The purpose of AMCC (Albanians in
Macedonia Crisis Center) and AMCC-NEWS
is to inform the world about the struggle of Albanians in Macedonia
for
equality, the right of education in mother tongue, as well as equal
participation in all aspects of life.
The discriminatory provisions
in
the Macedonia constitution itself, have translated in the daily life of
Albanians (citizens of Macedonia) to be treated as second class citizens
by
the Macedonian state apparatus in the eyes of the law, education, art
&
cultural heritage, employment, history, economy, media, politics,
etc.
This site intends to shed some
light on
various forms of oppression, aggression and human rights violation the
Macedonian government has exercised on the Albanian population since
1991,
when Macedonia declared its independence, as well as the years leading
towards
the breakup of Yugoslavia.
