crusade of
extermination has been received with rapture by an entire nation!
Individual Serb opponents to the anti-Albanian slaughter will certainly
exist , but they surely will have been terrified into silent resentment,
remaining as skulking exceptions to the general rule of support for
armed assaults against against a near-defenceless people.The Serbs are
counting on drawing even greater levels of antique Pan-Slavic and Greek
Orthodox sentiment with a shift to war on Albania itself: we have long
since given up on Serbia's immediate prospects for resisting the urge to
destroy and kill ( the appetite is still not sated ) but I think that
many of us will be appalled with the intensity of pro-Serb ,
anti-Albanian hysteria in Greece as Serbia now turns to "selling" its
repulsive behaviour to Orthodox "Christians" as a blow to Albanian
irredentism. Do the Greek people really wish to align their nation to
the bloodiest cause seen in Europe since 1945 ?

ICNA Relief Donates Quarter Million Dollars for Kosovars

ICNA Relief has announced a quarter million dollars of aid for the Kosovars.
The amount, according to Mr. Tariqur Rahman, executive director of ICNA
Relief, will be spent to help refugees in Albania and Macedonia through
already established two relief offices in these countries.

ICNA Relief has started helping work in Albania for the Kosova refugees,
almost one year before, in March 1998. ICNA Albania was registered as a
not-for-profit relief organization in Tirana, Albania. Through its office,
the relief work is already in progress. Recently, another office was also
established in Deeba, Macedonia to coordinate relief work there. The
executive director made two extensive visits to both the countries to have
first hand knowledge of the plight of Kosova refugees.

ICNA Releif has distributed six containers of food, clothing and medicine for
the refugees. Two more containers of food are reaching this week from Turkey.
ICNA Relief is working closely with other Muslim organizations and Islamic
Centers and Mosques of North America. The Islamic Medical Association,
Chicago and IDRF, Canada are two prime example of working together for the
Kosova relief work. Mr. Tariqur Rahman also told that "we are organizing work
of a team of doctors in Macedonia through the Islamic Relief and Social
Services, Minnesota".

I just don't know what to say that will ease the agony your people are
suffering. I appreciate this website because others that claim to be
supportive of Kosovars condemn NATO action and support Milosevic. How can
this be? In the beginning, I did not support NATO's action, or the
involvement of the U.S. How many times will the U.S. answer the call to aid
others, only to be condemned as an aggressor and bully? However, after
seeing your website, watching CNN, and seeing the thousands of starving,
exhausted, homeless victims of Serb aggression, how can we not support any
action taken to end Milosevic's oppression of the Kosovars? I read how NATO
and the U.S. should be condemned for accidently killing 10 people on the
train, or the civilians injured or killed in Belgrade. It is horrible, yes,
but for every one Serb killed, how many hundreds of Kosovars (to say nothing
of Croatians and Bosnians) have died, been tortured, turned out of their
homes, raped by Milosevic's brutal police force and troops? It's easy to
stop this--Milosevic, agree to the terms of NATO. End the agony of your own
people. NATO is not continuing this war, you are. The great majority of
American people grieve for all victims of this senseless tragedy. God bless
all Christian and Muslim people of Kosova during this crisis.

no wonder it is such a mess and now their own country is being effected
big time, it looks to me that perhaps this is the only language they

As a mom of three children here in South Africa, I am horrified at what is
happening in Kosovo, more so where young children are concerned. What is
happening to them will surely traumatise them for life, or atleast a very
long time. People here in our town are very aware of what is happening and
equally horrified at how barbaric one person can become. Surely innocent
civilians just do not deserve his thirst for revenge over history that goes
back such a long time.

I just saw on Dutch Television a report on a Mr. Skenderi, a cameraman
who has started a TV station in Macedonia for the refugees. The main
goal of the broadcasts seems to be to help refugees find their relatives
in the many camps. The station is called "Art-TV".
I am a TV-producer myself, and I can imagine the circumstances under
which this station has to be runned. I would like to offer my help to
Mr. Skenderi, be it by working for him myself or I could try to arrange
for equipment which they will undoubtedly need.

The problem is that I don't know how to reach the station, so I hope
that you can be of help. If you could provide me with contact details of
the station I would be very glad to hear so.

I work independently now as a Heritage journalist, telling the stories that
the mass media prefers to ignore, and I would like to discuss the possibility
to getting inside Kosovo to get your story out to the Public Access TV
network and also via video that can not be edited by the media tycoons.

I also think that the story of the volunteers to Kosovo needs to be told,
during the fight, and for history once it is over. It will help in your

I am still hearing on the news that NATO bombed a convoy and that Albanian
civilian might have been killed even after reading your accounts on your web
page. I have also heard accounts that the Serbs did it.
    Whether or not this is true, I have a lot of concerns about the situation,
namely that even if it's not true, the Serbs will no doubt try to make sure
there are always civilians near their military convoys. With the captive
audience they have in Kosova, they should have no problem doing this.
    It brings me back to an earlier account of how the KLA lost a village because
the Serbs used civilians as human shields. Even I would be reluctant to shoot
at a hated enemy if I knew I might kill someone I knew, or maybe someone in my
own family.
    Our fighting forces and the KLA have it the worst in every way--an enemy who
would do this and having to make that horrible choice on the spot!
    I am certain that no Kosovar refugees trying to get to a safe place would ever
consider 'dressing up' aa a Serbian military convoy, or even being close enough
to one to be bombed accidentally by NATO planes (not to mention the fact that
being near any Serbian military force can be hazardous to the health of any
Kosovar). I would not be at all surprised to find that they were being used as
human shields.
    It leaves me with the most terrible of questions to ask of people who are
fighting to keep their homes--and their families alive:
    Do we or don't we destroy these convoys?
    The Serbians are responsible for this either way this question is answered.
May the Serbian military burn in hell!

Web Database For Kosovo Refugees?

We represent a special interest group of Linux Users, Los Angeles who’s
goal is to assist in reuniting Kosovo refugees. Specifically, we are
establishing an internet web server and database to facilitate refugees
with locating families and loved ones. Your assistance\advice would be
greatly appreciated towards accomplishing this goal.

The plan is to create a web accessible database in which refugees can
input their location and contact information and also search the
database for family members and friends.

If you are aleady doing something along these lines, or know of others,
please let us know efforts.

I am interested in voluteering for service with the KLA. I am an american and
the name P____ is the name of a Hungarian friend who is also interested in
volunteering. In fact I have a number of people who want to help. We have some
money to contribute but more importantly military and technical skills that
would be of value to the KLA as trainers, fighters and support personnel.

My background is in the Army as a Military Police (MP), Rangers (Infantry) and
Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD. 23 years. I am 40 years old at present and
