THANKS TO ALL OF YOU
WHO HAVE SENT THE ALBANIAN PEOPLE MESSAGES OF SUPPORT. GOD BLESS YOU ALL! --
The images of a defiant Serbian people dancing and singing defiantly
while
700,000 ordinary people like you and me have been forcefully driven out of their
homes without any of their possessions, crossing mountains in snow and rain,
only to be herded in camps with little food and shelter, causes my heart to
ache.
NATO will be triumphant, the refugess will return to Kosovo, and the burnt
villages will be re-built. When this happens, those same people who were
dancing and singing defiantly will look around at their ruined country and
they will claim that they were innocent - they simply did not know. They
they had nothing to do with the atrocities, it was all Milosovic's doing.
Those same people who gave their complete support to Milosovic will be
asking the NATO countries to help them rebuild as well.
When that time comes, my only hope is that we remember who the victims
really are in this war. My heart aches for the refugees, but it also aches
for all of humanity. Shame on the Serbian people - they have learned
nothing what history teaches us.
Chris

Dear Friend,
I am learning about Kosovo in my school. I am a sixth grade student at Hillel
Community Day School. I am so sorry that you had to go through with this. It is all so so
unfair. What have you been going through? thank you and I am sorry.

In Sydney today the Albanian Community was attacked by unknown people.
The attack consentrated of smashing the windows and signs as well as
spray-painting pro-Serb anti-Albanian messages. This seems to be the
result of the Albanian Community Centre being featured on SBS World News
(Australia). The news article was an informative piece suggesting
people who are donating to bring the food and clothing etc. to the
Community Centre for further distribution. (By the way they need help
getting the donations to Albania)

Dear readers,
To all the Albanian people: I wish you all peace and unification of your
territories!!!!
Kosova deserves to have independence and once and for all to get rid off the bloody
Serbian butchers and their leader Slobodzilla...
To all the Serb people: You don't have no human conscious. I was
disgusted while reading your letters, but than again you are reviling yourselves and you
are all psychos.
We will stop and destroy you as you have no right to do what you are doing in our
civilized continent.
Free Kosova!
Long live lovely ALBANIANS!!!!

Hi I am trying to find web pages on the Internet that have the names of the
refugees that are in Albania and Macedonia, preferably Albania. I have just
found out from yesterdays news that people were now being forced out of
Prizren. I have many relatives there and so I would like to know if they
arrived in Albania yet and maybe these list my have their names on them. I
fthere are any wed sites or anywhere else I can obtain this information
please let me know.

Someone once wrote of the Holocaust that you would
'read with bleeding eyes'. I read of Kosovo with bleeding eyes and weeping heart. But the
anger and revulsion at Serbian atrocities is growing here in Britain. Millions of pounds
have been donated by the British people to try and help those forced from their homes and
support for military action is very strong and growing. I pray that soon our armed forces
will help the KLA and put an end to this and bring those responsible to account. The man
who commanded British forces in Bosnia recently said on TV that he would rather see
volunteer professional soldiers in body bags than thousands of murdered civilians. That is
how we feel, no one wants their soldiers to die, everyone is someone's son or daughter.
But we cannot sit by and watch an entire people dehumanized, brutalized and murdered; we
have waited too long. Steve Cheltenham, England.

Dear Sirs, First, may I ask if there is a problem with KosovaPress for
several days now I have been unable to connect to it and miss the valuable information
from it. Second,
Could you please aid me in contacting any albanian organizations in the Dallas Texas area.
I would especially appreciate a contact person for UCK as, while I am not wealthy I would
like to contribute to them for their efforts in Kosova. May I say that I am ashammed of my
governments lack of support for the UCK and I think that the whole world must be in awe of
the level of sacrifice that all Albanians have shown at this time of crisses. You have
shown yourselves to be a caring and human people. Your solidarity, patience, and suffering
in my opinion has won you the right to a free and independent Kosova. May God Bless You
All and Make you FREE. With Deepest Respect, Dennis

As moslem, I am shocked that the powerful Arab countries have not shown
their financial support and moral support by isolating Russians who
continue to support the killing of moslems. All they need to do is stop
selling oil to these countries.
90% of population being moslem, I am convinced that land will not be won
without suffering, sacrifices that Kosovars are making are beyond human
endurance and may allah rest them in peace those killed by the evil
deeds. After tragedy I am sure that Albania and Kosovo could become a
federal country with bright future. It could become the Switzerland of
Moslem world. May allah continu to shower His blessings on Kosovars and
Albanians. Our prayers are with you. Allahu Akbar.
--
As with most
people I know, I am horrified at the situation in Kosovo. One bright spot is the unending
charity shown by the Albanian people. I would like to think that Americans would be so
quick to open their homes to refugees of all ethnic backgrounds. Despite the slow debates
in our Congress, the extra monies needed to help both the refugees and Albania should be
available soon. President Clinton has promised our assistance in helpng your country's
infrastructure, and in turn, your economy. The Albanian government and people deserve
secure and safe lives. You are a fine example of the way humans should act towards their
fellow man. Our hopes and prayers are with you.

I'd like to briefly send express my feelings of sympathy for your people...
Obviously, the sympathy of one who lives safely and comfortably in the
United States means little, but I want to know that you have my support in
your struggle (As long as it remains defensive, and does not turn into a
drive for military revenge, once victory comes over the Serbs.)
I hope that soon enough my nation has the foresight, courage, and moral
strength to deploy ground forces to the defense of innocent lives. The loss
of American lives would be tragic, but no more so than the loss of Kossovar
lives.
And in reading the letters of the 'Serbian supporters' posted on this page
(And I have to assume most of those are false, sent by idiots who think it's
funny...I can't believe there are that many barely sentient trogs in the
world.), you can take strength. No where among that pile of barely
intelligible garbage was there a valid argument, or a scent of humanity.
Someday, all nations will be one, bound not by violence and counquer, but my
democracy. But untill then, independence from oppression is something to
fight and die from.

Hi,
I live in western Canada. Retired, still active in computing, but at
74 not too active anymore. I have spent a lot of time on the CNN board: <http://cnnplus.cnn.com/WebX?13@@.ee6b2b1http://cnnplus.cnn.com/WebX?13@@.ee6b2b1
which is populated by a lot of Serbs and anti-Clinton Americans.
There is a big fuss made about a certain Serb woman Jelena Vasiljevic who lives in
Belgrade and spends untold hours on the board. Some Americans can't gush enough sympathy
for her, but she hasn't been hurt yet, and won't be.
I want to correspond (email) or telephone with a real Albanian
refugee. Preferably a woman, since mothers and daughters always evoke more sympathy. I am
a happily married male, married 50 years, so I'm not looking to establish any kind of
"relationship." I would involve my wife in the correspondence or telephone
contact also.
I have several reasons:
* My wife and I might be able to give some encouragement to this
person just by showing our interest.
* We might be able to send some help somehow to at least one person.
We have already contributed to the Canadian Red Cross fund for helping refugees from
Kosovo.
* And, I want to be able to report to the CNN board what a real
refugee says and thinks about her treatment by the Serbs.
As I read that I guess the contact should be with a family, but I
would also like to see if at least some of the correspondence and/or telephone
conversations could be with a woman.
It would also be a great advantage if the person or persons could
speak tolerable English. But, both my wife and I are fluent in German. We are citizens of
both Canada and the United States.
Thank you for any information you can give me.

will impact on the 21st century.
I kindly request that you send me whatever information you may have
on current developments on the political front. I am especially
interested in anything you can tell me about the presence of the
United Nations in the Balkans. Please also send me any opinions that
you have on the current situation. I want to know what you feel about
NATO, Serbia, the KLA, etc.
Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated and ofcourse the due
credit will be apportioned to you in the final draft of my thesis.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am
very interested in knowing more about your cause. I do not seem able to find what I am
looking for, I am looking for essays on your history an culture. I have been reading it
from the Serbian side and now want to know your side of the story. It took Iceland 100 years to get its independence, three generations of
Icelanders. An island with terrible governors and a colony of Denmark. The people died of
starvation and deseases. With a population of over 100.000 in the 12th century Iceland's
population went to lower than 30.000 during the 700 years as a colony, but when Iceland
gained its independence the population had risen again to about 100.000 peoples. Was there no chance you could have gotten your independence in a peacefull
way? Is the increased suffering and cost of lifes during this war worth getting
independence sooner than later? Yours most sincerely, Ludvik

To whom it may concern:
I have found your web site a very informative source of news. I try to visit
it everyday.
However, I also find the Kosova Press web site a good source for daily news
from the front lines of Kosova. Unfortunately, I have not been able to access
the Kosova Press web site in 2 days. All I get is the following message when
I try to locate the site:
Unknown Host
Description: Unable to locate the server named
"www.kosovapress.com"---the
server does not have a DNS entry.
Perhaps there is a misspelling in the server name, or the server
no longer
exists. Double-check the name and try again.
I am still new to web browsing so I do not fully understand what this message
means.
Does it mean that the site is no longer available? Or does it mean that is
has changed its address? I am hoping that you can help with this matter
since I've been told that your web site is connected to Kosova Press.
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

brothers in Kosova? I would appreciate some type of response to my letter. Thank you Thad Harris

Dear all of you from Kosova.
I´m from the small democratic - I hope - country Denmark in Scandinavia. We have now
received the first 150 fugitives from Kosova but that is not enough, I know that! I really
hope for all of you, that you as soon as possible again can live, love and work in your
own country - without this terrible pursuit from Milosevic and his people. He is doing the
same against you as Hitler did against the Jews! I have been asking myself, what I can do?
It´s not very much - I know that - but I have put in a link to the Kosova Crisis Center
on my website and I really hope that people all over the world will raise there voices to
protest against this awful terror against you.
My best wishes, deepest thoughts and feelings are with you and I KNOW that the day will
come when you again are able to live as FREE people in your own country!
Sincerely yours,
Hanne Damian Lindquist

We heard on CNN, talking to Jamie Shea from Brussels,
that there may be well over 4000 in mass graves in Kosovo? He went
on to say that he wouldnt be surprised if there are more than 10,000 murdered, in mass
graves. Is there any news on these numbers? How do
they know these numbers? Are they finding these graves thru Special Forces and KLA or are
the numbers found from refugees arriving in camps? This number is
so alarming to us....what can be done?! Robin Hammer

Is there anything one can do to help the children, specifically? Are
there any U.S. organizations set up for physically supporting the
children? What of Adopting these children into our own families? Thank

Hello My name is Jennifer
Sullivan. I am trying to organize a clothing drive for the refugees that
begin arriving this week from the Balkans at Fort Dix. I have been in contact
with myriad different people of means or position who are willing to help with obtaining
new and used clothing. I have also spoken to friends who own restaurants
and are willing to be drop off points for people who wish to donate. I can really mobilize
a lot of people to help. And the more people who hear of this idea, the bigger it is
getting. My only problem is that I don't know who to contact in the
Albanian community in the New Jersey area. I would like to work directly with the Albanian
community to ensure that the clothing, new underwear & socks are distributed to those
who it is intended. If you have any information that can help in this
effort, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. The call is to my job
in New Jersey. Thank you for your help. Jennifer

Hi, my name is Natasha Sanchez.
I live in Texas, and almost everyday I hear things about Kosovo.
I can't help by sending money, my family is going through hard
times right now, but all I can do is promise prayer. I feel for
everyone having a hard time. Losing their family, people dieng,
no food... I am so thankful to have my family, but to lose my
daughter and husband would tear me a part. I can not see my life
going on without them. So here is my prayer to you:
Lord,
Please help all those in need in Kosovo.
Help them to grow strong and to know that you are near.
Let them feel you by their side, so that they my know
that soon they will be together with their loved ones.
Hold each and everyone of their hands, and let everyone
who can help them get through this by sending money, food,
clothing and prayer. If their ever was a time that someone
needed you desperatly it is them, they need to know you are
their, understanding their fear, knowing their pain, and
holding their hope in your hands. While you help them I will
promise to pray as much as I can possibly pray. I love you,
Amen.
I believe that soon the Lord will help them, and soon they will
find their families, I can't offer much, just my prayers. But I
want you to know that I will worrie for them in hope that some of
them won't have to. I know hope seems so small, but anything can
happen if you believe! BELIEVE! Because I believe!
Thank you for your help... to anyone & everyone who see's this.
God will see that everyone is saved from their pain.
He loves us, remember he loves us!
My heart reaches all of them in Kosovo!

Hi KLA! This Photographing-Poet-Errant is a Supporter of Freedom & Democracy.
Therefore I support the KLA if it is fighting for Freedom & Democracy. Naturally, this Lover-of-Life is vehemently opposed

see from the e-mail copied below have just direct a friend to send the KLA 1/4 of your
poor Scop's worldly wealth. Please send information in English. Also, please tell me what else this Support of Freedom & Democracy can do to
help? I am 53 summers young and have never had military training, but I am willing to come
and fight (& die if need be!) for Freedom & Democracy. Sincerely, An Earthling who just happens to have a U.S. passport.

Dear Kosovo Crisis Center:
I am interested in making a personal contribution to the relief of Kosovar refugees.
1. I would like to know more concerning opportunities in which to provide aid to the
Kosovars. I have worked as a volunteer with the American Red Cross (Disaster Mental Health
Services) and FEMA, and I am interested in offering more in vivo assistance. I have
masters degrees in both Psychology and Theology, and will be completing my Ph.D. in
Clinical Psychology from an APA-approved program in two months time. I am not yet
licensed, and I have no funds for travel expenses. I have several relatives living in the
Czech Republic and Slovakia, but I do not speak any languages fluently other than English.
What opportunities exist in which I might be able to use my skills and background? Who
might you suggest that I contact (e.g., International Red Cross)?
2. I have spent several weeks developing materials that I believe will offer: a) People a
material item that shows explicit support for NATO and concern for the refugees, and b)
provide a source of financial support to agencies which provide well organized, efficient
help in this crisis situation.
I have been unable to find anything on the Internet that meets both these criteria.
The products I have developed are: buttons, banners (i.e., bumper stickers) and cups. I
hope to make T-shirts available in the near future. Several examples should be available
by next week. Work on each item has been completed on my own, with very limited capital. I
have consulted numerous individuals on the nature and content of my items, including a
professor of international studies, two Albanian students, and persons much more
artistically inclined than myself.
Do you know of any group that might be interested in such things (e.g., Albanian American
organizations)? If so, you are welcome to provide them with my contact information.
I look forward to hearing from you.
God bless and take care.
Sincerely,
Douglas Sell, MA

Yes it is great to here that the Middle East is sympathetic to the plight of
Kosovars. While the Serbs kill and rape... the arabs raise money. What do
they think the Kosovars are going to do - throw coins at the Serb tanks ...
or peices of bread. Maybe the arabs should get ready for the next muslim
massacre - Sandzak? Turkey? Pakistan? Caucasia? where next?
A muslim women went to Rome to trade, whilst there she was attacked and she
cried out "Ya Muta'sim" (the Khalifah). News reached his court whilst he
was in prayer for Zuhr. When he finished praying he ordered the preperation
of the army and asked "What is the strongest fort of the Romans". "Al
Amuriya" was the reply. "By Allah we will pray Asr in Al-Amuriya". Today
when muslim women are RAPED we feel sympathy ... ahh.. what we should feel
is anger.
The Middle East are one of the most militarised regions in the world. Yet
the rulers there are despots who care for nothing but love to wasting the
wealth of the muslim ummah.
When Saddam invaded Kuwait, it was 'Jihad', when muslims are massacred it is
sympathy. Do we really think the NATO is concerned about us. What will
happen after NATO create a protectorate in Kosova? They do not want an
independant state - they have repeatedly said that. So will KLA become a
terrorist organisation, fighting NATO instead of Serbia? De ja vu?

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have in my possession a bag full of antibiotics and other medicines
(heparine...). These are not disused medicines but samples of medicines
that are in use.
I would like to give them to you or an affiliation of you in Europe. I
will try to get my hand on as many packages of medicines as I legally
can obtain. I am living in Belgium. Could you send me a couple of
addresses of organisations that you trust. I don't want any of these
items beening used by any Serbian national.
Yours truely, Amir-Hossein SHOJA

Hello, alb net. My name is ________, and I am a rabid american
supporter of the KLA (UCK) . I am waiting for my passport to show up in
the mail so I can go to Albania to join the KLA, but it will take almost
a month to arrive. I am trying to find a way to help during that month.
I am aware that homeland calling has personnel and organizations in the
american states of Connecticut and Massachusetts. I live in the adjacent
state of rhode island. I would be grateful if you could supply me with a
telephone number to contact them with, as I am eager to offer my
assistance.
Respectfully,

Hi
Can someone pleasa tell me how to get in touch with someone working at the
refugee campus in KUKES?
Thanks very much for all your wonderfull work guys and NATO's support.

Sir, Reading the news from the crisis in Kosovo and observing the
horrendous ethnic cleansing, only one question comes to my mind, is KLA running away
letting Kosorvans behind unprotected? The only news you see on TV is the horror stories of
refugees and how Serb army is massacring people and raping women. Is there a KLA command
to fight the Serbs? or Are Kosorvans so naive waiting for NATO to intervene with ground
troops? Please reply, jrb

Wanted to give you special notice that SenateVote.com has been relaunched as
part of CongressVote.com, a new non-partisan Web site from Policy.com and
IntellectualCapital.com focused on the conflict in Kosovo.
I know the Kosova Crisis Center will be interested in CongressVote.com
because it is the premier online community for citizens to voice their views
on Kosovo, both to their digital neighbors and to the men and women who
represent them in Congress.
I would like to invite the Kosova Crisis Center to become a Participating
Site in CongressVote.com. There is no cost to be a Participating Site, and
it is a great opportunity to bring more exposure to your site. We have
planned an aggressive promotional campaign over the coming weeks and expect
our traffic to ramp up quickly, drawing thousands of users to the site--who
in turn will have access to yours.
We ask that, as a Participating Site, you place a small CongressVote.com
logo on your site. The logos can be found at
http://www.congressvote.com/participate/. Other Participating Sites include
evote.com, The Hudson Institute, Campaigning.net, Americans Against
Political Apathy, Americans Discuss Social Security, Internet News Daily,
Reason Online, US Defense.com and USA Journal Online.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I received word of your website on an e-mail discussion list that is supposed
to be about the crisis in Kosovo. It is a website that has been dominated by
serbs crying for themselves. The leader of the website, fled from Belgrade
because of the bombings, to her other home in Cypress, with her swimming pool
and tennis courts. She says she is so distressed, the swimming pool and
tennis courts mean nothing to her, and when I dared to mention that the
refugees also fled their homes, but that the squalor of the camps was
probably not as meaningless to them as her wealth was to her, she called me a
lot of names and put me off her list.
There is one eloquent voice for the Albanians on the list now. PLEASE SEND
MORE! These people have been so angry and hateful to anybody who dares to
suggest that NATO might actually be trying to stop a terrible act, they NEED
to hear the truth. It is LiveFromBelgrade at onelist.com.
Thank you and God bless you.

Hi. We read your reports and see the TV from satellite and our own
national stations. We believe the majority of what our people (and yours) are
telling us. What you (and your people) must do is gather concrete evidence against the
aggressors so, when we eventually succeed in stopping the genocide against your people, we
will be able to bring the bastards who caused this destruction and murder to justice. Our
love goes out to you please keep safe Paul, Alex and Sarah Neal

Hallo
We have arranged a fund raising for refugees from Kosovo. We are an
social-cultural organisation from Zwolle, the Netherlands. We strongly
hope the financial aid will help a little bit to survive the horror you
are going through.
We want you to know, that we are constantly feeling close to the people
from Kosovo. Hopely freedom will come soon, and peace will return in the
Balkan.
Intens greetings from Stichting Assendorp Samen,
Henk Overweg, Zwolle

Dear kosova crisis centre, This is an appeal to you to add the information i
give here to your kosova help index display board. By checking out their web site and if
you desire contacting them to establish their legitimacy you can be assured of their
credibilty. Tonight here in england they made an appeal to the local public to help them
to raise the cash funds to enable them to transport via container vehicles the remainder
of the humanitarian aid that they have collected from generous members of the public and
local business's here in eastern england. At the moment they have 100 tons of aid
including baby food, soap and toiletries, sanitary towels, clothing, blankets and much more
ready to be shipped as soon as they can raise sufficient funds to pay the transport costs.
Many people indeed quite wealthy and generous people view your web site from the UK- but
displayed on your help index are the contact details of mainly international and american
relief organisations. I have had communication with Abdul Malik Mujahid coordinator for
the kosovar task force USA to discuss the apparent exclusion of UK based relief efforts
and he agreed with me things needed to improved in that respect. On that matter i agreed
to assist in any way i could in order to help the kosova albanian refugees. AS i say the
aid is just waiting to be loaded on the trucks and driven overland europe to reach your
suffering people. If people in uk see the LINK when viewing your site then hopefully more
funds donated will speed up the process of funding the trans- port of the aid getting it
to your people especially the baby's and children who are most in need. JUST-HELP

I have just found your site. Words can do no justice to my feelings in
response to the reports of a stream of massive executions in the last 2
weeks. The Serbs seem to have abandoned any effort to disguise their
efforts to slaughter Albanian-Kosovar young men while raping and
randomly killing young women.
Perhaps they have concluded that they will never be held accountable for
their actions, that even occupation by Kosova by NATO forces will never
include the ability to seek out the murderers in Serbia proper.
I wish it were possible to do more than feel pain for the Kosovar
people. I have no clue why a majority of the American people are
unwilling to support the use of ground troops; personally, I would be
willing to risk my own life to help overcome this greatest evil to
assert itself since the time of the Nazis. Since I am 60, I doubt
whether anyone would find me of any use in that sense.
But I can write the politicians and express my outrage at their timidity
or indifference. As a substitute teacher I am on a very tight budget and
have little money to give. If there is any thing else that I can do
please let me know.
I did wonder why some parts of your website seemed dated, for example,
the page that alludes to the atrocities most recent reference is dated
January. As one NPR reporter stated that there are upwards of 100,000
men unaccounted for, it would probably be useful to update this page
now.
Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to be of service.
My heart is with the Albanian-Kosovar people.
