THANKS TO ALL OF YOU
WHO HAVE SENT THE ALBANIAN PEOPLE MESSAGES OF SUPPORT. GOD BLESS YOU ALL! --
My Name is Dave Storm
I am country singer here in So. Cal. As I watch the news each day I
cannot believe. The madness happening in your part of the world. I wish the
governments of all countries, would get it together, Especially Russia,
China, And these people who are protesting this action. This is stupid. It is
obvious what is happening there. And The World, Not Just NATO, should be
making this butcher pay. This type of barbarism cannot be tolerated. On
Behalf of myself and my Band& Staff. All of our prayers are with you. And
not that we are very well known, But if we can help. Just let us know how.
Thank You & God Bless You All

as time goes on, I am open for adoption of an Albanian baby if that could be
of help.

like the serb government....theres a new sunset ahead keep on the fight and

Hello,
I would like to fight for you.
I am 45 yrs old, fair health.
I think I could help call in American air support,
as I know the map system they use and am familar with
military terms. I have very good long distance eye sight, and can fire a
rifle well. I am out of shape, but I am willing to march all day.
I have a degree in mathematics, and work as a software
engineer.
The reason I am volunteering is because I have been writing to the
opinion pages of the New York Times, saying the U.S. & NATO should stop
the Serbian atrocities and we need ground troops to do that. People
wtite back "Well then you should be in the front line". OK, they are
right, I volunteer for the front line.

A letter to the Secretary of State
Dear Secretary Albright:
I know that you are well aware of what has happened in Kosova (I spell
it this way in deference to the Kosovar Albanians who lived there--not to antagonize
you), and I am sure that you dislike the ethnic cleansing as much as anyone
else, but my question is very simple:
When does cold hard politics end and humanity begin?
I know that there is not always agreement among the people of various
nations, but I also know some of them are closing their eyes to what's going on there,
and are answering to their own political realities.
I think that as much as anything, when we say one thing, then do
another, we are inviting yet another episode of 'Yankee Go Home!!!' which I am extremely
tired of. I want America to stand for something besides just something to hate abroad, or
at least if we are hated, let's stand for something!
If all we stand for is cold political realities without making an effort
to create a reality that at least has a little humanity in it, then the U.S.A., its
flag, and it's ideals stand for nothing. How are you going to sell other
countries on our ideals when we don't adhere to them ourselves? We toss human
rights around as a subject of debate when we judge others, but if we turn our
backs on the Kosovars, then what?
How many times does this guy have to break his promises before we say
'enough is enough, either do it, or we'll do it for you'. How many times? Should it be
6 times? Seven?
Maybe I'm not a 'man of the world' or 'knowledgeable' or 'don't see the
whole picture' but I can tell you this:
There is no picture I would want to be a part of that gives tacit
acceptance of Milosivics' actions as a done deal.
Even in the 'big picture' something remains of right and wrong.

US Secretary of State Albright¹s hint on Monday that NATO is willing to
accept anything less than total Serb withdrawal from Kosova is a very
unfortunate statement of appeasement to the butcher of Belgrade. This
statement comes at the end of a BBC report where about 100,000 young
Albanian men in Kosova are believed to have been killed. NATO satellite
photos of mass graves provides evidence of this horrific crime. This is a
very unfortunate statement.
All people of moral consciousness who have stood up against genocide must
protest this statement and demand Secretary Albright to take it back.

I have just read through some of the letters of support posted, and also some of
those posted by Serb supporters. I found it tragic that whilst the letter of support were
all kind and generous, those from Serb supporters were foul mouthed and abusive. I am sure
there are many kind and descent Serbians who would be as horrified as the rest of the
world if they truly knew what was being done in their name, and I find it equally tragic
that the whole Serb nation is being condemned for the actions of an evil politician and
equally evil military forces. History has repeatedly shown than because a nation has an
evil leadership, it does not make the entire nation evil - Germany is a classic example.
What I am trying to say, is that hate is never the answer, although given what you are
going through, it is an understandable reaction. I truly hope that when this terrible war
is over and you are back in your rightful homes, you will not perpetuate this viscous
cycle. In the meantime, I am sure you know, the whole world is crying with you and sharing
in your suffering as best we can.

Dear Brothers and Sisters: Salamu Alykum hello!
All the muslims should fight for Kosovo. People in Albania and Kosovo are
victim's of Serb genocide. All should join the KLA and fight for freedom
and a homeland. I love the people of Kosovo!
I am a lawyer in America and I am Palestinian and would very much like to
have an opportunity to support two or three of the victims from Kosovo. I
would very much be interested in sending my help to a few single mothers
affected by these tragedies. It will especially please me to offer my
support to a widow of a KLA martyr.
Please Fight for your homeland! Let me hear from you!

To whom it may concern,
I read with interest your website. I'm a writer for Trinity News which is a
college paper in Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. We're trying to get
together a feature on life for students in Kosovo. The normal papers are
filled with analysis of the overall political situation but little said of
what has happened to ordainry students. This is something which we feel
students in Dublin will strongly relate to. I realise this e-mail is out of
the blue but any help you might be able to give us would be helpful and
appreciated. The paper will go to press this weekend so any information is
needed as soon as possible.
In any case may I express my support as a student for your actions,
Tom Lyons

After reading about the horrifying rapes, killings and de-humanizing
that this Milosevic has been accredited with doing. How can there still
be people in Kosovo that don't think NATO should do something? I read an
e-mail from a gentlemen in Belgrade with his wife and two year old that
said we should just stay out of it - these people have been fighting
over territory for centuries. Paraphrasing he said -No need to involve
other European countries or the U.S.. IT'S NOT HUMAN to live like that.
Now there is a report of a spy closely in NATO - I hope when he/she is
found he/she is demanded to tell us who they are relaying messages to
and is Milosevic your head leader - to convict him on War Crimes. Like
in Viet Nam we were allowed to committ fully with our forces - KICK BUTT
and with Iraq & Saddam we weren't allowed to -KICK BUTT so if we are
such a dominant force how come we can't strategically -KICK BUTT with a
little country the size of Missouri. More killing are going on - Serbian
Army doesn't care about our BAD WEATHER (what a joke). Sorry we can only
fight you effectively when we have GOOD WEATHER. What kind of military
is this NATO group? WEAK, WEAK! I know there is alot of political allies
feelings to consider but who would they call on if they were in trouble
(financially, humanitarian, etc.) - U.S. of course.
I think they better have gotten contingency plans together for a big war
because this little thing sure doesn't show the Americans anything. I
used to be so proud of our military - (father retired AF) but I'm not
impressed. Whenever a war is planned do these NATO leaders know that
what they assumed was relevant may not be. They should have planned this
to EVERY EXTREME. Are there villages that Milosevic hasn't gotten to
yet? Have European ground force -Albanian's heavily Army waiting for
them to attack these areas. SOMETHING!
Strategy Unknown

Hi During the early 90's I and a few friends drove numerous trips to Romania.
We carried food, clothing and medicines donated from our contacts in and around Leeds. Is
there any opportunity to get involved in a similar way with the current situation in
Kosova and Albania. Please get in touch to give any help or advise

To whom it may concern:
Hello! I am doing a project for school on Kosovo and the war. I was wondering
if there was possibly any way that you could write back to me, with your
views on everything that is currently going on, or anything that has went on
before this. Anything would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You!

Dear fellow-europeans,
With great concern and compassion we in Holland follow the news about
Kosovo.
Most of the people here support the NATO-attacks against the Milosevic
regime in Belgrad. This doesn't mean that we want this war, but is looks
like the serbs asked for it.
The victims are the innocent people in the Balkan region.
We try to support the victims by sending boxes with children cloths, by
donating money to welfare organiszations and also by sending you
support-mail.
Keep up the good work, but do it in a peaceful way.

My name is _____ and I am 35 years old. I am from Pakistan and I
would like to join KLA to fight for the independence of Kosovo.
I do not want to enjoy my life in Canada while my Muslim mothers, sisters
and daughters are being mass rapped and killed in Kosovo.
In Pakistan during my college education, I received military training for
ONE YEAR and therefore I am sure I will be able to fight for the independence.
I shall be grateful if you could please let me know about the process for
joining KLA so that I can make arrangements accordingly. I will make my
travel arrangements from Toronto to New York or any other American city on
my own. Please let me know when the next batch of volunteers will leave for
Albania.
